“This McDonald's is a Hidden Gem. This may be one of the only McDonald's with a working Play Place that you can almost bet the house that it's open. Hot cold summer winter something that my kids really enjoy. Food was hot drinks were cold service remind me of days of old. My hat's off "and shoes" Ronnie McDonnie! This McDonalds makes me appreciate the small things this town has to offer!Parking: More than plenty of spaces to park and it looks like this is the place for truckers and buses as well.Kid-friendliness: This place is all about the kids huge Play Place nice and clean safe all the right things and all the right places even Nets to keep the kids safe when they're up at the highest part of the play placeWheelchair accessibility: You can roll right on in no problem“

“I’m a regular here and frequent during the warmer days, this place right here is like no coffee shop I’ve ever been too. If you have time please check it out, there is a Starbucks the same distance away maybe even closer and I go out of my way to come here because of the fantastic coffee and staff.“

“This place is so cute. Walls covered in books you can buy, nice drinks, and a ton of vegan baked goods (not all, but they are clearly labelled!). My partner and I had a blast drinking wine and playing games, and the scones are amazing. They also have various gifts for sale - mugs, candles, cards, etc. They even have a flavor of vegan ice cream! New favorite for sure!“

“I have been looking for a place that serves like a Cuban coffee shop, and I stumbled upon this place. I feel like this place is underrated because you would pass this time so quickly while driving through Gravois Street, but don't pass this place up and check them out!There are two stories in this shop, so there is plenty of space for all the guests considering studying here. I love the wood-styled table and chairs; it is a gem!I ordered an iced cafe latte and then the chicken panini.I highly recommend this place, and the service is fast!“

“So I used to live next door to this place.I had a fiance who was up to no good and pocketing the rent.When our antique row fairy tale ended they bought our building and expected me to pay some undisclosed amount of back rent (pay the rent again sucker! This is a great place to grab something caffeinated or maybe a pastry...or both, and check out some very cool artwork. There is a good amount of seating as well, so if you are looking for a laid back atmosphere to study or get some work done Catalyst is definitely a unique place to do so.“

“The bagels are great. It would be very helpful if their website had the ability to order and pay online. As it stands now, one has to call ahead, then stand in line and pay. Nowadays, things should be more efficient. The place is small, and I would think they would want to clear customers out as quickly as possible.“

“I tried this place today for the first time and had a great experience. I don't eat a lot of spicy food (they have a lot!) So finding something I wanted was tricky, but I LOVED what I got. I was going to get the broccoli Mac and cheese, but the employee at the register recommended the tortellini salad and wowza!! I ordered it without Brussel sprouts, and it was incredible.“

“We visited this spot today. If you're looking for somewhere cozy, this is it. The "library" selections were very intriguing. The food tastes were on point. He had the chauvinist pig and I had the pulled pork nachos. Yummy yum yum. we will be back. Oh and covid 19 vaccination enforcement, was real. I can truly appreciate that. “We stopped in the neighborhood to try a restaurant next door that happened to be closed. We stumbled into Milque Toast looking for dinner, and I’m so glad we did! The egg salad toast is exceptional, as well as the rose cream soda. The employee working was so friendly and helpful, we felt right at home! He even brought us cookies and milk to complete our meal - which were amazing. We can’t wait to come back!“

“This place is great! I had the breakfast frittata, which was absolutely delicious. I also had the an oat milk latte, which was perfect. Their prices are amazing! My total was only $13 for my coffee and breakfast. Also, their alternative milk is free which o really appreciate. I love the decor and atmosphere, all the windows makes everything feel bright. I had to go back for a little pick me up after working there for a little bit, I got a chocolate croissant and it was delightful. Definitely check this place out!!!“

“Stopped in with a couple co-workers over lunch for some coffee. It was our first time being there and it was empty, aside from the owner. She was very lovely. The inside is nice and spacious, calming music playing, clean. It was a nice place to sit and chat for a while. I got an iced white mocha and it was good. Prices are very reasonable. We'll be back.“

“The food here is absolutely delicious on top of being very creative. The drinks are pretty basic as far as coffee shops go but the baristas are always on top of it. Everyone is very friendly and every time I’m here I can always hear the workers laughing. It’s quite an entertaining environment especially when the workers can take a joke and run with it.Vegetarian options: A good portion of the meals can be made vegetarian or gluten free, just ask to ensure they have it in stock.“

“The food here is memorable! I love the ultimate egg Benedict gluten-free bread. The coffee was good, the vibes were warm. I gave service a 4 because a glass of water was forgotten and we had to change someone down for coffee. But they were kind about it and responded quickly. Maybe just need to check in with customers a tab bit more.“

“This is such a great little place to stop by for breakfast or a quick bite for lunch. The staff are always so friendly. I love getting an iced Americano with honey, cinnamon, and heavy cream; they make it the best!! The soups are delicious and I haven't ordered something I didn't like. Really you can't go wrong when you order food from Teaspoons. The sandwiches, soups, breakfast options (especially the oatmeal) are so good. I highly recommend meeting a friend for a quick lunch to catch up or grab a bite to go.“

“I’ve been here multiple times, their food is delicious and their boba drinks are fantastic. The customer service is excellent and their workers are very kind. The first time I went it was very busy so it was a little messier. But everytime since it’s been very clean. I had their peach tea and their passion fruit tea, both were delicious. I also had both their taiyaki (Nutella) and their strawberry bingsu. Both were delicious but I suggest sharing the bingsu. It’s a lot for one person.“

“Small coffee shop in a pretty part of town. It's worth getting a cup and walking the park in the morning. The lattes were very good. Tried the gooey butter cake. It was a bit thin, but didn't feel as overwhelming as other versions.“

“Got here super early in the morning driving from Texas up to Chicago. This is the hottest coffee I have ever had the pleasure of burning my tongue! “This cafe is located downtown next to a hotel and isn't hard to spot either. When I walked in and went to look at the menu I was greeted by a cook with a warm and friendly smile. Me and my husband ordered the California Croissant and it's basically a regular bacon egg and cheese croissant but just with added avocado. These are not that big in size, kind of small in my opinion, but the flavor was there and we enjoyed it. $5.99 for each one which is pretty decent. If I returned I would probably get something else with it as well.“
