“When heading towards Beverly for a property management home inspection, I wanted to find a local coffee joint that I could get a coffee and a snack of some sort. Afro Joe's was calling to me. Walking in, greeted warmly, the adventure began. If you haven't been, check the menu before you go because you will want to order one of each item! Since it was my first time, most certainly NOT the last, I needed a lifeline. Charmaine to the rescue. I don't know if I manifested or she read my mind , but when I asked which sandwich I should order instantly , she said the short rib! Boom! Done. Next up, a drink choice. Again I was not led astray. The option was a blueberry lavender cold brew topped with rose cold foam. As she was suggesting the option, Charmaine lifted the one she was drinking and again instantly sold. No chocolate croissant available since it was later in the morning but the chocolate morning roll was there and three for three, the order was placed. I already know that I have to come back, time and time again.Just walking in such a chill vibe , perfect music, everyone tables either working or chatting with a friend. The open kitchen invites you to see the hustle and bustle. The garage doors roll up onto the patio for warmer days and what appears to be local art work adorns the walls. When I tell you, this is absolutely no exaggeration, every item was on point! The short rib was so flavor forward eith the bite of picked onions, there was a side of diced pickles and onions too. Also a hit. The warm bun had some fruit nestled in its chocolatey tummy, flakes and moist with the richness of cocoa. And for the latte, cold, sweet and the flavors all complimented each other so well. I did opt for whole milk because, why not?!? I had one too many client emails and texts to be able to enjoy grabbing a book from the shelf but note, they even had the sharpest of colored pencils to doodle or write a note with. I have not one complaint, well, maybe one, I wish they were in my neighborhood because this would be a staple place to visit regularly! Until we meet again and I can get my hands on a chocolate croissant next...or any one of the other of their baked goods. Support your Local Black Owned Businesses!“

“Visited a friend/wfh for a week and went to this cafe which was a few blocks away. Had it been a lot further away, having tried it already, I would have still gone back every day for my morning coffee! I love everything about this place…the vibe, the nod to a history and niche-ish subject of yesteryear, the friendly staff, and the coffee itself was delicious. One of the owners was present twice I was there and was very friendly - I wanted to buy a shirt but they didn’t have my size and he looked in the back and made sure the size wasn’t available before I left. Anytime I’m in Chicago, I will be back and will be ordering a shirt online. 10000/10!!!!“

“Wonderful space for black people looking to share their art or make friends. I was immediately welcomed and made to feel comfortable. They do require food purchase but it’s worth it, the quesadillas came with this unique mango salsa I loved.“

“A must try cafe with a great vibe; especially if you can sit on the patio.

The pecan pie is my favorite. The garlic chicken is excellent, and the chicken margherita on Dutch crunch is a must try. The chicken pesto on a French baguette is also fantastic.“

“Wow this place is gorgeous, I first walked in and thought I was transported to a different place, but I do have some bad things to say other than the good food, me and my friend had there crepes and they were delicious but not worth the 14 dollars for the pizza slice portion they gave us. The complaint I have was that the used all of the budget on the dining room but couldn’t afford to spruce up the restrooms. The floor in the bathrooms was cracking, the toilet was leaking, the door had to be slammed closed because it wasn’t on the hinges properly. The employee outside of the bathroom was also smoking indoors. Food was delish though!“

“First time here and I loved it! I came during that quiet time between lunch and after work. They have locally-made gelato! They have an AWESOME barista! I am really sorry I forgot to ask their name. Whoever was working Tuesday afternoon, you are great, thank you. They make their own syrups, y'all AND THERE IS WINE, by the glass or bottle and they're open til EIGHT! And there's Open Mic tomorrow (Wednesday) night!! Signups at 6:45!“

There are very few seats next to outlets and those are often taken. Great place overall! Just wish they had more outlets around the shops seating areas.“

“We had an amazing experience at SADA this morning! The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The lattes were delicious, the matcha was one of the best we’ve had, and the pastries were fresh and tasty. They were also so accommodating to our Florecitas running group, especially with several small children. Their kindness and warm hospitality made our visit even more enjoyable. “Very cute! Definitely a spot to hit even if you’re not taking the train. Give the French Toast Latte a try- I don’t love super sugary coffees, this was a great balance (delicious flavor but not too sweet)! And the maple coffee syrup is made in house. My husband got the banana bread cold brew- never tasted anything like it, unique and tasted exactly like banana bread in a cup! Highly recommend 😍“

“One of the best local breakfast or lunch spots in town! I've been by a few times with friends over the last few months and have tried the avocado toast and a few other items. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and even offered us complimentary soups while we were waiting for our meals, which arrived quickly and tasted absolutely amazing. For the quality of the food, the prices are insanely cheap. The monster cookie is to DIE for. “Visited Jazwah Coffee today. It was my first time tasting Yemeni coffee. What a treat! The service was outstanding. Amer, a very pleasant server, took the time to make some outstanding recommendations for a newbie, a latte with a fresh cookie warmed up!

The shop was clean, modern, and bright. I noted many electric outlets and people working while enjoying their coffee. There was plenty of seating.

I would highly recommend stopping especially if you're in the area. I was there about 1pm and the traffic was very heavy. Yet, Jazwah was worth it!

The Brew is locally owned, and you can feel it in every detail. The staff are warm and welcoming, always ready to chat with a smile. “The waitress was not attentive at all didn't receive silverware ask twice never received it had to get up and get my own off of another table my husband asked about strawberry glaze for the waffles was told by the waitress they didn't do that to finding out at the corner on check out that they did indeed serve strawberry glaze for waffles and pancake waitress never came to check on us My husband's waffle was overcooked was gonna send it back but since the waitress never came back mybhusband ended up just eating it my food was great I had the wild mushrooms omelet with red velvet pancakes with an ice coffee hopefully when we return we get a better waitress also the waitress should take payment at the table it would free up the front end“
