“BLUF: Delicious BBQ, served up fast with a good atmosphere.-had the Brisket Burnt ends… very very delicious!-Large menu, but I’ve only gotten the burnt ends every time I’ve come here, too good!-nice atmosphere with good music-Bottled and canned beer and wine available-you order your food at a counter and they bring your food to your tableReally enjoy this place, if you like meat, eat here!!“

“I tried the Fire & Grill yesterday for take out order. I ordered 6-piece wings and fries in both Grilled and fried. I can say they were equally very good. Nice size and done just right. Juicy and good flavor with plenty of tasty fries. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They informed me that the grilled wings only 4 were ready and I could wait a few minutes for the other two but offered to give me a leg and thigh in its place if I did not want to wait. I took them up on the offer and the grilled leg and thigh was also very good. I will be ordering from here again. The only thing I would say is that I did not see a bathroom available for those that want to dine in and wash your hands afterwards.“

“My first experience was great. We had a large party of 17. The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing. They even turned on music to sing Happy Birthday to my mother for her 70th birthday. It was a great experience for us all. We’ll definitely be back. Oh, and the fire show was something to see!“

“The best bbq around hands down. Super Smokey flavor and smoked to perfection. My only gripes was you have to order at the counter and they call your name. I stalled the line a bit cause I didn’t know the menu but it’s not that difficult to do either. I’m guessing less staff = lower prices and I didn’t think it was crazy expensive, it’s decent. Second gripe was the paper towels in the center of the table, should be off to the side but no biggey, easy work around. Great place though! I’ll be back.“

“Went to Easter brunch at Chucks the Darien location. Check in experience was a seemingly disorganized but the STAFF AND FOOD made up for it. Everything that me and my family ate was fantastic!! Absolutely delicious! Will definitely be back!“

Great service— perhaps due to time of day and it not being busy— but the servers were constantly asking/making sure I had enough side dishes and/or if I needed anything else.My meal came with refillable tea which was very nice. I got the bulgogi bento box and it was really delicious and worth the money for everything I got on my plate. I would love to try some of their other staple dishes as well.The vibe of the place was nice; they had k-pop music playing and a very clean aesthetic. I’ll def add this restaurant to my rotating list of staple places to eat at.“

“We stopped at Pierce Tavern for lunch and had a great experience! The service was great throughout our visit and the wait staff were very attentive and friendly. A gentleman even came around with a beer tasting! The food was all delicious, we tried the cauliflower bites app, salad with goat cheese and brisket grilled cheese. Everything was so good! They have a large selection of cocktails, all which sound delicious, and a very extensive menu. It’s a fun place to stop at for drinks, dinner or lunch. We were very happy with our experience! “Uncle Bub’s was such a fantastic caterer for our wedding. They helped with setting up all linens, centerpieces, chargers, menus, signs, and any and all decor we needed for the event. They got there right on time, knew exactly what they needed to do and were just so helpful throughout the whole event. They were cleaned up on time and made sure everyone was served and taken care of the whole time. Absolutely no complaints from any of our guests and only great compliments on both the food and service.Not only was their day of service fantastic, but the planning process with them was very smooth. Easy to contact, flexible with tastings and conversations on weekends when we had more availability. “Real authentic Texas style bbq in IL? Who would of thought! Brisket was tender and flavorful, pork belly aka meat candy was so good! Finally a place who actually makes it and does it right. Tried the other bbq places around the Chicago area and while they are good; Matt’s Barbecue does it the true texas style way. Did I mention they have Texas Twinkies? “Attended BBQ 101 presentation at Beach Ave. Juan and Chris, the owners, are very knowledgeable, and they both shared the style in which they prepare and cook for the restaurant. The conversation and interaction with all of us was informative and funny throughout. We were also served to sample the finished foods they were demonstrated. Along with the food, several beers and soft drinks were also available to sample. If you enjoy BBQ and smoking meats and poultry, I would highly recommend attending this event. “A really great little place. My go-to for grilled burgers. If I had to say anything negative, maybe the sides of feta are a little small for the price. But I can always get that at the grocery store.It's somewhat greasy, good food when you have a taste for it.Dietary restrictions: I have a fish allergy, and I've never had a reaction from any of the food. So they do a good job keeping the fish/shrimp separate.“

I'm only keeping it at a 4/5 stars because we waited for almost an hour for our food. The waitress was great and everything about it was great! “Came for the rave reviews about their dim sum and they didn't disappoint. Food was hot, fresh, tasty, good portions and staff was very attentive. Really have to hand it to the chefs. Although decor is nice, they really should've spent more time or money in hiring quality painters and that includes the restrooms. “We got a 16” pepperoni pizza and breaded zucchini. The total with tax and small tip was $33. Not bad and on par with other area pizza joints. This pizza was pretty good. Enough cheese and each slice had at least 1-2 pieces of pepperoni on it. The sauce was also pretty good. The only thing I didn’t like was the crust. Well it was don’t perfectly, it seems just a little chewy. But no where near enough where I wouldn’t get it again. I would recommend Duncan and Dada’s and would actually get the pizza again. My wife loves the breaded zucchini. The pieces were big, unlike other area places where it’s small pieces and all you get is breading. She said it’s her favorite breaded zucchini.We will definitely be back.Parking: Park in the front of the building I’m for easy access to pick up food. If you want to bowl, park in the back.“

“First time coming here and the atmosphere is great. Lots of stuff to look at on the walls that date way back. The service was outstanding, our waitress was very attentive and sweet. The food was delicious, I had the brisket grilled cheese and it was very flavorful. My husband had the Pit Plater with brisket and he said it was very delicious. I was a bit bummed about the coleslaw, it had no flavor and was very dry. We were also a bit bummed they didn't have cornbread on the menu. Overall I would definitely recommend ?“

We loved the Brisket which is moist and has a bit of delicious fat, the pulled pork is not dry but flavorful and turkey slices are just ok -maybe lacking flavor which can be dressed up with a choice of sauce.The two slices of bread could be replaced by the traditional corn bread .The coleslaw was freshly made and yum! We found the mac & cheese to be bland and is a surprise because other patrons complained about this item and feedback didn’t seem to help! The triple chocolate cake is tasty but not moist enough so it crumbles.We paid $34 and was enough for two persons.Very pleasant staff will return on Tuesdays !“
