“I had passed by here and wondered about it on my way to the gym a lot. Finally my husband and I went. Now we won’t stop going. The food is really good. The coffee drinks are great. The service is great. It’s a very unassuming and solid breakfast spot that doesn’t break the bank. We love it.“

“Food is all homemade ... chilliques are so good with red sauce To die for... The burgers are HUGe.... so delicious.... the fries are like no others and I personally never order fries. So they have to be good.... I did substitute the salad for the fries and was blown away how tasty it was... I mean I'm talking salad right!! Please come visit this beautiful restaurant and tast the real homemade goodness.“

“I cannot put into words how wonderful, hospitable and welcoming this place is. I was welcomed in by the owner Samantha, young respectful young lady, she took my order she made me feel at home. I felt as though I was eating brunch at my Abuelita’s home. Thank you Samantha and family for the warm welcome- the red chilaquiles and cafe de olla we’re phenomenal and I will be sure to be back with my babies and husband! I mentioned to Samantha I was treating myself for my birthday and she brought out a cinnamon role with a candle meant the world to me!“

“Lovely family owned business. Servers were very attentive and great to make conversation with if you’re interested. Food was great, portions were filling, $50 (w/ tip) for two adults and a teen. Overall great experience, reminded me of what I thought iHop was when I was younger!“

The waiter was super nice and friendly and checked on us a few times to see if we needed anything. The ambiance was great, the food was fresh and a lot of it. I took my leftovers home. “I was a steady customer but will not be returning to this establishment again. Today I asked to sit in a booth and James, the owner said "We're too busy to sit one person in a "big" booth. (I was the only one waiting for a table.) So the waitress wanted me to sit at a table. The "big" booth seats 4. The table they wanted me to sit at also seats 4. The only difference is the booth doesn't hurt my back like the hard chairs do. I'm dying of cancer, which James is aware of, I have enough pain I don't need any more by sitting on hard chairs. Well he won't have to worry about being so "busy" to let someone have some comfort he's got one less patron. I'm done with this place.“

“We stumbled upon Flying Saucer while visiting Chicago and are glad we did. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is fun with nice indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff were friendly, helpful and on top of it. This is the type of restaurant I wish I had in my neighborhood. If you’re in the area it’s a must visit.“

“This place is so cute! It is a diner's diner with all the nostalgia of Waffle House and NONE of the regrets! The fries were REALLY GOOD! Thin and firm with just the right amount of little crunchy ones. No stink eye at bringing in a kid (there are even high chairs and lollipops at the till). This is my new favorite“

“When they first opened, I read some bad reviews and decided not to go. A year later, I happened to walk by and finally gave it a try, and to my surprise, after one sandwich I ordered a second, and even took a third to go! The food was amazing. 🤤🤤🤤

“Food: I got a Gyro for the first time and it was good but was a lot of the same flavor, not much variance since the meat is all ground up. Probably just not for me personally. Pizza looked really good!
Service: the cashier we had was awesome and helped with recommendations for someone who has never been to Chicago or had Chicago food.
Atmosphere: loved the diner feel to the place!
Parking: Pretty small parking lot out front, fits maybe 10 cars.“

“Klein’s bakery is consistent with the quality of food and service. 100% recommend! The price is perfect for the quality and quantity of food. My favorite place to get an egg, cheese, bacon bagel sandwich with and iced coffee. Then before I leave I usually treat myself to some pastries to enjoy later.“

“This restaurant is really outstanding and really great for the image of Evanston's southern end. The food is fantastic and I very much enjoy everything from the Bacon Temptation Omelette to the Spicy Poblano Omelette to the Crispy Chicken Sandwich to the Cowboy Burger. All of the food is fabulous and very well prepared, the variety is wonderful, and the coffee is always fresh. And above all, Ivan and the waitstaff provide customer service that's 'above and beyond' in every way. They're very kind, compassionate, efficient, and accomodating to everybody who comes into the establishment. Keep up the great work!“
