“I really like the bagels here and the sandwiches are great but they do this pet peeve of mine where they post their hours stating they’re open until 3:00 pm. I went there at 2:34 to get a toasted bagel with cream cheese to go and was informed their kitchen closes at 2:30. Just close the store. Lock the door. Turn off the lights at 2:30 then. You’re a bagel place. If you’re not serving food past 2:30 there is no reason to be open.“

“My God, this sangwich will make you feel that things might just be ok and forget for a moment what a dumpster fire of a time we live in. The lamination! Look at these luscious layers of pastry hugging eggs and some crispy plancha sausage! Look at them! Few things are perfect or capable of changing your life. This sandwich and these brothers just might be the thing. 10/10 and I’ll definitely be back for more.“

“I would easily consider bagels to be one of my favorite foods, and going to grab an iced latte and a fun bagel flavor is one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday morning - so when I heard that the Gotham Bagels South Loop location was open, I knew I had to check it out! Gotham Bagels has been on my list for a LONG time, and it definitely did not disappoint! We tried a couple of their specialty sandwiches along with a classic sweet bagel to round it all out! My absolute FAVORITE from the meal was the Brighton Beach - the smoked salmon was perfect, the ratio of ingredients was incredible, and the flavor of the everything bagel tied everything together! I’d highly recommend checking out the South Loop Gotham Bagels location!“

“I fricken love this place, man. I work around the corner so I pop in a few times a month, everything i have eaten here is so consistently delicious and the staff is literally golden. So many of them remember me and go out of their way to be sweet and kind without slowing the line down. The line gets long sometimes on the weekends mid-morning but they keep it moving! 100000/5 stars. See you guys soon!“

“These folks were at the Lincoln Square farmer’s market yesterday, and their fare was so enticing my dog stole bread right off of their table. I had one of their onion bagels - delicious and competes easily with Russ & Daughters or H&H bagel in NYC. I will be back, but Olive will have to stay home next time. “I first learned about R&A at the Lakeview Farmers Market and they quickly became a Saturday morning tradition. Now I order from them weekly! The chocolate chip bagel is my favorite, but I also haven’t met one of their bagels I haven’t enjoyed. The Hipster sandwich is delicious!! Love this place.“

“Best bagels in the city. Sam makes them from scratch! The Sammy pesto is one of my favs.the deli itself is so cozy and vibrant. Such a cute place to sit and relax over a bagel and coffee. Every detail has been thought out including having nice changing pads for families!! Much appreciated. Highly recommend.“
