“Really enjoyed the food and service. Sadey was extremely accommodating, friendly and made for a really great experience for our family dinner. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and so kind to our kids. The deep dish is the best of all Chicago deep dish!“
“We went Easter Morning for brunch and it was quite busy. The staff were not affected by the crowd, they were happy and very pleasant. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend dining here. I know we will be back next time we are in Chicago ❤️“
“It's truly a crime that this place doesn't have more reviews. This is one of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life. The sourdough is splendid, giving the crust a beautiful balance between soft and crunchy. The sauce is out of this world, I wish they sold jars of it so I could eat it more often. Every topping is incredibly flavorful and fresh. My favorites were the ricotta, cherry tomatoes, beef meatballs, and spinach.Make sure to preorder at least a day before you plan to go, since they make a limited amount of pizzas. Do yourself a favor and order the larger size, that way you can enjoy leftovers once you're back home and dreaming about the pizza! I can't wait to come back here again soon!“
“Overall the taste of all the ingredients is very good and well seasoned. They also has some toppings less commonly seen like shredded beets and bean sprouts! The place is very clean and they also weigh the noodles/rice to ensure evenness. The only con I would say is that the scoops of fish are on the small side so I would recommend 5 scoops over 3 for an adult. Also you get more fish if you choose the fish that already have spicy sauce, like spicy tuna, as opposed to plain fish, like plain salmon, due to the scoop shape. The seaweed salad topping and masago are both $1 extra which a minor point off“
“Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Great tasting food. It was my first time there and the food was very tasty. Not your usual sloppy pita sandwich, (although I love those, also). Nice variety of appetizers. I tried the zucchini keftedes and they were great. Nice portion to share or have it alone for a meal. (next time I'm going to order them with less sauce because I like the flavor og the kefteda). I'm happy to see a Greek food restaurant in the neighborhood. gives the neighborhood a continued variety of great places to eat. I will be back. Best of luck.“
“Came here on my lunch break and I enjoyed everything! Surprisingly it was not too busy for a Saturday late morning so I was seated immediately. Both the host and waiter were very kind and attentive. Although I was on phone, there was some nice music playing in the background and dining area was very neat and clean. Lots of windows allowed plenty of natural sunlight as well. I'm looking forward to coming again to try the chilaquiles or sandwiches. I had the waffle combo which hit the spot and the waffle was perfectly crisp but fluffy inside.“
“Best tacos in Logan square sorry not sorry this is my go to taco spot always I love the service the workers are very attentive team spicy tacoooossss ????Vegetarian options: Never had a veggie taco till I tried one here and it is officially my favorite Taco on the list “
“We finally had an opportunity to enjoy eating here while vacationing. Surprisingly, there's only 2 locations only. We traveled an hour to eat here and we didn't regret it. The food quality is still very good and the service was good too. Hopefully there are plans to open more locations. The buffalo chicken calzone is tasty, the potatoes are superb, and pizza is very good. I highly recommend eating here.“
“We got this via door dash last night. Wow. So healthy and delicious. I got the goddess greens and it didn’t even need an added protein. The dressing was so good. My husband got the Mediterranean mix up and loved it and son got the ode to the roasted veggie. So excited for this addition to Evanston. We also love the non plastic containers!!!“
“The food is unique, tasty, and filling. $8 gets you 1 arancini and a side, and is enough for the average person. I have a bigger appetite, so I tried 2 kinds: the jerkcino and peanutcino. Both were good and more than enough food. I'll be back to try the other “
“We went to Farm Bar last night with another couple and it was so delicious I had to write a review. We started with the cheese curds and we all agreed that they are the best we have ever had. Then we had the salad that was on the Specials list. It was a smear of ricotta cheese with butter lettuce, peas, asparagus, watermelon radishes and a very light, tasty vinaigrette dressing. So fresh and flavorful. The owner came by our table and has a huge farm in Wisconsin so everything is so fresh and menu changes with seasons. My husband had the catfish. He is a southern boy and he loved it. Huge portion as well! Two of us had the cavatelli. Fresh pasta and layered with textures and flavors. And one of us had the burger. He said it was a great burger. Service was very friendly and we didn't feel rushed. Highly recommend Farm Bar!! Can't wait until the summer and the rooftop opens.“
“Panes is my favorite sandwich place in Chicago! Their sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced, and they bake their own bread fresh that is also available for purchase. Their soup is quite good, and they have a variety of dessert options. I recommend calling about 20 minutes ahead to save time on pickup orders, although I also enjoy walking in to eat there, with natural light and fun art on the walls. I usually order the Super Panes, although the Todo Italiano is also a favorite!“
“I love paulie gee's! So many good, unique vegan pies. I try to avoid Thursday nights since it's trivia night and it is ROWDY, but also if that's your thing definitely check it out everyone seems to have a great time! Bartenders are always wonderful, great jov all around.“
“Fantastic spot for a delicious and enjoyable Japanese meal ?!!!Ekiben was a wonderful dining experience! From the moment I walked in.... the atmosphere was cosy and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering recommendations on the menu.I had the salmon teriyaki don. It tasted so fresh and flavorful. The ingredients were perfectly cooked and delightful ?.While the food was delicious, I'm also very optimistic that they will continue to innovate and introduce exciting new dishes in the future. ? For example, chef's choice section on the menu where they can showcase their culinary creativity, or loyalty program to reward frequent customers would be excellent (hopefully I don't ask them too much?)I truly enjoyed my experience at Ekiben, and I will definitely revisit and try another dish ?.“
“My family and I absolutely love this spot!! Their daily specials are top notch. And their chicken noodle soup is one of the best out there. You can tell it's homemade. We have not had something we did not like from Sunrise grill. The staff here is so wonderful. Always so nice and accommodating. We love the staff there. We always feel so welcomed.“
“Suda’s offers delicious Lebanese cuisine in an upscale and intimate dining space. We came in a large group and got to try out a variety of dishes, all amazed by the flavors and beautiful plating of the food — the roasted cauliflower (Arnibit), falafel, and baba ghanouj were delicious appetizers; among the mains, we loved the shrimp and lamb skewers, while the mixed grill offered a variety of meats; for dessert, the Knaef was a sweet and decadent standout. The prices here are on a slightly higher end, but the exceptional quality of the food makes it well worth it.“
“OH MY GOD THIS PLACE MAKES HEAVEN. My favorites: - any of the savory meat croissants - egg sandwich - any of the meat strombolis - salted caramel donut - gingersnap molasses cookie - twice-baked almond croissant - vegan dark chocolate banana bread with pecans - Two falls ago there was this amazing apple cider bearclaw donut thing. I haven't seen it since in the pastry case, but I can still taste its awesomeness in my mouth and hope it will one day return. Everything here is so moist and magical. For me, what sets Mindy's Bakery apart from other bakeries, and makes it clear why Mindy won the Beard award for Outstanding Chef in the US, is that Mindy and crew are always working to improve their craft, always using quality ingredients and making better versions of things all the time and I respect this so much. Also, when you come in through the door, you can see everyone behind the counter, working hard, baking during open hours, and helping you pick things out of the big case in front. They are awesome. If you're from out of town, know there's rarely a line out the door on Wed, Thurs or Fri, but Sat and Sun are busy, so do what I do and bring your kindle or paper to read while you wait in line. It is always worth the wait.“
“We visited for the first time yesterday and it was AMAZING! Great ambience, friendly staff, good music but the food was the star of the show. Absolutely delicious! Everything from the bread, salads, soups and entrees. We will definitely be back!!!“
“We hosted my son’s communion party at Porretta’s last May and we were very satisfied with everything, so we decided to cater for my mother’s birthday party. We ordered a few days prior and John was able to accommodate us in spite of the short notice. We had it delivered on time and with care. All the food was delicious but our guests especially raved about the Rigatoni Vodka and the mini meatballs.I am already planning our next celebration and will be using Porrettas catering once again!“
“When in Chicago, you can't skip on this place. The pizza was amazing. This was my first time trying Deep Dish (Chicago Style) pizza, and I'm glad I went with the best for my first time. We also had the fried mozzarella and the bruschetta. The Bruschetta is nicknamed "The Best" and after having it, I now know why. Our waitress was super nice. She was an older lady with a Boston accent but she was so funny and took really good care of us.“
“Visited for the first time today and the food absolutely delivered. I got a single cheeseburger, fries and a chocolate shake and my wife got an Italian beef with Swiss cheese and hot peppers, DUNKED of course, and it was everything you could possibly want. 10/10 will be back again.“
“2nd time there and loving the food, experience and the staff/owner.Cute place and good vibe. First round was with the Brie, prosciutto, green apple sandwiches...mmmm mmmm good. Tonight I took wifey out for date night and got the charcuterie for 2. Awesome selection, great flavors, nice presentation. Owner stopped by a few times to check up on us. Loved the wine selection as well. Hidden gem in park ridge. Can't love it enough.“
“Loved this place!I highly recommend this restaurant. I had their main Steak File with mushrooms sauce , veggies and mashed potato, everything was delicious. The price is 100% worthy since you get good meat quality and good portion. The staff was very nice to us and very friendly.“
“I've become a lunch regular here - absolutely delicious and fresh food in generous portions with special deals that are hard to beat. Very friendly, hospitable service even in a casual space like this. $10 chicken and falafel lunch special featured in the pic!“
“Ever since they opened we go out of our way to frequent this place. We have other Thai places within walking distance from our condo but a short drive yields better quality Thai food and wonderful service. Ambiance: The place is super clean which is a plus. If the front of the house is immaculate, I would think the kitchen is the same. The food is amazing. Tiger Cry is amazing and they give a nice size portion compared to other places. Sweet/savory marinated thin slices of beef char-grilled is wonderful. Don't hesitate on the fried shumai- Fried shrimp shu-mai, served with light sweet and sour sauce. Awesome finger food. You can't go wrong with any of the curry dishes. This last round we had the Gaeng Masaman - Masaman curry and potatoes sauteed in coconut milk with peanuts and chicken. Great flavor. So many selections but all have been great! I love the fact you can choose the level of spiciness for each dish depending on your preferences. We go full-tilt hot as hell spicy and it does not disappoint! Pricing is a bit lower than your average Thai places and portions are more generous. 3 dishes for 2 people yields leftovers! Owner is friendly and I can tell he loves what he does and is looking out for the diners. This is the place you want to make sure thrives. Go pay them a visit.“
“A fantastic place to have deep dish pizza in Chicago! A friend recommended this as we are from out of country. Would definitely come back again for their deep dish pizza stuffed crust. Their pizza crust is the best thing another the pizza (I personally don’t eat crusts on pizza, but here, it’s my favourite part). We also had a side of parmesan garlic fries and a Caesar salad which were a fantastic addition. Thanks Dimitri for the fantastic service!“
“This place is amazing. This was my second time here and both times were exceptional. Chill atmosphere and very clean as well. Moe and Diar were both very welcoming and made sure we had a good experience. The food was fantastic and made to order so it was extremely fresh both times. Would recommend the fries with garlic sauce (most addicting combo) and the falafel. Can’t go wrong with schaorma here either.“
“Max & Issy’s is a super cute date spot with great pizza. The inside is gorgeous and the food is incredible. They have a few unique pizzas, such as the Queen of Hearts, which is basically if spinach artichoke dip was a pizza. I had the hot honey pepper pizza and honestly whoever decided honey goes on pizza deserves an award. The pizzas only come in one size, which is 16” aka large, so you’ll probably want to share. Since my girlfriend and I have different taste palates (mine being good and hers being less good), we ordered two pizzas and now we have lots of leftovers. Highly recommend stopping by for date night or just a great pizza with friends.“
“Solid place! Just came by during my lunch break and got the gyro sandwich and Parmesan fries. Order was ready super quickly (5 min walk from my apartment) and staff was friendly. Food was great - super fresh. I got home and told my roommate and he was jealous. I feel bad that I did not bring him back any. I should be less selfish in the future. Great addition to the neighborhood I'm going to come back and try more things on the menu“
“I love ordering pick up here. The website makes it super easy. My healthy, delicious salad with sustainable salmon is ready in less than 10 minutes. It helps to keep me on track with eating well and it’s delicious at the same time. I sometimes treat myself to the amazing tater tots or switch it up with their catch of the day. Love it here.“
“We saw that Chicago's Pizza offered a Mickey Mouse for children that they could build themselves and decided to take our children so they could have the experience. For our ourselves, we got a deep dish pizza, thin crust pizza, and fried cauliflower. We were all pleasantly surprised by the quality of our food, which was very tasty (and we had gone only for the kids' pizza). They're focaccia was superb. Unfortunately, the restaurant sent us Mickey Mouse pizzas that were already made (not made by our kids). Other parents will understand how your dinner experience is affected when you've promised a 5-year-old something all day and then that thing doesn't come to fruition-it ruins your dinner. The staff were nice and accommodating, and they did what they could to help, including bringing out dough balls to make it seem to our kids like they were making the actual pizza. In the end, it worked. However, the dinner was a lot more tense than it should have been feel (and contentious amongst the parents). This is a situation that should've been handled by management. If the place is going to cater to children, there are the sort of things that it must stay on top off. Most parents can overlook a flawed pizza, but not a child crying over dinner.“
“We had high expectations since all the reviews we’d read had been very positive. We were not disappointed. The apple salad was indeed huge and delicious and the tavern style pizza was perfect. Super thin and crispy and the sausage was glorious, not greasy at all and full of fennel seed flavor. Josh(one of the owners)took our order and chatted with us. He was extremely welcoming and kind. Even brought us glasses for the bottle of wine we brought with us. We also tried the Superman ice cream, which I hadn’t heard of before, that too is made in house and was delicious. There are 3 booths that fit 4 for seating and also just enough room for ordering at the counter and for people waiting for takeout and delivery orders. We went on Friday and were able to grab a table when we arrived around 5:30. Within 30-45 minutes, the other tables were occupied as well. We dined in since we wanted to try the pizza super fresh and hot. Wonderful experience and We’re looking forward to going again. Don’t miss out on this amazing pizza.“
“Coming from a retired vegan that usually doesn’t care for chicken, GG’s has the most delicious, mouthwatering, delectable, juicy, tender, succulent, flavorful, finger-licking, life changing chicken I’ve ever had in my life. I get their food almost every time I have a lunch break and it’s always hot and fresh and ready to go and nothing beats their prices. GG’s please sponsor me I’m your biggest fan“
“This place is absolutely beautiful. The decorations, the atmosphere, the people.I absolutely love it! I normally go to the One on eighty seventh and harlem And love it there too, same owners,SameFood, just amazing just absolutely amazing And delicious!“
“Fittingly delicious has been my life saver! The meals are high quality, tasty, and great value. Most meals have 25-50g of protein with loads of options 35-45g which is a challenge I’ve found in other services. I get the 20 meal plan and keep meals out for the week and freeze the rest for the following week and they freeze well. I’ve had one or two hiccups but the customer service has been literally impeccable! Super friendly, proactively comes up with a resolution that is beyond satisfaction. The true test in my opinion of how businesses handle when things aren’t always perfection (it happens!) and I’ve been super impressed. I’ve fully switched to lunch and dinner for the month from here and am a devoted customer now. Thanks for providing a high value, High quality, high customer service centric service to Chicagoland! Love supporting local businesses and I’m spreading the word to all my friends!“
“Ordered from them for some quick lunch. Prices were unbeatable, and the quality of food was incredible. Really can tell a lot about sushi just from the rice, and the rice was spot on. Would highly recommend giving them your business. They are take-out only at this time though. Thank you so much for a delicious lunch!“
“Only reason I don’t give it a 5 is because there has been a couple times where my order was supposed to be ready for take out and I had to wait 20 minutes for it. I come during my lunch hour so that’s a good half hour waisted because of the delay and then I just have 30 mins or less to shove the food basically. The workers seemed to be working pretty fast so I think it may be a short staffed issue.“
“Brown bag seafood is a cute little spot. I like the location in Lincoln Park. My favorite is the crispy cod sandwich. But recently I tried the fried fish sandwich with Pollock. Nikki, T and Jeremy are awesome and we're all so helpful. Niki is super sweet and help me understand the difference between the crispy cod sandwich and the fried fish sandwich haha, as well as Jeremy who was super knowledgeable on the subject and quick to explain. Jeremy and T were back there, Cooking up a delicious frenzy. They also offer absolutely delicious lobster rolls. And for this cold winter weather lobster mac & cheese and clam chowder. This is a great quick spot when you're craving some delicious seafood. They offer their items in a few different styles, everybody wins . Stop in and get a crispy cod sandwich you will not be disappointed. While your there say hi to Niki, T, or Jeremy great spot, and these wonderful people help make this great spot go round.“
“I stayed at the Graduate in Evanston for a few days in July. I really liked the vintage style of the hotel building, and the friendly staff, but I was dismayed at how cold it was in the hotel because of the excessive air conditioning. I turned it off in our room as soon as we arrived and the temperature remained comfortable there during our whole stay. It seemed to me that the AC in the lobby, the restaurant, and the bar was actually set to a lower temperature than the heating would be in the winter. And there was a fire in the fireplace, with temperatures in the 80s and 90s outside and AC on! The Graduate Hotel management seems to be ignoring how important saving energy is right now, in light of global warming. Their blatant disregard for the environment sent a shiver down my spine in more than one way.“
“Wanted to love it more. Lots of rapport between staff and patrons so it’s clearly a real local regulars place. Tables are packed in tightly. Felt like I was in the space of the couple behind us especially when I stood up.Beef bourguignon was very pretty but underseasoned. No detectable red wine taste to the sauce or meat. Beet salad was declared “fine.” We started with the spring rolls which were good and the potstickers .. good except the sauce with ketchup and sweet chili notes was a bit overpowering. All the appetizers on the menu were Asian except focaccia and soup. Desserts were enjoyed. Cocktails were good.Funny to see menu highlights in google maps include tiramisu, scallops, and hangar steak, none of which were on offer during our visit.“
“I love this pizza. It's a thicker size, width, and it's light. The sauce, cheese, and toppings are delicious. I had a slice with sausage and one without. They wereboth so good, again so good. The staff was helpful. They answered my questions and explained the menu items to me. Relaxed setting in the restaurant. I think you'll enjoy your experience either way - dining in or grabbing something on the run.“
“Pescatarian Italian fusion restaurant that checks every box: excellent food, ranging from well done standards, such as handmade pasta, through intricate dishes with creative flavors; thorough drink menu (enjoyed the Fuji Whiskey); ample portion sizes; pleasant atmosphere hitting the sweet spot between modern and classic, with comfortable seating; great music that was not too loud or intrusive, Spanish classical guitar playing instrumental pop covers (did they play that flamenco Final Fantasy VII Cover for our anniversary?); and well timed service. Hands down the best Kosher restaurant at which I've ever eaten.Vegetarian options: Pescatarian restaurant with a plethora of delicious vegetarian options.“
“Good pizza. You should totally take cash. Super annoying. It’s like saying we don’t take money. You should change that. Make it easy to get a pizza. I had cash. I walked. I had money. walked home annoyed. I walked back and enjoyed the pizza. Take cash. Thanks.“
“This place was absolutely fantastic! We dined in and got the chive dumplings, green curry with chicken and the cashew chicken and rice. We came in with zero expectations as we were taking a walk around town when we got here and the smell alone drew us in for dinner. The service was stellar, kept joe rob the waters and super attentive but not too much at the same time. It was a very intimate spot, not much seating so if you tend to struggle with sensory issues try to come when not busy or get it to go. The food was so fresh and PACKED with flavor. Really felt like it was the warm respite we needed on a rainy evening. Highly recommend.“
“Burger Moovement is an absolute gem in the world of halal dining! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of sizzling burgers and crispy wings. The burgers are not just delicious; they're a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and made with the finest ingredients. But it doesn't stop there - their wings are a delight to the senses, perfectly seasoned and oh-so-crunchy. And let's talk about their tater tots - each bite is a symphony of crunch and satisfaction. But perhaps the crown jewel of Burger Moovement is their shakes - creamy, dreamy, and utterly irresistible. Whether you're a fan of classic flavors or adventurous concoctions, they have something to satisfy every craving. What truly sets Burger Moovement apart is its warm and welcoming family atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can enjoy a delicious meal with loved ones and create lasting memories. If you're in search of the perfect halal burger joint, look no further than Burger Moovement. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!“
“I’ve tried countless breakfast spots all over Chicago, and this is my favorite. All the food is amazing and the customer service is excellent. Carlota, our waitress, was super friendly and attentive. We ordered practically everything, but my favorites were the special Diegoito’s Benedict and the Chef’s Special French Toast. Will come back again and highly recommend!“
“Meat pierogi are some of the best I've out outside of Poland. Potato pancakes are thicker, like they should be. And the sour soup was actually sour and not watered down for inexperienced palates (-:Kid-friendliness: Brought a stroller and breastfed during dinner no problem“
“Just had the best service ever! Gina was our waitress and she was such a sweetheart. More places need workers like her. We'll be back specifically for her! Thank you! Highly recommend her as your server. Made our experience here so much more enjoyable.“
“I have been coming to the Art of Pizza for YEARS, and there has not been one time that I have come that I haven't enjoyed everything I've eaten. Granted, I've only eaten their pizza, but that's what they're known for. They have a selection of Chicago style & thin crust pizzas for purchase by the slice . I love that they usually have a veggie Chicago style up there as well as the usual pepperoni and sausage. The crust is flaky, the sauce is savory, and the toppings are plentiful. I feel like all restaurants prices have gone up exponentially in the last two years, but Art of Pizza still keeps their prices affordable for a quick lunch. There is a parking lot right in front. They take cash or card, and the staff is fast and never hesitates to answer any questions. The inside isn't fancy, but is always clean and I have never had a hard time finding a table. When the pizza smells so good, you rethink your decision to not eat in. I couldn't resist a car bite!“
“I am so grateful to have accidentally walked past this place… it is so difficult to find someone local who has actually FRESH food. Not a thing in my salad is processed… even the carrots are hand chopped and fresh as can be. Will be returning for daily lunch without a doubt!“
