“Cream of mushroom soup is good. Home made soups are good. The breaded tenderloin sandwich with mashed potatoes was good. Showed up a bit weird though. The breaded tenderloin was on top of the bread with mashed potatoes and gravy to the side. The entire dish was then covered in brown gravy. There was no way possible to make a sandwich, but I cut it all up together and ate it as a mix. It was still good.“

“We have been using this location for our school lunches for a few years and appreciate how reliable, clean and organized this restaurant is, especially working with the manager Linda. We recently encounter an issue with a different restaurant where our lunches wouldn't be fulfilled. We were in a major panic. I called Linda immediately and she was able to take our order. We are so appreciative of Linda and her staff!“

“I’ve been to plenty of local coffee shops around Chicago and Sputnik is the absolute best. I stumbled upon this hidden gem a few years ago on my commute to work when they were on 51st. It’s been my almost daily stop since then. I’ve switched jobs a few months ago and a Sputnik pit stop adds an extra 20 min to my commute but it’s absolutely worth it.

I highly recommend a hot oat milk vanilla latte but anything you order will be amazing. They roast their own coffee, make their own flavored syrups, and they’ve done both right. The fresh pastries and growing food options have made Sputnik the best all around coffee shop. If you’re a coffee lover, DO NOT sleep on Sputnik.“

“We had Cafe 53 cater our entire wedding and the food was phenomenal! Our guests can’t stop talking about the smoked brisket to this day. Jess and her team are amazing to work with and their communication through out the entire process was great. While they have a standard catering menu, they are willing to make whatever you want and cater to your dietary needs. We had a bbq/comfort food style menu and it was a hit. The staff was on time with their services and were on top of it the entire time. The cost was a great price as well which is always a bonus. So thankful that we went with Jess and Cafe 53 for our big day!“

It's hard to find a good coffee shop that has good coffee AND good lattes! Especially in the south suburbs. Plus the food is great too! Fresh bread, quality veggies, good cheeses. “I absolutely love this place. I get the steak sandwich with tomato onions cheese pickles and mayo. I also add lettuce. The orange sauce is so good with it as well. The bread is that perfect texture that is soft inside and kinda crispy on the outside, they toast it a little. All there food is good, I'm just obsessed with the steak sandwich. I order from Uber eats but in person they have more menu options.“

We were visiting some friends here all the way from Georgia. We wish we had one of these in the south.
The food was delicious! We came twice during our visit. The servers were great and they would check on us often. The manager was super friendly.

My husband ordered ‘la toxica’ and he said it was made with authentic horchata. I had the mazapan latte and it was so good.l was pleasantly impressed that it was not overly sweet but had the rich peanut flavor. Glad to have found this place close to our lodging!“

“Beverly Bakery has become a MUST every time we are in the area! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is so friendly. The crème brûlée French toast with strawberries is easily the BEST French toast I have everrrrrr had! I love the fresh brewed coffee and the wide selection of coffee beans to take home that they will even grind up for you. I would recommend giving Beverly bakery a try to anyone looking for a great breakfast in the area.“

“Great place for boba, dessert, and a drink. They had lots of choices and cakes, and got the mango drink which was a summer deal for $11-$12 including a donut. The mango was very good and had some jelly at the bottom, but way too much ice, so the drink lasted only a little bit. This is a super expensive boba shop in my opinion, which small crepe slices over $10 each. They asked for a tip like most places do but the person working there didnt call my name, which was annoying. But a worthwhile stop after a fancy meal and great atmosphere“
