“The food here is FANTASTIC. We ordered the stuffed banana peppers, coconut shrimp, salmon that’s on corn tamale cake (oh my goodness), seafood linguine, and lobster mac n cheese. “So today I had a friend in from out of town and we topped off our afternoon with a visit to Miski Bakery. I was dying to try the alfajores, and they did not disappoint! The very delicate morsels melted in our mouth, and the creamy luscious dollop of dulce de leche caramel was a perfect pairing. In addition we tried the Milhojas/Napoleons in two flavors the Lucuma pastry creme and also the dulce de leche. A thousand layers is correct, these were amazingly tall, crispy and filled with air, both were delicious but the Lucuma(a Peruvian fruit) pastry creme was the standout. It had such a delightful delicate flavor I had never tasted previously. After speaking with Carmen the owner I asked whether or not they ever carried Turrón de doñja Pepa. She just happened to have some freshly baked sitting on the tray behind the counter, but alas it was still awaiting its filling. This gives me a great reason to return and indulge in that special treat. It is prepared every other week. The service was warm and friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood you shouldn't miss out on. I will be returning often.“

“Eli's Cheesecake is hands down one of the best places for cheesecake. I've been here a couple of times, and it never disappoints. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and they have a huge selection of cheesecakes to choose from. I usually go for the sampler so I can try a few different flavors, and the tiramisu is another one of my favorites. Everything is fresh, rich, and delicious. Love this place and will definitely keep coming back!“

“Words cannot give this food justice! I’ve been in the city since 2014 searching for my go-to Thai spot and I FINALLY found it last night after my friend suggested it. The service and friendliness of the staff were top tier and every dish we had was out of this world. What a gem of a place. The flavors of the pad thai were unmatched, and don’t even get me started on the custard taiyaki with ice cream. This chef’s talent is unmatched. “Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.

We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.

We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.

“Their thin crust meat lovers pizza is good. the crust has a slight crunch and is a bit doughy for thin crust.
Their classic cheese slice is great as well. The flavors all blend really well and is a well rounded classic cheese slice.
Their cheese fries are exactly what you would expect. It looks and tastes like they hand cut real potatoes and double fry them. The fires are soft and mushy, no crunch. The sauce is the same cheese sauce you would expect at any pizza place.

“Stopped by Brew Brew and enjoyed the food more than the coffee. The everything bagel with chipotle fig cream cheese was delicious and a unique combination that worked really well.

I also ordered the Aztec mocha. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t a standout for me. The drink had a very milk-forward flavor, a somewhat grainy texture, and not much espresso flavor coming through. Still drinkable, just not something I’d order again.

Overall, the bagel alone made the visit worthwhile, and I’d be interested in trying other menu items in the future.“

“This is the best place to eat in Chicago O’Hare T5. Their bowls and wraps are all healthy, full of protein and good ingredients, and taste delicious. Pricing is also a plus as the average price is around $13 or less which is less than a quarter pounder meal at Mc Donald’s. The staff are all knowledgeable and friendly and the whole interaction was a pleasure.“
