Chicken Gravy had LOTS of Black Pepper (too much for my liking). Sould tame it down on the Black Pepper on the Chicken and Gravy as those condiments can be added for each persons taste.“

I felt comfortable when I walked in, and she also helped me navigate the menu. Food came out in just over 5min. I got the chicken and broccoli lunch special with white rice and a crab rangoon. This was just over $10, which is a nice deal. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted excellent. The flavors were plentiful, and the portion was more than fair. I ended up taking some home. I highly recommend, and, I’ve said this about other Chinese restaurants in the area, but I truly think that this is one of, if not the best Chinese cuisine in the C-U area. Definitely will be back.“

They worked closely with us to curate a perfect menu of appetizers, salads, pastas, meat entrées, and desserts that fit both our taste and our party size. The food was absolutely incredible—our friends and family raved all night! The family-style service made the evening feel warm, personal, and exactly how a rehearsal dinner should feel as we brought two families together. The service was fantastic, and everyone we worked with was so kind and accommodating. I was able to drop off menus, place cards, and signage beforehand, and they gladly set everything up, making the tables look beautiful. I honestly wish I had photos of all the stunning food and the gorgeous table setup, but our guests (and myself!) were having such a wonderful time that no one was on their phones during dinner—a true sign that we were fully enjoying the moment. Even when we had to switch from our original outdoor seating plan to indoors, they seamlessly accommodated us without any stress. “Excellent food, never had a bad meal here. A very good spot if you have a short lunch break, I'm usually in and out within ten minutes. Ordering is sometimes a little awkward because the staff speaks limited English and I speak no Chinese, but pointing and nodding and smiling has always gotten me a wonderful meal anyway. I recommend the roasted pork with mushrooms, comes with mixed veg and a lot of savory sauce for your rice.“

I recommend the tofu or bulgogi and suggest adding egg! It’s worth noting that we accidentally arrived just 15 minutes before closing because we were unaware of their summer hours and they graciously took our order anyway. Highly recommend the fish sandwich. It’s weird to recommend seafood in central Illinois, but trust me, it is so good. Service can be a little slow when they get busy, but I can’t fault them for that. Know how to get the bartenders attention and you’ll get your drink no problem. Overall a great campus bar.“
