“Everything was wonderful, as usual. But our waiter, Nico, was fantastic! He gave us time to settle in and talk some with friends we hadn't seen for a while and then took our orders, made sure everything was right and checked back several times to fill glasses and be sure everything went well. Top notch service!“

“The food and drinks were amazing but the service was even better. Our server Nicole made amazing recommendations, all of which we went with and had a great time. We recently moved to the area and will be making this one of our frequent spots because of her amazing service. Get this girl a raise, her level of hospitality was unreal.“

“I love this Family-owned business and especially that it is owned by a veteran. My family has been coming here for years, and my go to was always the Shrimp tacos! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! New flavor each week. The staff is fabulous and these guys just celebrated 15 years in business. Cheers to Ellyn's Tap & Grill.“

“Its a great restaurant, been here many of times, upon my last visit our waitress was an older white woman with bleached blond hair! She was mad because the customers were done eating but hadn't gotten up from the table! Complaining about she's tired and ready to go home. I thought it was unprofessional! And!!!!! She didn't even get our order correct. I enjoy the restaurant, but I definitely don't want her to serve me anymore!“

“My wife and I cannot say more good things about Ground Level 105, from top to bottom and inside out. We have been going there for about 3 years now, and I can say with 100% honesty, no other place treats us better and like family more than the staff there. The staff is always so genuinely happy to see us, remembers our milestones (we just had twins and the staff have gone above and beyond to be accommodating in ways we’ve never experienced before) and always make us feel special. And that doesn’t even cover the amazing food and service they provide every time we’ve gone. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is always on point. My only complaint is that we can’t go every night :)Sincerely, thank you Patti, Nomi, and all others that have routinely made our experiences there nothing short of amazing every time!- DM & NM“

“Located in the Rose Hotel, same proximity as Dave and Buster’s and Trulucks. If the parking is full, just park in the huge parking lot across the street by Dave and Buster’s. When you walk into the hotel, the Thorn restaurant is to your right. The vibe is semi classy and intimate. It can also be a casual place to hang out, eat, and watch tv. Service was fantastic, they really take care of you over here. Prices are reasonable given the atmosphere. I had shrimp tacos, hemp hummus, and the Westcoast smasher burger. Pro tip: when you check in on Yelp, you get the hemp hummus for free. It was big enough to share with two other people.-shrimp tacos 5 - these are good sized tacos. Easily shareable. The shrimp pieces were fresh and juicy. Shells were soft. Avocado pieces were large chunks. The corn tortilla chips were crunchy and did not break easily.-hemp hummus 5 - fresh ingredients and warm naan. Very light appetizer.-Westcoast smasher 5 - ordered it medium and it came out perfect. It’s a very clean burger. Your hands don’t get oily or greasy. Meat practically melts in every bite. Special sauce amplifies the flavor. French fries were crispy and they’re on the thinner side. Well seasoned.“

“Hands down the best slider trio I have ever had. Regular cheeseburger was terrific. Buffalo chicken with blue cheese was outstanding. But the winner was the pot roast slider. Wow. Tons of flavor and very juicy. We had never been to down Elmhurst and decided to try this gem. We will be back!!!“

“The Good - Service at this restaurant was excellent. This was a nice diner with a delicious breakfast. The Usual - Add ons are an additional fee - onions with hash browns were .95, for example. The Unnecessary- I did notice the "supplemental fee" for credit card usage. Those fees are just silly because that is the cost of doing business that should be factored into a business budget. We know you're paying to accept credit cards - negotiate with your CC companies instead of adding "fees" to your bills and surprising customers.“

“We had a wonderful “southern-style” lunch at Waterleaf with 2 of our good friends. We all very much enjoyed the experience. Our waitress was sweet and very accommodating throughout our lunch. The food selections were wonderful, even though the crawfish soup was a tad too spicy for my taste. But, everything was great. And, as we have experienced before, the desserts we an extra special treat. We are so very fortunate to have Waterleaf in our local community and know that we can always count on having a wonderful experience while helping the culinary studies students achieve their goals and learn their trade.“

“Great little place. Nice music vibe, decôr funky and cool. Have your dollars ready. Had the gyros fries. Excellent, even after sitting they still had a nice outer crunch. A little less meat that than a normal gyros, pita bread a bonus, tzatziki good, nice amount of tomatoe and onion utop. Gave 4 stars as limes were completely old and dry.:(???“

“Down-to-earth, humble spot for some Chicago fast food! They have gyros, hot dogs, burgers, shish-kabob, Italian beef, fries, onion rings, and more. When I was here I got the #8 Greek chicken which was nicely seasoned broiled chicken, garlic bread, and rice. It came piping hot and fresh and served with a drink. I loved it! Their fries and onion rings were delicious, too. Pop's totally reminds me of a true Chicagoan spot for some grub - you'll see locals coming in and out while talking with the staff (because they're regulars) about the Bears, work, or construction nearby on I-90 (very Chicagoan). I loved the lowkey and charming feel here. Their pricing is affordable with most combos (including fries and a drink) being under $11. It's better to eat individually or with 1 person if you want to dine-in since they don't have tables inside, just a built-in tabletop against the walls so you're facing the window/wall when you eat. I recommend taking your food to-go. The 2 men at the counter helping me were personable and approachable. Located in a tiny stip mall off the busy street, this place is a small spot with convenient parking right out in front. Pop's is one humble fast-food place that serves up fresh menu items and Chicago classics. I'd recommend it!“

“Kasper and colleagues were a delight in the lounge area! They attended to us in a timely manner while still allowing us to enjoy our time there. Delicious coffee crusted steak, although my filet was slightly in the salty side, refreshing pineapple mojito and berry Moscow mule, loved the pear pecan salad and lobster bisque was very good. Topped it off with a birthday card and a lit trio dessert for husband's 50th birthday! ?? All well worth the price and smile on my hubby's face! Thank you, Kasper, Management and Chef Mike!!?“

“I picked this place for my birthday lunch. It has a nice interior and a great atmosphere. The antique bar is beautiful. They spaced the customers with a table in between when possible, that's a nice touch. Our waiter, Jake, was awesome. She had their chicken pot pie. It was like a fresh pot pie in a freshly baked bread bowl and she loved it.I had the Dijon bass and it was excellent despite my initial misgivings. The flavors and textures were perfectly balanced. Their rice is well seasoned and delicious too. Their vegetables were fresh but a bit cold.My French onion soup was rich and tasty with a huge chunk of mozzarella,.Her salted caramel brownie was pretty amazing. I got spumoni mostly for nostalgic reasons and it was really good.Great place with decent prices and wonderful food.“

“I wish I lived closer. I absolutely love coming here. The service is excellent. The good is very good. They won because every keeps their expectations low because it's bar food, but it's actually very good. And the vibe here is just fun! I had one of the best salads I've ever eaten. The Thai Spinach salad. Soooo good and spicy! Loved it! We also had the Spinach artichoke dip, which was fabulous. My 17 yr old son had the 8pc wings and a burger with a sunnyside up egg on it. He loved it and said it was the best burger he has ever had.Vegetarian options: There are options, but it's not a separate menuParking: The parking is essentially the end of the Costco parking, so it can be crowded.“

“This was our first time back at B. Restaurant at the Hilton Oak Brook Hills Resort since the pandemic. We went on a random Thursday night so there were not many people in the hotel or the restaurant. We grabbed a hightop near the bar as there were sports playing on the TVs. There were a couple of guys and a couple eating dinner at the bar, but it wasn't too loud at all. It took a little while to get service since there was only one bartender serving the bar area, but it was fine - just an observation. The bartender was super nice and accommodating. She's great! The entire menu has changed since our last visit. No more pot au feu. No more honey ricotta bread. No more mozzarella sticks. We really liked those from prior visits, but we ended up trying new items which were pretty good. And although the menu prices have gone up a bit from before, they were not astronomical, especially for hotel food. The best things on the new menu are the appetizers. We had the wings, the calamari, ahi tuna, french onion soup, and cream of asparagus. All were delicious. For entrees, I think my best advice is to skip the steak and short rib. Both were a bit tough and chewy. The scallops with risotto was really good. Mac and cheese was great if you like a more swiss cheese base (not so much cheddar). Truffle fries were outstanding. Desserts were a bit hit or miss. The chocolate cake was nice and rich. The kids sundae was good. The seasonal creme brulee was peppermint, but unfortunately the combination did not work well together, so this was a miss for us. Overall, I think this is a solid 4.5 star restaurant with the potential to be 5 star if they tweak some of their food offerings.“

“My Wife and I go to O'Sullivan's for dinner pretty regularly. Sometimes it is very busy but the service is always good. We like the food, they have a soup de jour which is usually very good and they have specials every day. The prices are reasonable and the bar tender always makes a great Manhattan. They have a great selection of beer, If there is a popular sporting event on television it is very crowded, but we have never had much of a wait for a table or for service.“

They set up everything seamlessly and right on time, ensuring that the entire catering process was smooth and stress-free.Now, let's talk about the food - oh my goodness, it was an absolute delight for the taste buds! The BBQ chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful, the rib tips were succulent and perfectly cooked, the baked beans had just the right amount of smokiness and sweetness, and the cole slaw was a refreshing balance of crunch and creaminess. Each dish was clearly prepared with love and attention to detail, and it truly felt like a homemade feast. “This was kind of an unexpected thing to find in the highbrow downtown LaGrange area what with it's dive bar look. I've been here about half a dozen times since I've found it last fall, and they've hit it out of the park with everything I've ordered. “Pumpkin's Place is in the heart of Maywood. The atmosphere is what is expected of a carry-out neighborhood "joint". However, the food is great! The Turkey Tips, Rib Tips and chicken wings are so quite delicious. The meat is seasoned well, then the amazing BBQ sauce makes this one of the best places for BBQ. I've never tried the sides because they don't look appetizing, but I did have the cobbler once. Surprisingly it was good. I say that because restaurant cobbler is usually unremarkable. The only downside is that it closes at 5 p.m. and the tips are usually sold out early. The great thing is it's open on Sundays so I can get my meats right after church.“
