“This place is the whole package! From the second you step onto the property to walking in and the hostess immediately greeting you with a smile. Check in is seamless and reservations are withheld to the tea (no waiting). As you walk through the inside, everyone greets you. Celebrating a special occasion? Note it on your reservation and they have cute cards on the table wishing you the best. Alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks are prepared phenomenally and waitstaff bring them as they are done. Appetizers? Mozzarella sticks are cheese pull galore, mini meatballs are beyond with the crostinis, and let's just say you can't go wrong with the margarita pizza. Entrees that stand out have been the lasagna, chicken limone, chicken parmesan and pasta with vodka sauce (don't forget to add a protein). Additionally, there's a kids menu and it is truly kid friendly. Don't skip dessert! Whatever you choose you won't be disappointed. My personal favorite is the crème brûlée with a shot of espresso on the side. Only downside of this place is not knowing when we have something special to celebrate again so we can go back, maybe to even dine outside!“

“The atmosphere here is comfortably laid back, making it an easy place to settle in for a meal and a few drinks. The meat was excellent and easily the highlight for me, while the drink selection gave us plenty of options to choose from. It is a little more expensive than some similar places, but the quality of the food and the overall experience made the visit feel worthwhile.“

“Today was my first time there. The food is delicious my kids love it but I don’t feel I had the great service. First, we didn’t get the napkins and utensils on time but way after the food got there. A drink spilled on me (our fault) which made me realized there was no napkins provided, by the time we found the lady for napkins I was soaking wet. Then we were about to start eating and my children needed a fork, well no fork was provided. We ordered 3 seafood boils, no utensils for that were provided neither. My husband ordered an extra drink, never was it brought to us. I’m happy my kids enjoyed it, but we were not that pleased as we saw others being treated differently. Not sure if we will be returning.“

My first experience was to celebrate my daughter's birthday in August, the next was a birthday celebration for my sister, and God willing, I will celebrate my birthday in May. “Amazing smoked beef brisket sandwich with fresh cut fries. Everything was was made fresh and served piping hot. The BBQ sauce is delicious... sweet, smoky and a tad spicy. The portions are large and well worth the money. If in the area again, I would definitely go back.“

“The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry was an amazing experience with something memorable around every corner. The Spider-Man exhibit was a lot of fun, and the storm and airplane simulations made the science feel hands-on, exciting, and real.

The human specimen exhibition was not something I am into but it is interesting.

Another major highlight was walking through the full-sized United Airlines Boeing 727. It was especially meaningful to learn that the aircraft honors Captain William Norwood, United’s first Black pilot, and reflects the important legacy of Black achievement and representation in aviation. We visited during a Black pilots convention in August, along with a pilot there for the conference, which made that connection even more powerful and inspiring.

This museum blends interactive science, history, innovation, and powerful stories in a way that keeps visitors engaged. Definitely a five-star visit and well worth the time.“

I came before they were closing and he took care of me , I absolutely love JJ Fish & Chicken! Every time I go, I order the chicken tenders, and they are always fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The customer service is excellent—everyone is friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s hard to find a spot that consistently delivers great food and service, but JJ Fish & Chicken nails it every time. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food and a great experience!“

This is without mentioning the Chorizo, the eggs, and their choice of spices and peppers. The food here as of this date 6/30/26, is some of the best food I have had.“

“The best place you can go for mariscos. Great prices. The only thing I wished was that they opened a second location maybe closer to the southwest suburbs because we have nothing out here. This place would hit amazing! But anytime I’m in the city I ALWAYS stop by. Their langostinos, shrimp, ceviche , agua chiles etc all taste good. “Had a great time here! Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. We had the Brussel Sprouts, add the hot honey, a Fish and Chips with an upgrade side of truffle fries, and a Veggie burger. Beers on draft were great, and we had made it in time for happy hour pricing. Staff was attentive and very nice. The place is very spacious and on a upper level. There is an elevator for the handicap accessible, but make sure to ask for assistance!“

“First time. My wife order the El G- Fe bolsita and I ordered the double Hawaiian hamburger. We dont drink so we order the agua de jamaica. Everything was flavorful. Service was fast and friendly. A lot of people go for the alcohol drink specials so it can get a little loud other than that we will definitely be going back to try their seafood platters.“

However, this location is fairly new so you won't see many people here yet, so don't be discouraged to try out this place. We barely discovered it and it's so close to us! Shavon kept the drinks coming! The owner is hands on, friendly professional and made sure to show us out of towners hospitality. After a few dances and drinks we ordered food to go. “We have been lucky to attend this hall on multiple occasions from a production company standpoint. The hall is not the best for sound reinforcement as you will need a separate rig pointed to where the main entrance is to ensure you will have even coverage for all patrons. However, it is a minor detail that with the right professional shouldn't be a problem. The catering was very good and the space looked very nice. Would recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice event space.“

Mild complaint: the ingredient prep have rather large cuts? I.e. larger chunks of avocado, cucumber, etc. the result is less dispersed ingredients in the poke bowl.

Despite that, freshness of ingredients are great.“
