“We stopped at this place for lunch recently. Very good food and fast service. Everything is reasonably priced compared to other hotdog places. Portions are very generous and fries are perfectly crispy. Cheese sauce on side was great and not watery, gyro was perfect and grilled chicken sandwich was very juicy. Would highly recommend it and will definitely be back“
“One of my favorite places to go when I'm near Lake Bluff. The people that work here are an absolute delight and the food is delicious. So many great options and at a great price.Parking: Parking lot is a bit small, but there are some other spots across the streetKid-friendliness: Menu is friendly for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Possible, but configuration of doors may make it a bit challenging“
“Man when I say this food is beyond amazing it is. The mango habanero sauce is amazing better than any you guys will ever taste. The wings Better that than bdubs and wings stop the only bad thing is they close at night when the munchies hit. 10/10 for sure“
“We’ve been here a few times, their burgers are very delicious. The fries are also yummy! Their customer service is great, very kind & helpful. If you like spicy you have to try El Diablo burger it’s very delicious & of course spicy! The Black Widow with added egg is also very good- it’s sweet.“
“I grew up in Chicago and moved up north several years ago and Kobi's by far is the closest I've found to the traditional Maxwell Street polish and the Maxwell Street pork chop sandwich. You walk in and you're treated like you've been a customer for years. So if you have a taste for Maxwell Street-style food and you're up in Lake County Definitely stop in...“
“this is the absolute best pizza shop from anywhere local, and there actually very reasonably priced..! i really recommend that you give them a try at least ?Vegetarian options: yes they have gluten free pizzaParking: the parking lot, i think is actually very easy so it’s a quick in/outKid-friendliness: yesWheelchair accessibility: yes“

“Run over to this little spot on Bank Lane, a side street in the center of town, for a perfectly presented Chicago Style hot dog. Delicious! The seeded bun, the soft boiled dog, impeccably chosen toppings-- superb! I really loved the water canister-- a simply beautiful "thing" that delighted me! I saw a Not-So-Sloppy Joe coming out and I'm coming back for that! It's a friendly clean place. The owner said they've been around since 1963! Coming from a town in Ohio that has a famous place called The Hot Dog Shop, well, I'm not easy to please in this department-- but today I got WOWED! I'll be back for the homemade soups (the mom makes these I'm told) and today it is Wedding Soup and Tomato Soup. Lots of others good choices on the menu.“
“Incredible customer service! Christine + Anthony were working today and gave me the full red carpet treatment (first time ever eating Mochinuts!). Mochnuts are an incredible novelty we just discovered! (Imagine a chewy donut). Highly recommend pairing food with the refreshers!! So as long as I'm in the area I'm probably going to be a weekly or bi-weekly return customer.“
“I have been meaning to try Dear Franks for some time and I am glad I finally did. I ordered the #5 Italian Sausage combo meal with some sweet peppers and it was delicious. And it came with a ton of fries. I ordered the Dear Franks Famous Cheddar Cheese to go with my fries and I highly recommend that. Yum! My only complaint with it was that it was over $15 for the combo meal (not counting the cheddar cheese) which seemed a bit high to me. My wife ordered the #6 Cheeseburger combo meal and it was also very good. My kids each ordered the hotdogs and reported back that they were tasty. I was kind of surprised how large it was inside. For some reason, I thought it was going to be much smaller. But there was plenty of tables. The staff behind the counter was very friendly and the restaurant seemed clean. Even though we walked, I noticed there was a good amount of parking which is nice.“
“I got recommended to come here by one of my old co workers. Told me if I wanted a good beef sandwich to come here. Ever since I never looked back. I’ve taken my daughter here. Best beef sandwiches. And the Créame soda barqs is amazing also. Hard to find. Def going back again. I think it’s like 6th time there.“
“Owner is sooo awesome n friendly. I hadn't been there in months n he remembered my named n took time to talk to myself n friend Jeff. Food was beyond awesome! This is place to go if u want a great beef sandwich w the cheese n sweet peppers! Very delicious ?!“
“I’ve gone here at least once a year since like, forever, and it’s always great food, great service. Happy to support a good small business. Yes prices have increased, but so has gas, rent, your groceries, and more. It’s inflation people. Will always continue going here! The fries are my “
“I went in the drive thru so I can't say anything about the atmosphere. What I can say is that Portillos always had good food; I get hot dogs w/ everything on them (no peppers) and cheese fries. The line moved pretty quick and the workers were friendly. I would go again“
“Not too many hot chicks working here but that’s fine. The food was really good. The claw machine was broken so if you were gonna go there for just that don’t. This is completely irrelevant but Im a little bit hunger over today. Gonna eat some Korean and just take it easy tonight.“
“Kind of expensive. Like $10 for cheapest burger they have, and no drive threw. But it is a nice greasy yummy burger. Oh and i forgot to get the CAJUN FRIES!!! Oh man! Its only 5 guys and meatheads that have CAJUN FRIES ? 5 guys is way closer though. Gotta get my CAJUN fix!!! I'll be back!!!Oh and they got free peanuts!!! Did u hear that!?!? FREE FOOD!!! FREE PEANUTS ? ???“
“Family-owned, old school Chicago lunch spot. Don't be fooled by the location in a strip mall. The owners take your order on a pad of paper and ring you up on a 1990s cash register. Menu is everything you'd expect from a Chicago burger/dog/italian beef spot. Greasy and delicious. If you're in the mood, this place hits the spot. A shame they are only open for lunch!“
“First off the service was great. They were very nice people. There are more tables than you'd expect but I imagine at busytimes might be more of a take out destination. And it seemed clean and bright inside which is good. The best food was the burger, juicy...it was a good solid burger. Kids weren't as big fans of the chicken gyro (would've gotten the real gyro but there wasn't much left, which probably means it's popular, when I got there, so would try that in the future). Fries were decent. They make the shakes from scratch (just probably need to clean the blenders (and/or ice cream scoopers) more btw uses as the plain chocolate shake had a strong minty note (also I wasn't paying attention but chocolate shakes gotta still have added choc syrup, I dunno if it did, which prolly means no). Oh and gotta use fresh bananas for banana shakes, syrup or powder, to quote the bard Mando, just isn't the way. And that might be my biggest gripe with an otherwise really solid diner-like joint.“
“Still tasts the same. I use to go to the Original Hoagie Hut when I was in grade school. Service isn't fast but that is because it's made to order. But always worth the wait. Only thing that bugs be is, I wish the hours were a bit different. I have made trips there based on their Google hours posted to find out they closed early. No sign nothing. As a person that works customer service I would suggest updating your hours. It has happened to me a few times so either they close early often or their hours really are not correct on Google. I know alotnof businesses have changes their hours since covid and have shortened them but I think it should be changed in Google website etc. Gas isn't cheap. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would dislike driving 30+ minutes out to find out your closed.“
“Max's Dawg House is an iconic place in Libertyville. The people there are amazing and the food is even better. Fantastic spicy sausage, amazing charred cheese dog and one of the best gyros anywhere. Oh, and by the way, freshly cut fries. Love this place.“
