No obstante, a las 9:30 pm ya se estaba anunciando el "último llamado" para bebidas alcohólicas. Además, durante mi estancia, fui testigo de cómo dos familias fueron rechazadas para cenar por el mismo motivo: el restaurante estaba cerrando antes de tiempo debido a "la falta de clientes". Entiendo que puedan surgir situaciones operativas, pero considero que este tipo de decisiones impacta negativamente en la experiencia de sus clientes. Cuando se anuncia un horario de cierre, los clientes planeamos nuestras visitas en base a esa información. De no ser posible mantener el horario anunciado, sería más transparente ajustarlo oficialmente en sus plataformas para que las personas puedan planear con anticipación y, en caso necesario, optar por otras opciones. Por último, quiero mencionar que esta inconformidad fue compartida con nuestra mesera, quien nos escuchó con amabilidad. Sin embargo, creo que esta situación requiere un ajuste desde la gerencia para evitar malentendidos en el futuro. Agradezco de antemano su atención a esta situación y espero que se tomen las medidas necesarias para garantizar que su excelente servicio sea consistente en todos los aspectos. It looks small from the outside, but it’s enormous in flavor! It’s a very cute and nicely decorated place. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. But the food… it rocks! We ordered the Orden de Quesobirria and a Carne en su Jugo and a Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus water) and a Horchata (rice water). The Carne stew was delicious! So many levels of flavors. “I’ve been there twice and plan on going more. The food is authentically delicious. If you go you have to try the Birria Egg Rolls,they are delicious. Also I must say even their rice is delicious. While you are there you may want to try their Margaritas. You can’t go wrong EVERYTHING is sinfully delicious.“

“Honestly, best fish tacos I have ever had. This is my second time coming and it did not disappoint. My wife enjoyed her steak and Al pastor taco combo. I had the two fish (grilled) taco combo and it tasted even better the second time. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, and even better, the service and staff were nothing but fantastic. I have always seen this place in passing and it always caught my attention, since I had it, I haven’t found any other fish tacos that I have enjoyed as much as this place. The price for the two of us, including drinks, was $45. Pricey but fare portions and we did not leave with an empty stomach. I highly highly recommend at least trying the steak and fish tacos.“

“Me and the wife had dinner her for our anniversary. Nice atmosphere. Nice Latin music to match. Brussel sprout appetizer was superb. I had a wood fired ribeye steak. It was good but I had to say I was expecting it to be better. My wife had the Pescado(fish fillet) and she said it was good as well. I don’t trust my wife much when it comes to fancy food cuz she’s a picky eater and is more a burger, pork chop or fish fry kind of gal. Overall it was a very nice dinner for both of us and wouldn’t mind coming here again.“

“Don’t skip on this place! This restaurant is very very good and underrated. Service and food is amazing. Lady that was serving us explained it was her and her family’s business and they are extremely kind and accommodating. It is easily one of our favorite spots. Highly recommend. “Amazing tacos! Heard the owner came from Atotonilco Taqueria, so I knew I had to try it and I’m glad I did! Carne was nice and soft, salsa spicy and flavorful, and I asked for the tortilla crispy and it was perfect! And the tacos survived an hour drive home, so I can only imagine how they would taste fresh!“

“DELICIOUS! The best chilaquiles in Chicago without a doubt. I'm from CDMX and they are the only ones who know Mexico. The sauce is spicy, the cream is liquid, the jerky melts in your mouth, all very greasy just like in the city haha.
If you miss Mexico or have never been and want to know what good chilaquiles taste like, this is the right place.

“Last week I was on my way to take my son for a haircut and decided to stop and eat here. It was my first time. Service was great and food delicious. I was not having a good day but tried my best to not show it. As I'm eating I saw a man come in. Eat by himself and then left. My surprise when I went to go pay. This man had paid for my food. Who ever it was Thank you so much if this is ever read. That was a beautiful gesture and completely made my day. I got my son his haircut and took him for some ice cream afterwards. The burrito bowl I ordered was loaded with well-seasoned meat and had all the amazing flavors I expected from a Mexican restaurant. My wife tried a couple of tacos, one with Asada and the other was Al Pastor, which were both incredibly fresh and delicious. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning.“

Would have loved to see an interior decor that’s less fast-casual (I.e. mostly white walls, bright lights, millennial grey wood furnishings, big flat screen TVs playing MMA) and leans more into the overlapping rich and warm vibrant aesthetics of Mexico and India.
