We were seated quickly even though we didn’t book a reservation ahead on a Friday night. Was so fun to try the different wines and enjoy the ambiance this unique experience has to offer. The only downside, we ordered aoli fries immediately upon being seated and sampled multiple wines about an hour in and the fries still had not arrived. Disappointed we had to ask for them to go, they were boxed up for us and removed from the bill. Good fries for sure but would have been even better eating them on location.”

“The restaurant is located inside the grocery store. I ordered the beef taco plate and it was very good. I read their beef tacos were delicious and the amount of food should also be noted. There were rice and beans under my tacos too. I was very full and pleasantly satisfied.”

“I have been going there when they were located in strip malls on Ogden Ave for their buffet in early 2010, and now at their new location in Naperville. In my opinion they have better quality of food than others in the area. Also, not many people know of the buffet offerings on the weekends, which they need to put out the sign in front.”

“I still remember my THAT first very early morning cup of coffee in 1987.
I was introduced to the place at Belmont and Clark in Chicago when they used to serve my favorite ONION donuts, and I was addicted to having it with plain cream cheese.
In time, I tried to upgrade to various high-end coffees, but unfortunately, those were not 'my cup of tea.'
Although they do not serve ONION doughnuts, I am still hooked on their taste of coffee. However, now I have changed my doughnut to be plain with vegetable cream cheese. Another great combo. Try it when you visit next time.”

“Each table seats 4. We dined in. They have take out as well. We were greeted right away by a friendly wait staff who helped us with some recommendations along with taking our order. everything we ordered was great I had the black garlic pork on the first page of the menu, one of the children had plain ramen with chicken broth and the other had a chicken ramen bowl. We all tried each others and we all agreed our own bowl was the best but they all were good. You can either make your own, à la carte and choose your ingredients or you can choose from pre-made with pictures which we did because it was our first time. we didn't have room for appetizers, but we will definitely be back to try them because they all look amazing. Everything was delicious and we had a fun time with lots of leftovers which they package up very cute and neat, they put the ramen noodles in a bowl and your broth separate so your noodles don't suck it all up by the time you eat it again.. saved it as a new favorite spot!! The kids were ecstatic and had an amazing time which is very hard to do with most restaurants. fun food for kids and great eats for adults. 10 out of 10 from the kids!”

Our waitress was lackluster. She never recommended anything, asked whether we had ever been there nor asked us how our food was. She also never asked whether we needed anything after receiving our entrees and it was very difficult to get a second cup of coffee. We had to wait a long time for it. She looked surprised when I politely pointed out my hash browns were not served with the rest of our food. Luckily I received them. Realized we needed more napkins after she left, but she never came back. Would have loved jam for the biscuit like in the picture and a third cup of coffee. I would have also ordered beignets to take home. In spite of the service, I would love to come back. Hopefully will have a different server. I wasn’t aware of all the different coffee drinks and would have loved recommendations. I realize the work is hard as I did it myself years ago, but such good food deserves a better server to showcase it.”

“Salt; that's what Namak translates to, is a new addition to the country in the suburbs of Chicago that serves some Indian street food and a few entrees.

We came across this simply by accident. We were hungry but didn't want a full meal and came across Namak online so decided to give it a shot.

We had the dabeli and vada pav; both were EXCELLENT.

The dabeli had the flavors you would have in India. Of course you can never get the 'exact' flavor outside of India for obvious reasons but these folks have done a TERRIFIC job of making it pretty darn close.

Both items were made fresh while I waited, wrapped wonderfully so as to make it easy to eat without making a mess.

The dabeli had the wonderful mixture of sweet and spicy (could be more spicy for my taste though) and the bread was not the sweet American bread one would expect. It was darn close to the 'pav' you get in India.

The vada pav was EPIC. You could taste the flavors, the spices, the freshness of it. If I could have something else, I'd want to try out their side of the vada (they sell just the vadas too).

I had a brief conversation with the staff here; they opened I think 6 or 8 months ago. They don't have a location in the city (PLEASE COME. I'LL BRING SO MANY CUSTOMERS AND MYSELF TOO SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK) sadly so will need to wait to try some of their other stuff till we make the next trip there.

Accidents happen. I have seen much worse with children and their inattentive parents.”
