“I really enjoy his restaurant all the way around. The food is delicious and I particularly like the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, Spinach and Mushroom Omelette, Colorado Omelette, Bacon Temptation Omelette, Spicy Poblano Omelette, and Cowboy Hamburger with Barbeque Sauce. I also really appreciate the wonderful background music and the fact that you're open 24 hours a day. And above all, the service here is outstanding. Everybody who's employed here is very kind, helpful, compassionate, and efficient and goes way beyond the call of duty. Keep up the great work!“

“Our first time in since moving back and it felt exactly the same. I believe the dining area has been updated but the feel is the same. All their breakfast items are good and what you expect. Can be a bit loud when busy but you shouldn't leave hungry.“

“We ordered takeout this afternoon. I’ve been eating vegetarian for about 3 weeks and ordered the vegan chicken and waffles. When I bit into it I got nervous and asked my girlfriend to confirm if she ordered the vegan. After looking at photos of both, we confirmed it was actually the vegan version. One of the best and most convincing vegan “chicken” dishes I’ve ever had. That was great, we will be back.“

I felt as though I was eating brunch at my Abuelita’s home. We also ordered ham and eggs, both of which came with a generous serving of potatoes, bell peppers, and onions. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! “THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I got the Vegan Egg Substitute sandwich with the soy chorizo and it was so good. I haven’t been able to eat eggs since I became intolerant to them and this was so satisfying. I know Brioche has eggs in it, but the bread doesn’t bother me.

“We stumbled upon Flying Saucer while visiting Chicago and are glad we did. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is fun with nice indoor and outdoor seating options. Service: the cashier we had was awesome and helped with recommendations for someone who has never been to Chicago or had Chicago food.
Atmosphere: loved the diner feel to the place!

“I regularly order takeout from here and I have dined in multiple times as well. Extremely friendly service, GREAT food with huge portions. It’s rare to find someplace that makes everything perfect and the same every time. You can tell everybody that is there from the cooks to servers care and that is refreshing. “We went to the cafe twice for breakfast during our stay in Chicago. We love their hot Pumpkin Spice latte and the Pistachios Matcha latte. We had the Mushroom, spinach and cream cheese puff pastry and Viral Bagel (Garlic and parsley cream cheese) on one day. The next day we had the Guava & cream pastry and Ham & cream cheese cachitos. We love all the breakfast items. First time trying a cachito. It is like a bread shaped in a crescent. The cafe atmosphere is very casual and relax.“

“I had the spinach and mushroom crepe and it was not good. I blame myself for not telling the waiters anything to possibly save me $15, my plate was still full when we asked for the check! The potato pancakes were very oily for me and the spinach tasted undercooked, the mushrooms didn’t help the texture as well. I was really hungry so I had some fries and pickles, 10/10 would come back for some fries and ketchup. Really should’ve sent my food back but I was shy lol! Anyways, great place for breakfast!!“
