“I love ordering great food from this specific Jimmy Johns because the ingredients taste so fresh and I have always had excellent customer service experiences there. The blonde tall guy with blue eyes who works the front counter has always been hella nice to me ever since i first stepped foot in there, and he's not too bad on the eyes as well, which is a plus ;) I wouldnt mind taking him for a ride on my Ninja 400 some time and maybe taking a trip to another Jimmy Johns store for food! “I always enjoy my visits to Subway in Countryside. I would like to give a big shout out to Juana. She’s very patient and provides great customer service. Today, I went to get a fresh footlong when I noticed a construction worker ordering 6 footlongs. Even with big orders, she has dedication and great pace. We always enjoy watching her dedication making every footlong. Even if she is busy working she makes time to make customers feel welcome by having short conversations. We wish we could see more employees like her. By the way, she always remembers your favorite orders. She makes the BEST pizza !!!!! Last but not least, the owner is AMAZING! He owns another Subway at Western Springs. If there was a Subway competition in town, I would advise the owner to have Juana. She will make them win the Sub Contest. :) Loyal customer for years.“

“They Philly cheese steaks, so good very good Customer Service they fix your food The way you want to fix . I am a very particular either. I don’t eat at any restaurants. My son told me about them say they fool are so good so I took a chance tonight to try their Philly cheesesteaks when I tell you it was good. It was really good. “Great cheesesteak. A nice change from the usual gyro, hotdog, or burger and open late for another option besides Portillos in the area. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the mood for a change like I was!! Would only recommend takeout though…inside is nice but the whole place smells like diesel fuel because of the fuel tanks under ground in the gas station lots surrounding Charley’s….only disappointing take away. I’d get a headache eating inside for sure.

Parking: Only a few spots so take out is a better option.“

Let me tell you, everything everyone says about this place is spot on! First off, the food is absolutely delicious. As someone whose grandmother made the best meatball sandwiches, my expectations were high – but Mortadeli’s version did not disappoint! It was fantastic. The pasta salad was also amazing, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere at Mortadeli is incredibly inviting – it strikes the perfect balance between classy and cozy. The staff are very friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about making your experience special. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff and quick delivery of our food. One of the owners even took the time to chat with us a bit. Another pleasant surprise was the parking – I had my doubts at first, but we found a spot just around the corner with no problem at all. “This Mr.Sub that’s in Berwyn off of 26th street just so everyone knows these are new owners of this Mr sub they took over a while ago and I will tell you the new owners and there food at this Mr sub is amazing the food is amazing and so good and so fresh!!! The employees that work at this Mr.sub are so nice and friendly and always give great excellent service! My daughter and I come here a lot and since we been coming here and moved to the neighborhood the food is amazing and I’ve always liked Mr.sub great food!!!!!!! This location had previous owners years ago but then these new owners took over this Mr sub and they have really turned it around and made everything better for the customers I strongly suggest that everyone and anyone goes to this Mr sub location because I think it’s the best Mr sub location I’ve ever been too and great service great food and great employees that work at this Mr sub and they all know me and my daughter cause we go to
This Mr sub a lot and there always so friendly to me and my daughter and I thank this Mr sub and your employees for how amazing they are and treat me and my daughter when we come in and we love the food food is amazing and service is amazing!!!! “I ordered the regular Philly cheesesteak combo with a peach lemonade. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is clean and atmosphere peaceful.

Cheesesteak: Tasty. Sufficient amount of food for the price. I would order again. Now, keep in mind, I am not reviewing its authenticity but taste. There are varying schools of thought on what ingredients should be included on a Philly cheesesteak.

Fries: Fresh and delicious. They literally make perfect fries. I got mine salt-free. Yum.

Lemonade: simply delicious. I usually skip the beverage when ordering a take-out meal. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. So glad I did. I don’t care for much sugar and this one was just sublime.

I highly recommend trying this Charley’s. This was my first time and I will certainly be back!“

“We were at a neighboring business and decided to try this out. What a stroke of luck? This place is great! The menu is divided into 5 sections. Cold Deli, Off the Grill, Create your own Dagwood, Veggie, and Wraps / Salads. I got the grilled Classic Italian on multi grain bread . The bread was substantial to hold up to the meat, but not dry. The sandwich overall was on the messy side, so be ready with some napkins. My brother got the Philly Cheese Steak, we are not from the east coast, so cannot validate the authenticity of the Philly portion of the name but he said it was a darn good sandwich and they did not skimp on the meat. My husband got the cold Ham & Swiss, but the staff offered to serve it hot. We also tried cheese bread with tomato sauce. This was OK. It would have been a fine snack, but the sandwiches turned out to be so big (we each got regular size - the large must be huge!), we really did not need the appetizer. The fries are "fresh-cut," and they really mean it! There is a hopper of russet potatoes (I guess about 50 potatoes) right next to the fryer. We did each have a chocolate chunk cookie (we really only had a bite of it because we were full), they are really spot-on with the "chunk" - the chocolate was substantial peices. A tasty end to the meal.“

Service isn't the fastest, but food is prepared as ordered. Decor is fun (Star Trek!), although starting to show its age (the poster of Mr Spock in the ladies room is getting ragged). Parking is a bear, many of the nearby spots must be paid online.“

I ordered one and it was mediocre at best: basically just shredded iceberg with a handful of black olives, a few pickles, and some cucumbers. For nearly $8, it felt like a rip-off considering I could’ve bought a whole bag of shredded iceberg at Juul for about a dollar. Iceberg doesn’t have flavor (it’s basically water), and while their vinaigrettes are delicious, they’d be much better served over a spring mix or microgreens. Bottom line: go here for the subs—the meatballs especially are phenomenal, I’d eat a whole bowl of them with gravy. But skip the salad, it’s not worth it.“

“A lovely downtown sandwich shop. We got an Avocado BLT, Shrimp and Crab Roll, Turkey Club, and a Cubano. Everyone loved their sandwich and enjoyed the ice cream dessert too. Staff was very helpful and I loved the style of the restaurant. Our only critical comment was the turkey club could have used more bacon (which was delicious). We can't wait to come back!“

“I have been going to the homer glen location and it is always super clean and nice inside! i love coming here and i just want to commend the guy who made my sandwich John H. I always ask for extra mayo and then the workers at other locations usually add a little bit and spread it thinly, but john h did an amazing job and really listens to what the customers ask for and want. he doubled checked to make sure my order was correct and that i had everything on it. he is very personable, friendly, genuine, professional, and polite from the brief encounters i have had with him. Everywhere else I get a gyros plate it has enough meat for 2 or 3 sandwiches.the subs seemed to be lacking meat as well. Again first time getting it there and was just surprised.“

She apologized profusely and had them remake me a sandwich. It was literally the most minor inconvenience in the world that cost me a whopping 2 minutes of added wait time, but they still snuck a free chocolate chip cookie in my bag. Completely unnecessary but much appreciated! Yay for people who actually care about their customers (even though, again, in this case, it barely even qualified as an inconvenience to me, lol). “Jersey Mike's -Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. We are super picky about where we get sub sandwiches. Jersey Mike's fits the bill every time. Oakbrook Terrace is our favorite location because of Alicia. The food and smiles she serves is top notch. I'll add some photos in the future but for now, trust me the sandwiches are filled beautifully. Alicia runs the show here from top to bottom. I can't say enough about her fantastic presence.
