“I love both places. The chicken sausage is the best and all that cheese. I love the Markham spot, but once I invited a friend and her two young daughters to join me. We sat at one of the two tables to have drinks while we waited. Before we knew it, we ended up eating dinner there!! It is great but a bit small to bring kids for dinner. Now, Mickey, the owner, who is wonderful, has a second Dream’s in Calumet Park! It’s a comfortable restaurant and the same great pizza! Yay!“

“I come from an Italian family so love the food, but put Gatto’s up there as one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to!!! I had the chicken Milano and my partner had the carbonara and both were fabulous!! Great job on the meal, our waiter was amazing, he remembered all our drinks which were also delicious, and the whole night was a great one! Best Italian beef I've had in a long time. Maybe ever. No lie. The frickin gravy/dip on the side is elite.

My daughter had the BBQ pork sandwich, which she let me try, and *that* was one of the best BBQ pork sandwiches I've ever had, too.

“If ever there was a place which resonates the Billy Joel song “Scenes from an Italian restaurant “ This place is IT! Visited for the first time on 2/14/26. The aroma as we entered was so inviting. Met the owners/ daughter and mom. So very sweet and funny too. Our server was Candy. She was working very hard on a busy Valentine’s Day. I had the lasagna and I can honestly say it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life! The ricotta filling was so whipped and light. It was just delightful and so delicious. The bomba ice cream was scrumptious! Cannot wait to return to this gem of a restaurant!! 🇮🇹“

“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“I ordered steak n shrimp pasta and after a 45 min drive to pick up up then 45 back home I started eating and notice the steak wasn't steak from a grill. Contacted Manager and told her I have video n pics of this food and few people says the same that it wasn't steak.“

“Their pizza is delicious. My family loves pizza. We have tried many is the surrounding area and nothing compares to Guardi's. It has become a staple for take out in my house. Their service is great (I have never arrived and had to wait for my order) and the employees have always been extremely friendly and sufficient. It's worth giving them a try.“

“The staff weren't that nice, the food didn't live up the the Barraco's name, but it wasn't a terrible experience. If the staff didn't hand us smudged glasses and forks with food stains, had been more like waiters who entertain guests rather than serve food, and a pizza that seemed not to be baked well and had a grainy crust, it would be five star dinning I experience. I had no real problem here, but it hadn't lived up the name.“

“So me and my daughter and grandchildren were supposed to go to longhorn steakhouse but the wait time to get a table was over an hour long. It was on a Saturday night and everything was pretty much crowded and wait time rediculous. So we usually go to the Barracos in evergreen Park but we were in the Orland neighborhood so decided to get dinner out there. I am so glad we went to Barracos our here it was so nice the food was delicious the drinks were amazing and the waitress was outstanding she made sure that our glasses were filled with soda if a refill was needed and came back to see if we needed anything else. Also the food was so delicious my son in law wanted us to bring him back a pizza so we got carry out food to take home. I will definitely be coming back to this location again service was excellent ❤️“

“1st time being here and everything was A+! We came in and sat at the bar while our food was being freshly made. Awesome and Friendly staff! Enjoyed a little bit of the game on tv and had some cheese fries while we waited with our drinks. I definitely want to go back and try more on the menu! “Growing up in the Chicago area, especially on the south side, you EXPECT local pizza joints to be good. Lots of places that don't primarily sell pizza still have better pizza that you get in other parts of the country.

Though it's been around for a long time, as have I, I'd never tried Rosangela's prior to this time, and I'm here to say that I am a believer.

I tried introducing a colleague of mine to chicago pizza at a couple other places, and they did not impress him... Rosangela's did.

Just a medium special and a drink, but I will tell you that it's some of the best tavern style things crust pizza you'll ever have.

It's as good as your favorite place, and likely better.

It’s been over 11 years later since I lived in worth but I always remember this place . Simple and cheap pizza . I took the 25 minute drive to the little village of worth to get ohboys . Drove back ( surprised I didn’t rip open the pizza bag on the drive home ) and it’s still the great taste like the good ol days . Got a shirt along with my purchase .
