“Don’t let the photos fool you, these are hands down the best donuts I’ve ever had in my life. I was a little upset when my half dozen rang up to $47 (my fault for not looking at prices ahead of time) but was SO incredibly surprised by the flavor and texture of these donuts. The bakers have managed to find a way to make yeast donuts perfectly flavorful with no greasy feeling- they are light as a fluffy pillow with the slightest crisp from being fried. Honestly, to die for. Were still amazing even hours later!!“

Vegan birria tacos (made with perfectly seasoned mushrooms) were excellent, though I have to admit the consomé wasn't, unfortunately. But the vegan soul plate was all good. The fried hearts of palm were tasty and crunchy, the mac and cheese was creamy and not too heavy, the sweet potatoes were Thanksgiving-y, and the greens did their job. And the hibiscus and ginger tea I ordered was delicious! I just wish it was less than a 40-minute drive for me, but what can you do?“

The donuts are unconventional--imagine a slightly denser challah shaped like a donut. They're bready and sort of chewy, but it works as a pastry and would pair well with coffee. There have been instances when I was running late and needed to get to work on time. I ordered from the app before I arrived and my food was always ready!
