“I love both places. The chicken sausage is the best and all that cheese. I love the Markham spot, but once I invited a friend and her two young daughters to join me. We sat at one of the two tables to have drinks while we waited. Before we knew it, we ended up eating dinner there!! It is great but a bit small to bring kids for dinner. Now, Mickey, the owner, who is wonderful, has a second Dream’s in Calumet Park! It’s a comfortable restaurant and the same great pizza! Yay!“

“I come from an Italian family so love the food, but put Gatto’s up there as one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to!!! I had the chicken Milano and my partner had the carbonara and both were fabulous!! Great job on the meal, our waiter was amazing, he remembered all our drinks which were also delicious, and the whole night was a great one! Met the owners/ daughter and mom. So very sweet and funny too. Our server was Candy. She was working very hard on a busy Valentine’s Day. I had the lasagna and I can honestly say it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life! The ricotta filling was so whipped and light. It was just delightful and so delicious. The bomba ice cream was scrumptious! Cannot wait to return to this gem of a restaurant!! 🇮🇹“

“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . “I ordered steak n shrimp pasta and after a 45 min drive to pick up up then 45 back home I started eating and notice the steak wasn't steak from a grill. Contacted Manager and told her I have video n pics of this food and few people says the same that it wasn't steak.“

“On 05/29/2026, I had dinner with some friends who recommended Palermo’s on 95th. I’ve always wanted to try it, and I’m glad I finally did—it did not disappoint.
The food was excellent, and the service matched it. Everything came out great, and the staff was attentive and welcoming throughout the visit. It was an all-around enjoyable experience, and I would definitely go back again.
The only minor downside was the parking, which can be a bit tight, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault.
Overall, a great spot with amazing food and service—highly recommend.“

“I stopped by to get two slices of pizza. I think it’s really nice that the slices include two slices and they are of great size. My issue is that you stacked them on top of each other with a piece of paper in the middle and the bottom slice gets absorbed into the paper and trying to eat the bottom slice you end up having stuck paper all into the Cheese itself. My suggestion is to either use aluminum foil or a larger container where you can put them side-by-side because other than that, this would’ve been a five star experience.“

“My experience, at Pop's Italian Beef Restaurant, has all ways been a pleasant one. The food there is very delicious and homemade fresh. We bought our your grand twins there, at the time they were 6yrs. old, a few years ago, and they still ask about coming back. The staff treated them so well and were so impressed with their young mannerisms, and said to us, to bring them back at anytime. Yesterday, was our first time back, since we'd brought them 2years ago, and still, it was a great experience.“

I assumed the wings would be fried but they were baked not a big fan of baked wings. The pizza was excellent and I would definitely come back for that alone. I’m not a big fan of deep dish but based off the taste of the thin crust pizza I’m definitely going to have to try that next time.“

“Growing up in the Chicago area, especially on the south side, you EXPECT local pizza joints to be good. Lots of places that don't primarily sell pizza still have better pizza that you get in other parts of the country.

Though it's been around for a long time, as have I, I'd never tried Rosangela's prior to this time, and I'm here to say that I am a believer.

I tried introducing a colleague of mine to chicago pizza at a couple other places, and they did not impress him... Rosangela's did.

Just a medium special and a drink, but I will tell you that it's some of the best tavern style things crust pizza you'll ever have.

It's as good as your favorite place, and likely better.
