“I’ve been going to Addis for the past 7 years and rarely skip a day… What drew me in was the very best tasting pour over that I’ve ever had and what keeps me coming back is the family feeling: from the friendly crew behind the counter to the local residents who make Addis a must have part of their daily routine, this place is well worth a try. “Have eaten breakfast here a few times, . Food is tasty and nicely presented. Great vibe - relaxing, welcoming, tables spaced far enough apart that conversation is possible and not too noisy. A few booths are heavily pillowed, if that's your thing. Good coffee. It's a favorite of mine.“

“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“Definitely coming back! I've stopped by a couple of times and been satisfied each time. Their iced lattes are great, but definitely on the sweeter side. They have a bunch of pastries available with dietary restrictions available, I tried the GF banana bread and it was delicious. I do wish they would warm them up, but not sure if that's an option. Staff is kind and patient, and you get your food/drinks very quick. They also have a lot of lunch options that look great, going to give them a try next time. Also, a lot of seating available and never too busy/hectic.“

I’m a full time working mom, and my parents who watch my baby while I work said the only payment they need is a box of broken tart pastries! The people there are great, they really work as a team and are super efficient. Saturdays beware though, people are lined up, and for good reason!“

“I visit Chicago every year for NYE and Weston’s has become a familiar favorite of mine year after year. I love that the lavender lattes are year-round, absolutely scrumptious pastries, friendly staff, and the environment is comfortable. Earlier this month before heading out, I went to purchase a sweatshirt but they didn’t have any in store in my size. Nick, the owner, went above and beyond offering to meet up beforehand, but I just didn’t have time-so he shipped it. “My sister introduced me to this wonderful tea shop and I cannot recommend them enough. Their Earl Grey de la Crème blend changed my perception of the Leafy Noble and many of their other teas are just as scrumptious. Even non tea lovers can find something they like since the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and will find something for even the pickiest palate. If you are in the area, skip the Starbucks and venture here. It will be well worth your while.“

“Great place to meet for coffee or breakfast, one of the few places in Oak Park that are suitable for a business conversation. So many cafes are too small, too loud, or too inconvenient to get to/park. It's spacious and has lots of room between tables for privacy. Drink choices are creative. I had the turmeric latte and egg breakfast bowl and it was delicious, very filling and freshly made. It's not a super fast place though, so don't go if you're in a hurry.“
