“Craved crab rangoons, so found the closest spot. I purchased an order of crab rangoons (6), a large wonton soup, and a regular bubble tea.
This place actually surprised me with how much I loved it all! The crab rangoon filling is different than I've had before, it was so creamy and they were excellently filled. The bubble tea was delicious and a large size.
The wonton soup was the shining star that prompted me to write a review. I love this soup and always have to prepare myself for the oily feeling in my face. Not only did this soup not leave me feeling salted up, it was so tasty and fresh! The wontons were delicious and the green onion on top was crunchy.
I'll be coming back for more soup, it's worth the drive for me!“

“Overall quite decent for the prices of their menu. Ill say just let her know if you need some time to solidify your choice when ordering. I knew of a place that was better than Canton for a while but that place now serves too many veg and skips out on chicken beef or shrimp. So maybe now carton is among the best Chinese spots in north Chicago.“

The textural contrast between the shatteringly crispy wonton sheet and the soft, chewy crepe was downright addictive. “I sat in and got the birria tacos, and they were SO good. The horchata, churros, rice, and beans were delicious and tasted authentic too. I’m extremely picky when it comes to Mexican food, so I don’t say this lightly, but everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. The owner was also incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience feel really warm and comforting. You can really tell they care about the food and the people who come in.

Definitely recommend giving Taco Verde a try if you’re in Glenview. 10/10! ❤“

The Kung Pao Chicken is one of my favorites along with their Pork Fried Rice, but I have enjoyed many of their dishes - BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers, Beef Chop Suey on crispy chow mein noodles - all delicious. The servings are large - plenty to share or take home for tomorrow's lunch. All the staff are friendly and efficient, and you can eat in, pickup or order delivery. Try House of Wah Sun; you won't be disappointed.“

“Loved the food here! I went here with friends and family for the first time, very memorable! We went as a larger group of around 12 people. At first the staff told us that we would have to wait 30 minutes, but instead they decided to push a few tables together—so we could sit. It was very kind and thoughtful of them!! I absolutely loved the food, the sanji and dumplings being my absolute favorite! My least favorite dish was the chili pepper chicken, it tasted acidic and me and my friends ate the rice rather the chicken. Its personal preference though, so you might like it! The atmosphere was very nice and personally very cute in numerous ways!“

“Let me start by saying that this place is one of a kind! I love trying out their special for the first time! It did not disappoint at all!

I ordered sesame chicken special for pick-up. I came in and waited patiently till my ordered arrived, so i looked around and I was intrigued by that fish tank with huge fish. It wasn't too crazy busy when I came in, but otherwise I enjoyed my first visit inside. The lunch special only costed me $8 with crab lagoon & fortune cookie! Best affordable deal ever!

The food was just amazing and I see why it took long for it to be made. They put lot of love and care with the big portions! Sesame chicken was flavorful and juicy, chicken fried rice and simply tasty, and crab ragoon was honestly really good despite trying it the first time.

Tasty, Filling, and good Portions even when you Order a Small. They also have delicious Fruit Slushies. I love that they Don't use Vegetable Oils or MSG. Other than that I do have to say they're sweet and sour chicken is probably the best around. They're fried rice is also delicious. “I first went to this place after seeing an instagram review of it and once I realized it was close by, the rest is history. The first time we went it was very busy and we had a bit of a wait, but we got to speak with the owner who said theyve had the same staff for the last 25 years (if im remembering correctly) and that they had been having alot of business recently, so if you go you better be patient and nice to them!! She was so sweet and all of the staff was kind and helpful. The jajangmyeon and sweet and sour pork were sooooo good, along with the crab rangoon and spicy seafood noodle soup. We have since come here very consistently for take out and it is ALWAYS delicious, quality, and has extremely generous portions. They have great seating for groups. This place has my loyalty ❤“

“The food is always solid, poIite staff, pretty fast outside of lunch/dinner hour. If you are looking for a recommendation, you can't go wrong with the basics: chicken fried rice, orange chicken, egg foo young, or wonton soup. Items I also recommend: Mongolian beef or salt and pepper shrimp.

A lot of Chinese American restaurants can have a sort of mass produced feel and use the same suppliers but you can tell a lot of love and pride goes into the food here.“

“This place is one of the best restaurants I've been to in the northern suburbs, it's hard to find good Sichuan style Chinese food but this place has it. I got the twice cooked chili fish was my favorite dish, the Mongolian beef had thick cuts of tender beef and seafood garlic fried rice was full of shrimp scallops mussels and fish. The menu has so much to choose from, I look forward to visiting again“

“Kind of expensive. Cabbage with a few drops of bacon $16.. two small spicy hotpot fish didn't taste so fresh sliced into 4 filets $50. Overall atmosphere is good and clean and plates are brought out by robots first before the server put them on the table. Overall probably would go back again but not ordering those two items.“

“We called and were told they would be open for our family event. Door was locked and lights off when we got here at noon. On our way back to the car we noticed the back door was open and when we asked they said they were ready to serve and went to unlock the door. By 1215 we were seated with ice water. 4 people had all you can eat sushi and 2 ordered off the menu. Off memu options were very large portions. We left happy and satisfied if not full. There was a discussion about who would pay the bill - I did not see it.“

“I love this place.! The food has always delivered for me. I have been ordering from this place for a long time now. That being said recently I have noticed that the smoky chicken that I absolutely love from this place (no other place around me seems to have smoky chicken option) has had a bit of a texture change from how it used to be sometime ago. It seems to be a little more fried/crunchy rather then tender which is where it is the most delicious. I can't describe it exactly but I know it does not have the same texture as it once did. It is still very good regardless and I will continue to get it but I hope this gets seen and maybe offer some kind of explanation but I recommend this place!“

“Food was pretty good in you're in a pinch, plus they open early. The interior is cozy and neat and their service was quick and amicable. Ordered chicken curry, chicken fried rice, and a couple of eggrolls. The eggrolls were pretty standard and the fried rice was tasty, albeit just a bit too oily, and the chicken curry was fragrant and scrumptious but not as spicy as I would have preferred.
