I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a great experience!“

“We are at Devin's on February 11. i was really impressed the food was exceptional and all freshly made. The staff Esmeralda was attentive yet gave one privacy. I eaven spoke to the manager Corrina about the food and service. It was so nice to go to a restaurant and leave knowing you had a great meal and experience. Definitely give them a try. “Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

“Possibly the best fried shrimp I've ever had. You can taste the difference that these are wild Gulf shrimp; they are tender and juicy. Literally no one in Chicago is better and I've been to A LOT. And, I don't think anyone is cheaper!

Also this place is clean! Doesn't smell like oil, doesn't smell like seafood; you can trust what you're getting is clean.“

“This is a cute spot. I like the decor. The waitress was nice. We were celebrating a birthday and she was very accommodating with playing happy birthday and bringing out the slice of cake that I purchased. I didn't like the dish that I ordered (shrimp, lobster and crab pasta)! The pasta was extremely salty and the sauce was thick! I sent it back the first time and that provided another one that turned out to be just as bad. It was still super thick but just bland this time. Needless to say I didn't eat it. I just requested a to go tray and gave to a person on my way home who asked me to buy them some food. I said “I'm so glad you asked, here you !” It was my first time visiting this establishment and I won't be returning. However, I wish them nothing but the best.“

“I ordered the lamb chops called in to ask what comes with the meal was told a grilled tomato and grilled onion which did not come with mine for some strange reason $28 I should have gotten everything anyway I can say that it was seasoned well however meet was a little chewy could have been more tender perhaps cooked a bit longer rice was good restaurant smelled like fish but I guess it's a seafood restaurant so I digress not the greatest but not bad“

“Food was over all nice tasting, service was good too. Bread could have been warmer,. Baklava, fillet mignon kabab entrée and hummus were fresh and delicious. Entrées need homemade sauces and not commercial hot sauce or Sriracha sauce. My tabbouleh had gravels in it, could not eat it.“

“I always enjoy Seafood Junction. I found I prefer the baked fish, I usually go with the catfish, with steamed veggies in butter sauce with a little of all the seasonings. I always get a side of the veggies to eat as another meal. The hard boiled eggs in butter, again with all the seasonings, are good as well.“

“I’m from the coast and all my life I’ve loved sea food. My wife took me here for Father’s Day and I gotta tell you, it did not disappoint.
The wait was reasonable being a special day, they give you a cup of warm consome while you wait for your food. We had the veracruzana fillet, shrimp empanadas and a shrimp/octopus cocktail and the taste was just exquisite. It reminded me of my hometown“

“Up until now, I have never wanted to try frog legs until I tasted theirs. Took my Mom to lunch and tried one of hers which turned into a few and now I'm hooked. They were moist, juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Very fresh and well sized. Didnt too much care for the chicken wing zings. They were too salty although fresh and crispy. Also had the seafood salad which was good. Been back again for the frog legs. FYI it is CASH ONLY. Great customer service which was a plus for me. So I didn't mind coming back considering I live no where near the restaurant.“

The drinks were perfect as they were not light but not exagerated, just right. I will be returning as I have to share one of the big purse drinks!

Parking: The parking spots could be bigger and it might get difficult on super busy days but it is ok if you park on the street.“

“Went here for the first time to give it a try. Honestly speaking. The place was very clean The layout was fresh. I had the chicken and fish combo. With wings catfish and talipia. The chicken was well seasoned a bit too salty for me personally but still good. Talipia was bland but the crust was good. But the Catfish can take them very far. I was very impressed and will be back regularly for their Catfish. Yummy“
