“I just got a greek chicken dinner and a beef sandwich from here. The greek chicken dinner (greek salad / chicken / greek potatoes) was outstanding, and so was the beef, but beef is a little easier. The guy who owns it is real cool guy too. Prices were reasonable; portions were good. I'll go back for sure.“

“Yesterday was my first time visiting this location, and overall I had a really good experience 😊 The food was super delicious and full of flavor, and the portions were very generous - definitely more than enough to feel satisfied 🍽️👌 I’ll absolutely be coming back again!

One small thing that could be improved is clearer signage. There wasn’t anything indicating that you can seat yourself, so I assumed I needed to order at the counter and wait for a number 🤔 Turns out I was completely wrong, and for a moment I thought I was about to get scolded 😅 The lady at the counter helped fix my order and guided me, and then I was able to sit down.

Aside from that little confusion, everything else was great, and I still really enjoyed my visit 🙌✨“

“Digos tacos is a neighborhood gem. This place has changed owners several times while living here and I recently went a few times and was not disappointed. Their meat is flavorful, their micheladas are bomb, and the quesabirria tacos are delicious. The food is well priced & the owners/chefs even made my golden retriever a plain carne asada taco and gave her a water bowl. 10/10“

“I’ve been driving past Taco Boom Truck for what feels like forever, always catching a whiff of grilled meat or seeing a small line of people and thinking, “One day I’ll stop.” Well, I finally did, and man, I should’ve done it way sooner.

It’s a simple setup, parked off the road, colorful, and always smelling amazing. People were hanging out, eating, and the service was quick and friendly. The guy at the window even gave me some salsa tips when I told him it was my first time.

I went with two carne asada tacos. No exaggeration, the meat was so tender and juicy, with this really nice char on the edges. You could taste the seasoning in every bite, nothing overpowering, just that good mix of garlic, citrus, and smoky flavor. The tortillas were warm, soft but sturdy enough to hold everything together (no taco explosions, which is always a win).

The green salsa? Wild. It started off kind of mild, then hit with this spicy, peppery kick that crept up in the best way. It had some creamy avocado vibes too, which made it super addictive. Honestly, I kept dipping even after I ran out of taco.

If you’re in the mood for solid tacos that hit all the right notes, Taco Boom is 100% worth the stop. I already know I’ll be back.“

“Could be a little cleaner on the counter and table tops but it was lunch time busy. Had the Specials of the Day: Lomo Burrito ($9.99) and Carnitas Tacos ($2.99) and reg price Al Pastor Taco ($3.99). The chucks of carnitas need to be smaller, they were way too big for tacos. The quality of food though was consistently just as good as their other locations. The Al Pastor was especially tasty carved off the gyros like spit.“

“The food at Fuego is absolutely amazing. I love their Tortilla soup. The homemade guacamole is good enough to be its own food group! Their staff are some of the friendliest I've ever encountered.

We were fortunate enough to go in on one of their Thursday night karaoke nights with All Mixed Up Entertainment. The sound was incredible and the singers were very talented. Even our waitresses, L and Pricila, got up to sing their hearts out. Lots of fun. We will definitely be back!“

Slightly pricey at $4/taco but worth it. Inside was nice, a bit dark, and more like long lunch tables than small 2-4 tops. Definitely going back again for the pork tacos. Great food!“

“My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. “This place was so good! My boyfriend, baby, and I came here to dine in yesterday and the food was phenomenal. We were looking for queso barria tacos on google and they showed up. The server was awesome. They didn’t have a kids menu but I asked if they can do rice and eggs for the baby and they did just that he loved his meal as well! The cook even came to talk to us for a bit which I thought was pretty cool…very personalable! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for your service 😁“

The tacos were absolutely delicious and full of flavor, but honestly the rooftop view might’ve made the experience even better. Sitting above the Blue Line tracks with a full view of the Chicago skyline felt so cinematic — especially on a sunny day.

The combination of great food, city views, trains passing by, and the colorful murals around the neighborhood made this feel like such a perfect Chicago spot. Easily one of my favorite rooftop experiences in the city.“
