“One of the single best places to eat in the entire area. I've never had a bad experience here, every staff member is extremely cooperative and inviting. The food is very amazing, and any time anyone comes to visit us we try and get them to come here if they're looking for somewhere because it is so good.“
“I don't get out here enough. This place has always had a special place in my heart as my family has come here many times for special events like birthdays and Castelli's has never failed to impress.Parking: There's always a place to park here, which is great, especially if you have larger parties.“
“We worked with Nicky G's to cater our wedding on 12/31/2023. Everything was perfect!! The appetizers and dinner were amazing and far exceeded our expectations. Our guests were telling us that the food was the best wedding food they've tasted. We worked with both Karen and Tom who went above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. We cannot say enough great things about the experience and results. Thank you, Nicky G's, for being part of our most memorable day!!“
“It's a lot bigger on the inside then I had expected. My friend and I went there on my weekend we've been trying to eat there but the timings never worked out till last Thursday. We had a wonderful waitress, my friend ordered a small pizza which was the perfect size for her. I ordered some buffalo chicken bombs which were tasty I'ma totally order the bacon cheese burger bombs next time, for my main app I got the Cajun chicken and sausage Alfredo it came of course the chicken and sausage as well as sauteed onions plus bell peppers my all time fav.Every piece of food was delicious definitely better then Macs tbh. I wonder what, I'ma get next time I stop by Alton.“
“We've been here a few times and it's always been good. I had a small dinner salad and hubs had a small house dinner salad. Their salad dressing is very tasty. The salads were really good and fresh. Portions are very generous, so we split the spaghetti and meatballs. There was enough left over we took a small box home as well! The salad is served with a garlic toast, and some slices of whole wheat baguette and real butter came with the pasta. The meatballs were very good and the texture and flavor was just right, but the real star of the dish was the marinara sauce. It was an excellent consistency, not runny like some when it seems like you're eating watered down tomato soup, and not too thick and dried out. It was rich, and more on the sweet side with the full flavor of the tomatoes. I prefer spaghetti sauce that's a little sweet rather than spicy. It was better than any other restaurant's in the Alton area, and even better than some restaurants on 'The Hill' in St. Louis. I've had the toasted ravioli, garlic cheese bread, risotto balls, and Italian beef on past visits, and everything I've gotten from here has been excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive. You can't go wrong here.“
“Kid-friendliness: Came into the drive thru with two kiddos overstimulated. The girl working the drive thru took the time to play peek a boo with my kid, as the line was at a stand still.Had to ask her name , and just wanted give a Shout out to Tara Smith! Made the experience of waiting so much more bearable.“
“Have been to Tony's many times, usually very good. Our food last Friday night was lukewarm, 3 of 4 meals, one was a salad. Quietly called server over, she was quite upset and offered many things. As I said usually quite good, we didn't want anything. She finally convinced us to take a dessert to go. I appreciate how professional she was and apologetic, not her fault. We will continue to patronize Tony's because food is usually very good, but our service was exceptional. Buy local☺️“
“First two times, pizza was excellent! Third time a little soggy. Will still go back and try again! Fried green beans were really good, too. Red sauce pasta was a hit with our family as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide door, no steps. Room to maneuver. Tables, table/booth and some booths.“
“Needs updating. For sure. Was told they're remodeling the place so that's a plus. Food is pretty good and staff is great.Vegetarian options: They have you're typical vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: Kids welcomed and definitely items on the menu that even the picky little eaters will like.Parking: Typical restaurant parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it's easy for those in wheelchairs to get around.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free things, dairy free, nut free, I'm sure more just personally wasn't looking because I'm a MAN and don't eat like a little girl. Also not allergic to anything.“
“Great staff, great food, nice atmosphere... totally recommend it! (not a big fan of slot machines but understand why businesses see the need to have them). My "church ladies" often spend hours here eating lunch after Sunday service!!Parking: parking in front and out back!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of room“
