“Visited for the first time over the weekend. Had a wonderful time, loved the large varied menu, loved the food, loved my drinks, and really loved the performance by Denny Diamond! Three of us in our group and we can’t wait to return! Ordered many food and drink items from the menu because we were all trying the food for the first time and between the three of us, every item was a hit, with no misses. Will be back in August for Denny Diamond’s next performance!“

“Food is hot and quick. Not the kind of place you go out of your way to get but it’s tasty in a pinch and the prices aren’t insane for the quantity you get. You’ll get a decent meal (and easily be enough for 2 if you want) and a drink if you pay $16 which in todays age (2025) isn’t terrible“

“I very rarely post reviews, but my experience at this Panda Express was exemplary. The staff was courteous, quick, and seemed to enjoy being there. The food was fresh - both in ingredients and time since being made. The women’s bathroom was exceptionally clean (I can’t speak on the men’s but imagine it was similarly clean).“

“Our favorite Chinese food restaurant in Chicago. Staff is friendly, food is delicious no matter what we get. Some of our favorites are the Wash Sun Chicken Wings, Noodle platter, Ma Po Tofu - but honestly anything is delicious from here.“

“Excellent Kung pao chicken, and the sauce has a very nice consistency. Not too thick. Also, they’ll make it extra spicy if you ask. Good veggie egg rolls too. Highly recommend. It’s mostly takeout/delivery, so I don’t really have a comment about the interior.“

“Mrs. Crespo: My husband asked me to give this place a try off reviews... We're a Spicy full household so trying new places is hard... Family of 7 so we order XL... In the past yrs started eating better... So clean and fresh tastes are important... At first was a bit iffy per the size of the wings... But then took into account the freshness of their food, taste and quality... We loved the flavor of everything... Crispy, not greasy... Extra soy blended perfectly into the rice... The egg foo young was fluffy and full, best looking sauce I've ever seen... It was smooth thick with a slight cream soup feel... Not jelly like... Not many places offer No Shell S&P Shrimp, love that they have the option with or without... No food coma zombies after, full but didn't feel gross... Delivery was on point... She said 45 minutes... In fact it was 45 minutes, including the 3 minutes it took me to give my order... A sweet older man delivered my order... The taste of the food reminded us of a China Buffet off Pulaski and Wellington.. Family owned, it was our wkly spot for over 20yrs... They watched me age into adulthood and watched my oldest 3 grow.. They've been closed for time now... But you're food reminds us of there... We'll be ordering again... Planning to stop for dine in as well...“

“Every neighborhood needs a place like this. It’s a shame the five star rating has become so overinflated because, this isn’t a 5 Star place, but I guess it does five stars at doing what it’s supposed to do. This is a very simple, very basic Chinese restaurant that serves really good food. It’s never going to win an award, but you don’t always want those places. Anyway, we had a great meal there, the service was a bit of a hoot. Our meals were delivered at least 10 minutes apart, but the waitstaff was so sweet and so friendly you just couldn’t be upset over it. Plus, it was just me and my wife so we both nibbled at the first meal before hers got there.

Anyway, if you’re looking for fine dining, this ain’t it but if you’re looking for a good meal, then this would be the place to go if you’re in the area.“

“A literal hole in the wall, but a hidden gem. I’ve been ordering from here since 2010 and the food has always been delicious. The portions sizes are big enough for two people even if you order a small size. The lady at the window is always kind and happy to help. I definitely recommend ordering from here!“

“This is my fav Chinese food spot around town. Their tofu is cooked well and everything always tastes great. Service is pretty quick too. I think most people order takeout but dining in is pretty chill too. Also, their prices are pretty reasonable. A lot of food that I usually end up taking home.“

“I grew up eating at Hunan Spring almost 15 years ago, so I stopped by hoping to relive an old memory with a friend after coming from Bensenville. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The lady who works there was nice, but the man was very rude. He gave me the wrong items, and when I called, he hung up on me. That kind of customer service is unacceptable. Be careful with your order and double-check it. “My family and I traveled to Chicago twice this year and dined at the Asian Cuisine Express both times. The owner, cooks and wait staff were all extremely friendly and made each of our visits a wonderful experience. We ordered Chinese and Japanese food and we also sampled some of their new delicious tacos... everything we tried was absolutely fantastic. We live 300 miles away so we ordered a lot of takeout to bring home with us to share with our friends who didn't get to make the trips. Asian Cuisine express will be a regular stop now for us every time we go to Chicago... we highly recommend everyone tries this restaurant and we can't wait until we visit there again. “okay I am looking at the other reviews and the only thing that is a lie is large portions! there is no large portion! this is probably the smallest lunch special that cost close to $15 that I've ever had at any Chinese restaurant ever. you can go to a buffet and get all you can eat for $15. definitely a sample plate or portion for a child. I ordered to go and looked inside the container and was like WOW! NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. “I love this spot. Amazing hot & sour soup, egg drop has good strong flavor, the orange chicken they serve is nice and has a nice spice to it. The shrimp fried rice has very nice size shrimp. The chicken friend rice has a ton of chicken in it too. I really enjoy the fried wings (disconnected) as well, very delicious. I love the gravy from the shrimp with lobster sauce, good amount for shrimp for reasonable price. Always get the house sweet and sour chicken. It's superb. We ordered KUNG BAO DELIGHT, and it was very tasty, and the portion was very large.
We also ordered COMBINATION FRIED RICE, and it tasted great, but I asked to make spicy, and they didn't prepare it properly.

“This place reminds me of the old Chinatown before COVID and the reason I used to go to Chinatown. It's, affordable with good portions, it has that older Chinese restaurant feel to it, yet clean, and the service is good with a fast waitress who has a good memory and doesn't need a notepad. Service is fast and the food is fresh and hot served with tea. Free parking close by. Highly recommend you check it out and if you like your food a bit spicy, ask for it and it will make a huge difference.“

I ordered the sesame chicken combo with vegetable rice. Other places serve a shrimp fried rice browned that looks like it was cooked with just soy sauce and a scattering of shrimp, or (in the case of vegetable rice) a few bits of vegetable rice I would swear was frozen. Here, the rice on the shrimp fried rice looks alive and fresh with a nice balance of tasty shrimp. There is always a generous helping of fresh steamed broccoli. The vegetable rice is excellent, and there are plenty of diverse fresh vegetables. Their tasty egg rolls are smartly done with a plethora of fresh ingredients in a crispy shell. While the seating area is not a place to take your date, the quality of the food and the speed of the service is top notch. Note: The food is a SWEET AMERICAN version of Mandarin Chinese.“
