“First time coming out to try this type of experience. Everything was great and our server (Ryan) did a great job explaining things to us. He even gave some great recommendations on what to order. I’m a carnivore by nature so this was my kind of place. I forget what the rice dish with the egg was called but I enjoyed the crispy texture at the edge of the sizzling bowl. I went into a mini-meat trance after all was said and done but it was worth it.“

Grabbed the shrimp tempura with that butter mayo and a chicken curry rice, portions were huge, crispy tempura was perfect, curry had that real savory kick. “I discovered this place online about a year ago and have been a repeat customer ever since. I've done a lot of exploring on their menu and have never been disappointed. Everything is fresh, flavorful & delicious. I'm no foodie, but I know these guys keep me coming back. AND their delivery packing is so freaking adorable!! It may sound silly, but the bag and boxes the food comes in is so well done and elevates the at home experience.

The fish is always incredibly fresh, everything is delicious, and the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. It’s one of those places that keeps you coming back. Definitely one of our favorite spots!“

“We chose to visit this place on a whim since it was close to the Field Museum Had a reservation for a party of 9 and they were well prepared for us, and even though we arrived early they sat us right away. The servers were great and attentive, and checked on us regularly.

Food wise, everything that we ordered was really good. We ended up being there during their happy hour, which meant 2 dollars off the robata menu plus a selection of drinks. Whole experience was great and I would easily go back!“

“We recently visited for my bday on 5/31. The decor is beautiful and the service was stellar! Everyone was attentive and friendly. Our hibachi chef was amazing. He was extremely entertaining and super accommodating. He made our hibachi dinner experience the best we have ever had. The food was perfect and great portion sizes. My son even ordered Spider rolls and said they were amazing! My two teens and 1yr old enjoyed it immensely! Thank you all for the great celebration. We will be back for sure!!! I had been past this restaurant, on my way home from work, day after day promising I would go inside one day. On thus particular day I received an email reminding me that tomorrow is not promised so I took a chance and walked in the door without the reservation. I ordered the Tako Yaki as a starter, the Chefs Choice Nigiri Set for one and the lychee please cocktail.
I know you are looking at the pictures, enjoying the beautiful display thinking 'no wasabi no ginger'. It is not necessary. Take a drink of water between pieces and...the pieces already have wasabi in them. No trying to figure out how much to put on or putting to much annoyed with the prep work. I told you, Chef's got you. Sit down and trust the process and enjoy. I finished my meal with a Strawberry Mochi. Michelin can't be every where but they missed this place. (I am not throwing my glasses like Jordan, they cost too much, but this mochi is worth it!)“
