Everything went really well together and was really filling - after I ate I felt like I'd had super nutritious food lots of vitamins and everything else my body needs food wise - I ordered Vegetarian 202 Combo with Jerusalem Salad and I highly recommend that combo - it was very delicious - We went around 3PM and not very crowded at all quick service - I think this restaurant closes at 6PM and is closed on Saturday and Sunday - this is a really great restaurant if you like super good food - personally I really do - I'd probably eat here 3 times a week if I lived close by - much better than what I normally eat - I can't really describe how good this restaurant is - you'll have to go here to get it -“

“I’m very pleased and impressed with China King! From the service, to the food, and everything else. The lady who ran the front end is very sweet and friendly. I felt comfortable when I walked in, and she also helped me navigate the menu. Food came out in just over 5min. I got the chicken and broccoli lunch special with white rice and a crab rangoon. This was just over $10, which is a nice deal. The food was hot, fresh, and tasted excellent. The flavors were plentiful, and the portion was more than fair. I ended up taking some home. I highly recommend, and, I’ve said this about other Chinese restaurants in the area, but I truly think that this is one of, if not the best Chinese cuisine in the C-U area. Definitely will be back.“

“BEST poke/sushi bowls ever!!! This is my all time favorite place to go to whenever I’m in Urbana Champaign. Every time I want something filling but also refreshing this is my go to. Very underrated in my opinion compared to other restaurants that I’ve tried. When you walk in you can customize any toppings you want or select pre made bowls. I love getting brown rice, spicy crab salad, salmon, avocado, cucumber, mango, spicy mayo, eel sauce(no there’s not eel in it lol), crunch onion and rice seasoning.“

I recommend the tofu or bulgogi and suggest adding egg! Everything was really solid. What stood out to me was that they didn't go overboard with sugar or soy sauce like a lot of places do. I recommend the roasted pork with mushrooms, comes with mixed veg and a lot of savory sauce for your rice.“

The food was absolutely incredible—our friends and family raved all night! The family-style service made the evening feel warm, personal, and exactly how a rehearsal dinner should feel as we brought two families together. I was able to drop off menus, place cards, and signage beforehand, and they gladly set everything up, making the tables look beautiful. “Been there a few times now and it’s fun and all, but every time late into the night the upper floor is completely wet. Wet is an understatement, I’m talking huge puddles of liquid, like I could swim in it. Other then that the place is fun to go to for $20 a person.“

Highly recommend the fish sandwich. It’s weird to recommend seafood in central Illinois, but trust me, it is so good. Service can be a little slow when they get busy, but I can’t fault them for that. Know how to get the bartenders attention and you’ll get your drink no problem. Overall a great campus bar.“
