We went here twice and each time he was patient, and the second time we came here last minute and he still let my partner in for sandwhiches. Though it did create a communication barrier being so loud, the staff remained calm and friendly. To make up for it, a gentleman passed out cookies to those in line. “Reviews almost made me spend my money somewhere else, but I decided to think positive on it and I decided to make a order online and walk in as they made it and this was as they first opened up at 10:00am and I ordered a Veggie Unwich ( meaning no bread it is wrapped with lettuce ? instead of bread) and had it customized like with No cheese, No Mayo,extra avocado spread , extra onions , extra lettuce and extra etc the list goes on and I paid and walked out and ate my veggie unwich and it was made and wrapped very well and it tasted amazing no cap ?, the guy who made it I should of got his name for a shout out but he took his time and made it with love and care and I’m satisfied how my order came out Today…maybe it could be other workers that did not care with other orders prior for the not so good reviews is why the Google review is iffy but my order was exactly everything I asked for and so today I give it 5 stars ⭐️. “Always knew about the location on the south end of the mall but not sure when this location opened and when The Great Steak & Potato Co. folded but Charley's delivers a decent tasting cheesesteak.My father who was born & raised in Eastern PA from time to time will stop in at Charley's for a cheesesteak when going for his daily walk in the mall. He's very picky about his cheesesteaks but claims this place has a decent taste if not a bit pricy.I appreciate a cheesesteak here from time to time especially The Old School cheesesteak w/ Old School Philly fries, MMMM!! Since it is a chain, you'll commonly hear/read that they're not authentic or the meat's bland compared to a real Philly cheesesteak.It really is "you like what you like" and if the customer service is consistently good like any other location I've been to then it's a go-to spot.“

“Me and my girlfriend always come here even though the mundelein one is closer, they always give us more meat without asking for extra, they are super nice and never have an attitude like mundelein does. They accept coupons, the guy there has always treated us very well! Truly the best subway out there“

“Turkey titan was good. As was turkey bacon avocado wrap. Clean store. Friendly staff. Went at lunch and they got me and two people behind me thru fast. Ingredients seemed fresh. I know they don’t take the coupons but get over it reviewers. It’s not like it’s THAT expensive and i imagine the profit margin on these franchises is not great. I took a star down on atmosphere because they had some weird whale music on and it was real loud. Would have been annoying if i was dining in.“

I saw a customer who was being rude to her and despite the unacceptable behavior the customer showed, Sonya remained professional and hospitable to any problem that she presented to her. I was very impressed, and the food was absolutely delicious. It’s been so long since I last had Subway because I’ve had a bad experience with it before, but here, my view on their food had changed completely. Kudos to the people working here.
