50 Best Sandwich Shops near Kildeer

“BEST sub sandwiches, ever!!! Yeah, it’s expensive, but you get what you pay for!“

“Love that they offer so many vegan options here. I come here for specialty itmes that I can't find anywhere else. They have vegan donuts, croissants, cookies, and more. They used to have vegan tamales which were great but I haven't seen them in a while. Good place for a variety of food!“

“Best Subway I’ve ever been to. No joke! When I saw the 4.8 rating I assumed it was probably inaccurate or pumped up with fake reviews. Definitely not the case here. This is exactly how a restaurant should be ran. Extremely friendly staff, fresh food, and very clean environment.

They handled all my pain in the a$$ requests well…with a smile even. I always make sure to tip because of this.

Thanks guys! Keep up the great work and service!“

“It’s a good sandwich place. I tried a few of their sandwiches and haven’t had one I didn’t. You can also modify them to your liking. It’s usually not busy which I like because we can order and get our food quickly. This is our daughter’s favorite sandwich place (she’s 4 but knows what she likes lol).“

“This is a phenomenal location I was just recently remodeled. It’s very clean well kept and beautiful. The staff here is incredibly friendly and they always do a perfect job making my sandwiches! Never a long wait if they are very efficient.“

“Nice sandwich shop but $17 for a sandwich with very little meat? We had the #1 with mortadella, basically tasteless and again, hardly any meat. The bread is amazing! Cheese and other fixings were very good. Very nice staff and excellent service. Nice casual seating to dine in.“

“Great food. One of my favorite places best sandwich is 5 on rosemary bread.“

“We catered an event recently from the Picnic Basket and it was perfect! Lots of compliments on the food and the delivery was on time and very helpful!“

“I work for ALDI corporate, and we've had Rammys cater our team building event in Elk Grove for three years now. Their subs are AMAZING, they are a breeze to work with and so friendly. My group loves the subs, the bread is fresh and don't get me started on the turtle brownies. On a personal note, the tuna sub is superb. Im very picky about tuna salad and I loved every bite. Run, do not walk, to Rammys.“

“while they usually do great I ordered 2 of the big Kahana tubs today. I've never had one but as the sandwich and pictures show, it's not supposed to have lettuce. I had half my teeth removed a few weeks ago and lettuce is just not doable for me. highly disappointed.“

“First time I have ordered from here and I am very pleased with the food. Everything was great. I did call and told the manager over the phone.. He needed to hear that,,“

“I recently tried Subway for a quick and affordable meal and was impressed with the overall experience. The menu has a great variety of options, making it easy to find something for everyone. My sandwich was fresh, flavorful, and made exactly to my preference. The staff was helpful, and the service was smooth from start to finish. Great value and a convenient choice for any meal!“

“We have been coming here since at least 2005. Love Quiznos toasted sandwiches in general, but this is an exceptional location. Everyone is always very friendly, the restaurant is very clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, the food is made fast, and the food is *very* good.
Excellent, clean, consistent, and friendly--exactly what you want in a restaurant.“

“I would honestly go here every day for their chicken breast sandwich! It’s absolutely amazing and somehow hits every flavor you could want in a sandwich. And the price is incredible for the quality and portion. Keep it up, Dario’s! I’ll definitely be coming back often!“

“I have been meaning to check this specific spot out for quite a while now, and I am so glad I finally made it happen today. The overall environment is just incredibly pleasant and clearly well taken care of by whoever is in charge. It is a totally stress-free experience that I highly recommend!“

“Very good sandwiches 🥪 I have“

“I recommend everything ! The food is exceptional and delicious .“

“Gabby is the best, every time I come in here she treats my family and I like we are part of her family. Smilling faces and great attitudes make coming in here a pleasure, even when we are waiting in line. I should have filled one of these surveys out a few visits before.“

“Highly recommend. Food is great. Chicken Caesar Salad, 4 Cheese Sandwich, Iced Tea and the cookie tray we catered was AMAZING. Staff has been so pleasant and knowledgeable. Enjoying our fundraiser to support the students at Conant High School and McAlisters support.“

“Delicious sandwiches - I wish they open more locations near me“

“This is one of the best Subway restaurant locations to go to! They are always friendly, quick, and nice. Even when there’s a long line, they get through it pretty fast. Also, Chetna is great! She always remembers what I get on my sandwiches, which saves me a lot of time for lunch. Thank you for such great service all the time.“

“The place to go when you are shopping at Walmart if you ever get hungry, they have the best sandwiches in town. Are you especially like the subway melt which is ham, turkey, ham, bacon, and probably melted on it and then I had a lot of ingredients. I usually do it with multi Italian bread .“

“Been coming here on multiple occasions and their sandwiches are amazing. Definitely recommended if you haven’t tried it yet. Furthermore definitely having it on their wrap is great not as heavy on the bread. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“This Subway is superior to others. Very clean and extremely nice owners and employees. The food is always fresh. They care and don’t skimp on ingredients. They will even suggest other possible toppings I didn’t think about. I go out of my way to order from here.“

“I recently ordered from Potbelly and had an interesting experience that turned out quite positive! Initially, I thought I was ordering a delicious sandwich but opened my order to find it mostly meat. It was a learning moment for me, as I realized I needed to add the extras!

I also mistakenly opened a salad instead of just the sandwich, which made my bill seem a bit higher than expected. When I reached out to the manager to clarify the situation, they were incredibly understanding and took care of everything promptly.

I genuinely appreciate the excellent customer service at this location. I highly recommend Potbelly—100%! I look forward to supporting them again, and I encourage everyone else to give them a try as well. Great food and fantastic service!“

“Update:
I went a second time to try more things. I wouldn't recommend the potato pancakes. I don't know if it was an off day but the potatoes were dry, like they were left out for too long and then fried.
But the belly lox sandwich was amazing! On the salty side but that's how we like it. It came with a side of potato salad which was also amazing.

Previous review:
The food was good but not great. The bagel and cream cheese were good and standard but the pastrami hash and eggs were okay with not a lot of flavor. I'll definitely go back to try different Bagels and other items.“

“very friendly fast service, nice atmosphere and always very clean place, food is always great.“

“It was the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The chicken melted in my mouth and the bread crumbled away as I ate it. I devoured it and didn’t leave any crumbs left. It was so clean in the restaurant that I couldn’t even see my reflection on the floor the service there is the best and they are all my best friends.“

“Hard to find places that have good tasting food and macros. If your are into fitness or tracking cals or dieting this place is great. Got a half pesto chicken sandwich with extra chicken and some soup under 700cal.

The food was really good and tasted high quality. If your choosing between here and zupas, come here instead.“

“The steak and cheese sandwich was good and I get it all the time but the problem was when i used those drink fountains not the bottle one but the one you have pure drink in the cup there was something in the drink. Although I changed my mind that I will just buy a drink for the bottle.“

“This Subway location is very clean and well organized. The staff, especially the girl working there, are very kind and friendly. I really liked the service. I also noticed that they clean regularly — wiping and keeping everything neat. Great job, I will definitely come back!“

“My Dad and I eat here about every 3 weeks or maybe more. It is a great place to eat a sandwich. Pricey, but worth it! they make all the ingredients in my sandwich taste like a sub above, and they are never out of anything. Also, a lot of kids in high school work here and they do an awesome job. They are nice, patient, and they don't mess up. Well done, Jersey Mikes! You make the sandwiches a sub above!“

“Superb lunch spot with clean spacious booths suitable for conversation. Blissfully no music playing! The food was prepared and brought to our table in 5 minutes. The McAllister club was nice to split with my wife, with fresh ingredients and a sweet sauce with just a hint of spice…mostly mayo but there is something more going on there. Potato salad was fresh…..a little bland but that’s OK. Can’t beat the affordable prices.“

“It's been a few weeks since we've been here and I saw that the prices have increased, understandly. However, It truly makes a difference when you get great service which we received from Aete. He made my sandwich really well and cared about making it the way I wanted! Thanks so much for brightening my day.“

“The location off Roselle on Golf is easy to drive into and out; customer service was great as I was greeted when I walked in; Server gave me detailed meat selection and suggestions; server who finished sandwiches had a good sense of humor; and manager was cool & calm when I goofed up with my discount.
Sandwiches were delicious, fresh with plenty of meats and cheese. It's like ordering at a deli!“

“hey we eat Subway a lot. This one is not only superior--it rocks! Always. maybe its the owner who is usually there, or the professional staff that seems to rarely change, but the Quality is way, way better than any other sandwich joint--seriously. NOTE --see my other , negative Subway review for comparison“

“Not only is the food great but the staff here is fantastic!!!“

“Great food good service and friendly customer service. Clean place“

“I had a wonderful experience at Subway. The gentleman who helped me was extremely kind, patient, and professional throughout my visit. He took the time to make sure everything was prepared exactly the way I wanted, and his positive attitude truly made a difference.

It’s always refreshing to receive such friendly customer service from someone who genuinely cares about helping people. The restaurant was welcoming, the service was fast, and the overall experience was excellent.

Thank you for the great service, your kindness and helpfulness did not go unnoticed. I truly appreciate the effort and dedication. Keep up the amazing work!“

“had a great experience at this Subway location. The two Mexican girls working there were amazing — very friendly, always smiling, and they made the sandwich with real professionalism and care. Honestly, I’ve never seen service like this at Subway before. The owner is very lucky to have such hardworking and positive employees!“

“Incredible experience from start to finish. The food was promptly prepared, organized well, and all supplies were provided. The entire event went perfectly and everything tasted amazing. It was a HUGE hit with everyone. Highly recommend FoodBarz and especially Reena for taking care of organizing everything. Simply exceptional! Special "Thank you" to Javier, Martin, and Lucy for preparing and packaging of all the food and supplies. You guys were amazing! Our BEST event thus far.“

“I stopped by this location this evening & purchased a number 4 w cheese & I proceeded to talk w the manager about feeding a homeless man I just saw and she donated some bread for me to give to him!! I was so touched by her. More people should be open to blessing others!! Thank You so much!!“

“Having visited many subways over the years, this Subway stood out. Poornima helped me get the veggie patty sandwich and it was great to see how neatly she arranged the toppings on my sandwich. She was kind and courteous while offering me to wait while the soup was getting heated up. Highly recommend this Subway!“

“My go to is their Italian herb and cheese chicken bacon and ranch footlong. With MissVickie’s jalapeño chips. I also recommend their the ultimate BMT, BLT, rotisserie style chicken and sweet onion teriyaki. For cookies I recommend their Macadamia nut, Raspberry cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies.“

“I have always been impressed with the idea of Subway compared to other sub places and thought I would comment on the store. They did a great job, taking my order and smiling and treating me nicely. I appreciate subways in general because you can add whatever ingredients you would like as well as toast it and change all sorts of things about it unlike Jimmy John’s. And your prices are a bit more affordable than the average, but still not cheap. Thanks for being the great place you are.“

“Terrific sandwiches! Staff are so patient when serving our group of 11 kids and two adults! Much better than JJs!! Definitely go again! Some of the kids got the Mac and cheese which was delicious.“

“Shiva was so kind in helping my son with his perfect sandwich! He unpacked his sandwich to heat it up even though it was already packed up and ready to go. He wasn’t put out with the annoying step and was happy to help. I will absolutely come back to this location.“

“Our first time to these location Enjoyed it Will go back“
