“The Inside Scoop has the best Hot Fudge Sundaes in Crystal Lake! Although they have a variety of ice cream selections, I love the vanilla ice cream, it tastes homemade. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend stopping in!“

“I have updated my review to 5 stars because they are one of the few fast food restaurants that has a good tasting gluten free hamburger bun.
Dietary restrictions: Though they have gluten free buns, they do not have designated gluten free cooking stations. I am not hypersensitive to gluten so I can eat their burgers and grilled chicken without adverse reactions.“

“We have been using them for a while now every year for our nursing facilities. Our company pays for everyone's ice-cream and shaved ice for our staff, residents and their families. We have had nothing, but great experiences with them. We get our receipts emailed to us right away. The workers have always been kind and provide good service. It's always a big hit for our buildings and everyone looks forward to it every year!“

“Usually great service and people, but you guys missed the mark tonight. The delivery person outside tried to give me at least 3 different orders that weren’t ours, and when we got home the chicken nuggets were missing the sauce, and the chili was missing the toppings and sour cream. Not a great outing tonight.“
“Our Agility Club RACE was Celebrating 20 years this weekend and we were not able to have our Ice Cream Social as Planned due to COVID-19, the owner/manager at this Dairy Queen worked with us to make it happen for our exhibitors. “My family of six ate at Culvers in McHenry on Tuesday, Dec 31 about 1:30. We were greeted with a pleasant hello. The lady who took our order got it right and was pleasant.Since were a group of 6, I figured it would take a little longer to get our order. That wasn't the case. Not only did the order come quickly, but is also accurate. That was wonderful! When we were nearing the end of our meal, a gentleman, (Jude, I believe) can around with free samples of the flavor of the day (Mint explosion). Never has that happened at Colvers to me in the many times I eat at different Culvers! What a nice touch! Upon leaving, we got a cheery Thank you, have a great day and happy new year. I wish I lived a little closer because Culvers in McHenry would definitely be my go to place. Thank you for good food and the kindness you all showed.“

“I was very happy with the employees that worked there, but i gave it a one-star for the food. I was very disappointed in the twist cone I received. It was like eating whipped cream. Don't get me wrong, I like whipped cream but not as a cone. The reason why it was like this is because the machine wasn't calibrated correctly in the beginning, or they ran out of mix, and when they added more mix. And then the machine when out of calibration. I know this because I worked in the food industry for 35 years.“

“McDonalds is getting way overpriced and food is....ok at best. Thought I'd try Culvers in FRG. Was NOT dissapointed! For about the same price you get a DELICIOUS, HOT, LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE burger, huge portion of hot crispy fat fries and a soft drink of your choice! I'm not one to take pictures of my food, but I did! It was a masterpiece! Loved it!“

“The Lakemoor location is great. The employees are always friendly. The cones are still as delicious as they were way back when I was young. They don’t skimp on the ice cream. Go, get an Original Rainbow cone. You will not be disappointed. Yum.?“
