“Best place to go staff is the best and owner is awesome!!!“

“Food was surprisingly good. Hummus is dusted with tajin or something like that, so it has a little kick and lots of toasted chickpeas which is yummy. The buffalo chicken sliders are seriously outstanding. Service was friendly but a little bit absent at times. Atmosphere is lively. We were there for music bingo on Wednesday night and will definitely be back. It gets loud and hard to hear when it's full.“

“Really cool local neighborhood spot! Babe’s has a fun atmosphere with pink everywhere, which gives the place its own personality without feeling overdone. You can tell they’re passionate about creating a space that celebrates women athletes and women’s sports, and that makes it feel different from your typical sports bar.

They have some really good mixed drinks along with a solid selection of cans and bottles. The beers were ice cold, the bartenders were great, and the whole place had that welcoming neighborhood-bar feel that you just don’t find much anymore.

Definitely a spot I’d come back to for a few drinks and to watch a game!“

“We absolutely loved this place! The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the smashburgers; they were incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor in every bite. I ordered the passion fruit margarita at ut was perfect. We can’t wait to return!“

“Our server didn't know the answers to a couple of questions about spice and didn't offer to find out for us. We should have asked her to but we shouldn't have to ask. Two of the six of us ordered something different because of that but we all had good food. The server should have smiled. We still tipped well and are assuming she's new to serving. We will definitely go back. The food and atmosphere were great. We were welcomed in and thanked when we left. Almost a perfect experience.“

“A legendary local bar in making.....great vibe...and has different nights that include live music..and Fyi the dj spins vinyl on certain Saturday nights ..also great place to watch your favorite Chicago sports team... definitely one of my favorite places...to go with friends....a bar you can go to alone and end making friends with other locals in the area...also they have a pool table...that is well taken care of ..so if ya like pool...this place is great to meet other players..“

“i’m writing this review as i’m still sitting in the booth because it was just THAT good.

i ordered the french onion burger with the regular fries on the side, and let me tell you i haven’t had a burger check every box like this one. the garlic aioli was the perfect amount of flavor to complement the caramelized onions. the bun was seemingly buttered and fluffy. and the fries!! they had a flakey salt with not one fry left unsalted. they were also thin and crispy to perfection.

the service was great and every staff member was always smiling. i never write reviews but this one felt very necessary. 5 stars from me!“

“Love this place, great service and food! We come in every week and love the salad wraps! They are normally great and toasted a bit, but recently it’s been inconsistent. When it’s not grilled a little bit, it taste more like a cold gas station wrap. Bring back the grilled wraps!!“

“Me and my friends felt so safe thanks to Megg.
We had an issue with some dudes at the bar, and Megg helped us out and those guys got kicked out immediately after reporting.
The best deal is getting the pass for the turtle races. they do start about an hour after listed time for the race, but you can drink before the scheduled time. it is $40/person for unlimited drinks.
The bartender who kept the turtles was so nice and let us take pictures with the turtles.

“Gracie’s is the perfect neighborhood spot to have a cold brew with your friends! Popcorn and darts just add to the lively atmosphere. However, the best part of Gracie’s is when Danny is behind the bar! He pours the perfect Guinness and is just a joy to be around, definitely stop by Gracie’s, you won’t regret it!“

“All around, Sully’s is a nice spot. Caught a World Cup game at the bar and liked that it was not overly crowded. Given the size of the crowd, I was pleasantly surprised that our food came out very quickly. I would absolutely go back for another game!“

“Edelweiss is a pure gem and is THE best bar in Chicago. Laid back, friendly and a timeless classic former shift bar that now hosts a good mix of lively people. Olga is my favorite bartender in Chicago who has an incredible heart and makes you feel at home. Alex, who handles the karaoke machine is the best to sing your heart out with. I started going there when the owner became a client of the company I was working for in the mid-90s, setting up cash registers in the restaurant he opened for his nephew. I no longer live in Chicago, but make it a point to stop there and speak with the owner every chance I get. Always great food and exceptional service! You may have to wait in line, though. Understandably, it's a very popular place!“
