I ordered one egg with sausage and was delighted by the amount of egg. You could really feel the charm of the place with the homemade bread and marmalade, and the donut holes are a nice touch as well. The free ice cream with sprinkles was super super cute!

I waited a while to get in but it really is just the 20 minutes that is mentioned online and if you call. I wish weekend reservations were allowed, but I get it.“

“We came straight from the airport and had several hours before we could check into our Airbnb. We found this spot online and decided to take a chance, and we’re glad that we did.

The best thing I can say about this place is that they were very accommodating and had an extremely kind staff. We had luggage with us and were basically killing time before check-in, and they made us feel completely comfortable.

“I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.“

You might not even notice City Bear Cafe driving by, but if you are looking for a delicious meal in a down to earth, comfortable environment, check it out! Portion sizes are more than sufficient, and I have never had to wait too long for food to arrive.

Fried Egg Cafe has been delicious pretty much every time I’ve been, but the portions are also incredibly generous for the price relative to spots with a comparable quality and breadth. Staff are always incredibly friendly and helpful, and food arrives very quickly. I’m always a fan of shakshouka and theirs is fantastic. The sassy eggs are also a must have.“

“I was a steady customer but will not be returning to this establishment again. Today I asked to sit in a booth and James, the owner said "We're too busy to sit one person in a "big" booth. (I was the only one waiting for a table.) So the waitress wanted me to sit at a table. The "big" booth seats 4. The table they wanted me to sit at also seats 4. The only difference is the booth doesn't hurt my back like the hard chairs do. I'm dying of cancer, which James is aware of, I have enough pain I don't need any more by sitting on hard chairs. Well he won't have to worry about being so "busy" to let someone have some comfort he's got one less patron. I'm done with this place.“

“Spenny as expected for the area, but no actual complaints about the food. The opposite in fact, I was quite impressed. We were also waiting for a while for a friend before ordering food and the waitress was so lovely about it and was happy for us to stay even though we offered to leave and come back.

Would recommend if you're looking for a good brunch spot anywhere in the centre of the city, but be prepared to remortgage your house if you're going.“

“Steak 'n Egger down in Pilsen is the absolute definition of a classic Chicago diner. We rolled in way past midnight for some late breakfast and grabbed two stools right at the counter. I ordered the standard steak and eggs with a massive side of crispy hash browns and a black coffee. The cook was working the flat top right in front of us and had our food out insanely fast. The whole place has that perfect vintage energy.“

“if you feel hungry , sad, alone. this is the place to go to. I went here with a friend while i was visiting in town and it made me wish i can be a regular here. the staff feels like family. immediately i felt so comfortable and taken care of. i know if i came there alone they would talk through life with me with a big bowl of yummy warm food. the food was AMAZING and so filling everything tasted so natural/whole and cooked with care! the service was great and the food came out in a timely manner!
