They did our wedding cakes (why get one when you can two at twice the price, lol...) and we also got this DELICIOUS "Cherry Yogurt Gateau" for a recent birthday. The girl who helped me was so sweet, super patient, and explained everything perfectly. You can really tell they care about the customer experience and make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. Now let’s talk about the lemonades—WOW. Infused and delicious, it was honestly one of the best lemonades I’ve ever had. And the baked goods? Incredible. Soft, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick. Everything I tried was amazing, and I can’t wait to go back and try more. I seriously love, love, love this place. The staff, the products, the vibe—Blazed Bakery is on point. “OMG WOW! Amazing bakery! I go to tons of bakeries & I think this is the best one in Oak Park & one of the best in Chicagoland! I LOVED everything I tried from the cookies, to muffins to scones. Super high quality & extremely fresh products. Some of the pastries were still warm from the oven as I got there right at 8 am when they open. Even then, there was a little line out the door. Many people got coffee drinks but I didn’t this time. They also have $2 wonky cookies (just weirdly shaped cookies) that are a great deal. I tried: chocolate chip cookie, banana bread, vegan chocolate muffin (extra delish), goat cheese chili scone (excellent) & the wonky birthday cookie (amazing & buttery - melts in your mouth). Can’t wait to go back & try other things! Please note the place is tiny with only a few tables & chairs & there’s metered street parking so I took my order to go.

10.25.24 update: the kale salad done is truly amazing! The toasted coconut cake was sooo good and the chiffon cake was delightful. The savory corn biscuit was good but I preferred the scone, which is totally worth traveling for.“

“Food is always fantastic. The avocado toast, the breakfast burritos, and the lunch paninis are bangers, not to mention the brownies (we always grab one to-go).

The owner and employees are all very sweet and the space is vibrant—in the summer the full windows open and it's just a really pleasant spot to grab breakfast or lunch. Would love to see more authentic, small places like this open up and thrive in the North Shore.“
