Though I've never eaten there and only gotten takeout, the fries were so delicious and the service, even just for takeout, was so good that I wanted to write this supportive review.Having ordered during the pandemic I appreciate that they are taking social distancing seriously here.“

“I hosted a private group cooking class for 25 people for my birthday, and everything was absolutely perfect! The space is beautiful and needed no addition decoration. I connected my ipad to the built-in sonos speakers to play my spotify playlist, and I was able to project a picture slide show on the large tv display monitors. From the moment I walked in he had everything accounted for - circular name tags for the wine glasses, hair ties for those with long hair, latex gloves, glasses for beverages (it's BYO), bottled and sparkling water, etc. Chef Naveen and I consulted on the menu and he took into account people who had food restrictions. Everything we made was absolutely delicious. I didn't tell my group we were cooking Indian food because some people automatically assume they won't like it, but let me tell you there were NO LEFTOVERS! The staff was amazing, always cleaning and organizing in the background. Chef Naveen was the highlight of the evening! He was so funny and engaging and he could remember everyone's name. My guests absolutely loved him. Everything was absolutely perfect. I give him 10 stars and will definitely be back again!“

“Worth the wait and must try! Beautiful and unique venue in the unassuming town of Des Plaines. Our server was kind and welcoming, food was delicious, drinks were fun and tasty. The only two items that were less than ideal, the horrible acoustics (incredibly loud) and although it was too on my list to try, the chicken shawarma rolls were underwhelming. Even with those two items, the great service and food quality it's still worth the 5 star review. We sat upstairs, which very much appreciated, being out of the hustle and bustle of the downstairs. Looking forward to trying the brunch and the outside patio... overlooking the water.“

We could tell immediately how much they care for the couples that they work with and there was no doubt in our mind we made the right decision by working with them! Upon our first meeting they took the time to get to know us, our cultural backgrounds and used the details to put together an incredible wedding tasting menu. We have not gone a day since our wedding without someone telling us how incredible the food was! The entrees were served hot, timely and tasted even better than we had remembered it. We were even told that the presentation was like it was served at a gourmet restaurant - it truly was!Ovy Signature Catering is the best in the game and I would recommend them over and over again to anyone throwing a wedding! “Located in community where veganism is scarce puts this restaurant on the map. I've seen many reviews and videos via social media and decided to give it a try. I ordered my food online for pickup. Super seamless pick up. It was clean and quiet inside the establishment. I loved the Birria vegan tacos. The chef did not skimp on the mushrooms or the flavor. I would've wanted it to be spicy but it was still delicious without. For vegan consume, I will say it's good but doesn't quite hit the spot as the non vegan consume would. Great for dipping though. I think three tacos is incredibly filling but would've appreciated rice or beans to be added to the dish for the price. As a tea connoisseur (not really but still), I can appreciate the liquid gold beverage. I definitely believe this is for people interested in trying tea or using it for medicinal purposes. I found it to be something I could've whipped up at home so I wouldn't be inclined to try again. Overall, I will be a repeat customer.“

“Real gem of a deli in Willow Spring. Staff really efficient, focused, and friendly. Standard deli menu supplemented with creative options—Super Deluxe All-Beef Slim Jim sandwich anyone? I had an excellent shrimp and crab cake po boy (pictured) and my companion had the whitefish dinner. The place had a steady stream of locals—this deli is clearly a local lunch hot spot. And for good reason—good food and good value. Not much seating inside, but a decent-sized patio out back which will be great in warm weather.“

“Eat Fine is a special place. Not only is their menu extensive and their food incredible, they really care about their community, the service is amazing and they always do whatever they can to help you out. But most importantly, their food is top notch. There isn't anywhere I know of that makes such delicious, fresh tasting Thai food, and I'm so lucky to have it in my neighborhood. “Wow! We loved these guys. Our venue sent us a list of recc'd caterers and I am so happy we went with Amazing Edibles. Firstly Remedy, Sarah Ann and Andrea were super responsive, totally knew all their stuff and were incredibly respectful of our budget and desires. The tasting with them was fun and Very tasty and I can't thank them enough for how our wedding went last weekend. We got to the venue and honestly everything was done and done better than I could have imagined. They flipped the room after the ceremony and I can't get the picture of how beautiful it looked out of my mind! They know how to set a gorgeous table even with our sort of minimal decor. The lead greeted us and asked us only necessary questions and then just got it done which was a godsend because of all the chaos of our families and wedding party etc. We came back to the private room after our photos and there was a gorgeous plate of appetizers and our signature drinks there waiting. All of our guests told us how amazing the food was, bar staff was great, and not a single thing was out of place or late or off. At the end of the night them or the venue staff Both? (they worked in tandem with Ovation, Chicago) handed us a box of all our stuff rounded up from everywhere and thank god they did because by midnight I dunno if we would have been super able to find it all ourselves! Absolute professionals who know exactly how to cater an amazing party. Our venue was super happy that we chose them because they love working with them too and it's clear to see why. We've tried Panera, PotBelly, etc. No one compares. Panera sandwiches have two pieces of meat on them and soggy letuce. PotBelly is good, but limited selection for those with dietary restrictions. Jimmy Johns may be fast but questionable quality at best. Give Tasty a try, you won't regret it!“

“We have been coming to Helfeld’s since they opened and beyond the amazing food (lox and bagels are to die for) the owners make this place even more phenomenal. The father daughter duo clearly loves what they do and it shines through in their food. They are featured at the Holocaust Museum’s “I’ll have what she’s having” exhibit which goes into the history of Jewish Delicatessens and their importance in America. The lox and bagel here is the highlight of our week!“

“I have worked with Jewell many times since 2015, this was my first time using "Jewell To Go Catering" and the service and quality is just as high level. Most recently used for a cold serve lunch of 3 proteins, salad and starch for 20ppl - everything was great. The sauces did not have much punch to them, they were super mild, but I thought this was ideal for a business lunch where everyone had to be comfortable in a long meeting following eating without getting to brush their teeth, etc.“

“We were in the area and remembered that Two Chefs was down the street. We have emotional ties to this restaurant because they catered our wedding in 2011 and we were very impressed with their food. The waitress greeted us at the door and was very professional, polite, and well dressed. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie, it was very flavorful. The chicken was very tender and the crust was flaky like you would expect. I ordered the 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli it was so delicious and brought back memories. My husband and I knew we wanted to do great and delicious mexican food for our wedding and we were struggling to find someone who could do that in a large venue setting, and was willing to travel to Janesville, Wisconsin. I found Rossy through tons of research online and so happy I did! She is so incredibly kind and we enjoyed taking the drive to Chicago where she cooked right in front of us a variety of options to try for our wedding.I know that my husband and I probably over communicated often in the 9 months leading up to the wedding with tons of questions and making sure all would go right. “i ordered Easter dinner from Kasia's for a family of six. Baked ham, smoked sausage and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, sweet peas with bacon, cheddar pierogi, salad with all the fixings, creamed horseradish, and cheese blintzes.l--it was all really delicious and the portions were huge. A loaf of their delicious egg bread completed the meal. Everything was well-packed and they included easy to follow reheating instructions. My only minor complaint was that some of their estimated reheating times were wildly off. Things they said would take 10 minutes to reheat took over a half hour.But all was okay. If you're entertaining at home, and you do not want to cook, I would highly recommend Kasia's for their delicious catering.“

The burger I had was tasty, and the seasoned fries were awesome. I'd come back for the fries alone! They have many TV screens that were playing a wide variety of sports. This would be a great place to catch a game. The inside is quite spacious. Located right off the Brown Line, the location is great for those relying on public transportation.“

“Tried the Jerk Burger at the Rock & Rail Festival. Hands down, this is one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten in my life. The perfect kick of spice, amazing flavor on the meat, perfectly grilled and just the right amount of toppings. The chef was friendly and you could chat with him while he cooked. “Whenever I'm in Chicago I search for hidden gem foodie spots. I mean Chicago is literally foodie Heaven. We didn't dine in because we were trying to prepare for an event but I'm kind of glad we didn't. It's small and dark inside, and I felt like the tables were too close together. But they made up for it all with an AMAZING breakfast. I got the gyro skillet. Absolutely delicious!! The picture does it absolutely no justice.. I never thought of gyro as a breakfast item and now I know I need it often. There were huge portions of meat and amazing tzatziki sauce and nobody will ever call them stingy with the cheese because for every bite I got delicious feta cheese chunks mixed in. It was amazing. The pancakes were basic, there was nothing wrong with them but I'm not going to reminisce on them. But that gyro skillet!!! I can't wait to get it again“
