“As far as Italian restaurants go, this has got to be one of the best in the area. The food is always amazing and the atmosphere is very welcoming. A great family restaurant. Prices are a little on the higher side, but honestly, for the quality, it's not bad if you're going for a special occasion or a treat.Dietary restrictions: Everything on the menu can be made gluten free.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs and the entrance is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. There us also plenty of room in the dining area for a wheelchair to move around.“

I see a lot of negative reviews from Karen types, people not understanding how coupons work and wanting things for free because they don't understand expiration dates or terms, people with that "the customer is always right" mentality expecting to be babied. It is a suburban location so none of this is surprising. But it has driven the rating of this restaurant way lower than it should be. “Really good ice cream. Me and friends went here today since everything was closed and we thought this place would be mid.But, man this ice cream really is good. I would say it’s even on par with basking robins or prolly even way better than that. I would recommend the dark cherry and coconut scoops which was recommended to me by one of the employees. Also, I gotta say this is also the only place in Chicago that is very hospitable and service is amazing. “What an absolutely wonderful experience! The people working were helpful, kind and full of suggestions. We got a tiramisu "cookie" which had the texture of a moon pie, not sweet, just perfect in flavor. The brioche with sausage, egg, cheese paired perfectly with a coffee. The shortbread with dark chocolate, sea salt and strawberries was delightful. Lastly, the chocolate chip, sea salt and tahini cookie was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I'm definitely coming back. For those flavors it was worth every penny.“

“Foodwise, is truly a wonderful story, somebody in the kitchen knows what to do and that translates all the way to our braines stirring waves of good sensations.Their turkish culture habits, the hours limitation for certain types of food, do not always overlap with other's schedule or expectations. The staff is very polite and forthcoming but that's so much they can do.The atmosphere is a bit bizzare, the music for example, is not in tune with the specific, the way that the tables are set, suggests rather a train fare than a regular restaurant.Their sweets shop however, is there to take away all possible clouds and make your day.Parking: Plenty of parking“

“TL;DR - If you’re even slightly thinking about coming here, just do it. Revolution has the best beer in the city, fantastic food, and incredible staff.A lot of breweries in Chicago excel in making their one or two specialty styles of beer, and that’s it. Revolution, on the other hand, is able to guarantee high quality and incredibly drinkable beer across just about every style you can think of. I normally hate those dark, boozy, 15+% ABV beers, yet I drink every single one that Rev puts out and I love it. Their “Hero”-series IPAs will make even the biggest IPA hater second guess their hatred. And their sours (usually released during the summer) are so good, you will question how something this good can be alcoholic. Revolution doesn’t put out a beer that isn’t incredible, so you can pick a beer at random and be sure to enjoy it.Recently, the Brewpub renovated their space and, with it, re-did a lot of their menu. The space is cozy, yet upscale (the seating is significantly comfier than it once was with new plush seating). The new food is also really high quality - much higher than you would expect from a brewery. A lot of detail is put into plating and presentation (Mushrooms & Tofu, for example, looks like a piece of art), and still it tastes somehow even better than it looks. In addition to more upscale menu items, you’re also able to get a lot of that “typical” bar food here that fully delivers (pretzel, cheese curds, fries, etc.). The only gripe I could possibly have here is on the pricing of some of the food. This does not apply to the whole menu though, just some items that feel like they are priced higher than they should be (e.g. Lion’s Mane mushrooms, a starter, costs the same as the Mushrooms & Tofu, an entree, despite being significantly less food and sharing some similar ingredients. Why?!). If you can view this less as a bar and more like a nicer restaurant (which, with the renovation completed, is easy to do), then the pricing is a lot more palatable.The ambiance, food, and drinks are all great, but it’s the staff at Revolution that keeps me coming back though. They’re all so friendly, personable, passionate, and professional - they are the kind of people that make your night out feel special. My fiancé and I have celebrated birthdays, engagements, job offers, anniversaries, and so much more here because of how wonderful the staff are in celebrating and creating such a fun environment to be in. They make Revolution a place we want to go whenever we want to have a good time out. There are just too many people to name (Magnolia, Drake, Erwin, Makenna, Amy, Matt, just to name a few) - but rest assured that we love just about everyone who has served us here. So much so, that my fiancé and I are getting married here later this year!This is the easiest 5 stars I have ever handed out. I have so little to say about places that are “meh”, so the length of this review should show how much I love it here. I’ve come here at least every week for the last 2+ years, and I don’t have any intention of slowing down anytime soon. “Super fun joint. A lot of good vibes and reasons to hang around. The food, overall, was tasty, but the pizza left some to be desired. You can tell they put great care and detail into every decision. The pizza just didn't do it for me. Could've been the bold claim of "best cheese pizza in Chicago." I appreciate the bravado, but unfortunately, it came with little fanfare.“

Within 20 minutes of our arrival, there was a wait for seating.As an appetizer we ordered the Flaming Cheese (Saganaki) And it was phenomenal. They automatically give you a platter of toasted bread and it was the perfect accompaniment.I ordered the chicken kebab meal which came with a soup and my choice of side. I chose the lemon chicken soup and greek potatoes...my tummy was in agreement with my choices.My friend ordered the Moussuka and it was a large portion that also came with soup and choice of side...she chose the mixed veggies and they were truly delicious.We tried the dandelion greens because neither of us had had them before. They weren't my fav but my friend loved them. This was simply a matter of preference nothing more nothing less.My friend got a baklava to go because we were too full for dessert at that moment.The portions are healthy, service was top notch and the food was obviously quality ingredients. There is something for everyone on this menu!“

“Our party of three arrived at 4:30 pm on a Thursday, after attending a wake nearby. We were seated promptly near a floor length window that opened up to the outside. We ordered cocktails and a wonderful cheese and meat plate with crackers, fruit and jam for $22, a bargain that easily fed three people. We were also served complimentary french bread with salted butter, a nice bistro touch. We then ordered three entrees and a wonderful bottle of a Cruze-Hermitage red wine for $75, another fairly priced item. The entrees were all below $30 and each of us brought home enough for another meal. We then split the bread pudding which was also large enough to bring some home. We spent a little over 2 hours. We were never rushed and the service was well paced. During our meal, live music was played which was a ice background noise but not too loud where it interfered with our conversation. It was a wonderful meal and I high recommend this restaurant.“

“Great family owned restaurant on quaint street in downtown Westmont. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Go on Friday night- live jazz! Food was wonderful- homemade pasta with banana peppers was delicious. Owner checks in with each table to make sure everything is going well. Our server was friendly, competent and very patient with us when deciding what to order. Would go again!!“

“ERIS not only makes some of the best ciders but also some incredible food, all within a comfortable industrial-chic space (and tons of outdoor seating to boot). Nowhere else in the world would I be able to find a dry cider aged in Malort barrels (Apfel Ort) and holy cow, I ordered it twice! For a more standard drink they also have lots of ciders and a few beers on tap. The fried pickles, fish and chips, burgers and fries are all top-notch. I can't wait to go back!Vegetarian options: My wife tried the cauliflower wrap which was a deliciously spicy vegetarian option. The fried pickles are also great!“

“04/02/24 - What an awesome add to the neighborhood. Teriyaki Madness is in the mall next to The Smash burger on Foster Ave. It's less than 1/2 mile from my house. I actually sampled their chicken teriyaki @ a Yelp event up in Lake Bluff @ Bernie's Book Bank. Teriyaki Madness has a store up in Gurnee, IL The teriyaki comes in 3 different sizes, Junior, regular or large. I ordered the regular sized chicken teriyaki bowl & it was more than enough for me as I had a little bit of left overs to take home. They have different options like regular or spicy chicken, chicken breast teriyaki, steak teriyaki, salmon teriyaki, tofu teriyaki & chicken katsu. Wry good seasoning w Great options. They also have appetizers like edamame, egg rolls, chicken potstickers & crab Rangoon. I was very pleasantly surprised w/the grilled chicken teriyaki served over brown rice w/veggies like cabbage & broccoli. I really enjoyed my meal & scarfed it down. I will definitely be back to try some of their other items like the steak teriyaki or chicken katsu.“

“Not gonna lie, I ended up here because my husband and I needed a quick snack, and I tried to go to Choo Choo down the street, but they were packed. When I walked in, there was a long line, and that seemed promising, plus it was moving quickly. We wanted something savory, so we ordered a ham and cheese croissant, a goat cheese and pesto croissant, and a spinach quiche. They warmed up the pastries and brought them out to our table pretty quickly. I was surprised the pastries were so good. The croissants were so flakey and delightful. The spinach quiche had a lovely crust. I completely forgot to take pictures because I was in a rush and starving, but I also saw a security sign that said no camera allowed. I wish they had more savory pastry options with meat, but the ham and cheese croissant was all they had when I visited. I did see that they had sandwiches that could be ordered, so I might try that if I am ever in the area again.“

“Always a great experience here. It can get crowded on the weekends but I never have waited a long time to sit or for service. The food is very good! They have a lot of different options including fun shakes! My favorite is the southwest omelet! I loved it as a skillet and tried is as an omelet and fell in love! “we had tofu pad thai and tofu green curry noodles and they were both amazing. i love thai food and have been to at least 10 diff thai places in different states too, but this is hands down in my top three favorites. the tofu in my pad thai was cooked to perfection, crispy but not too much and the portions were great. we loved the thai tea from here too, their style was more creamy than i’ve had at other places (or how i make it myself) but it was tasty and makes me want to make it like that at home :) great service too everyone was nice and it was great thank you“

“So right off the bat, if you like ham in plentiful supply, this is your spot. Pretty busy suburban joint, good for a variety of breakfast items. What I would recommend is anything with ham. I don't know if they have a pig farm in the back but these guys load your plate with ham to the point that white flags come out and pants get unzipped. I had the omelette (with ham, obviously). It was tasty - but the egg ratio to ham was too little. Next time I will, and would recommend the skillet with scrambled eggs. The omelette was super thin, where is the scrambled eggs that my friend had seem more proportional dish . Service was OK, not great. Coffee was not bad, also not great. Fresh squeezed orange juice is lights out though, so I would definitely recommend that. I will definitely go back, just a little bit wiser this time .“

There was a mix up with my order on their end and they rectified it by driving out the correct ones to me in the same day since I needed them for Easter. The customer service is amazing!!! I will recommend them over and over! (The Key lime pie and Tiramisu are both so delicious! My dad said the eggplant Parmesan was delicious.) So happy they exist for us gluten free peeps! “This place has special fish Fry during lent. This is a cute irsh brunch spot normally. They had a lot of st paddy's day themed things but I passed. The good. Coffee with actual cream not the pre package junk. Great coffee service as well though it would be nice to add this to the waiting area. The staff was great aaa all the way. The omelets was good, fairly fluffy and a good balance of fillings. The average The pancakes were good not great. I may try some specialty cakes next time. The bad Well good place equals wait time on the weekend. Not sure if that was real maple syrup, if it was it was not the best. The side of potatoes while generous, had little to no flavor. Had to salt and pepper the heck out of them, and just left them in the end.“

“I have eaten in at the Logan Square location and have gotten delivery from the River North location. This is my go-to Asian restaurant and the food is delicious. The kalbi is savory, tender, and sweet. Tastes as fresh as off the bbq. You can’t go wrong with the spicy pork belly or the bulgogi, either! Delivery is amazing, and eating in is equally amazing. “Let me start off this review by stating that i do not write reviews, never have and will not start to, BUTT this cafe is so underrated! I need everyone to understand how good their food and drinks are. Now just to clarify I know nothing about protein or calories but I do know a little something about GOOD FOOD. Ive been going to this location for over a year now and have had the opportunity to try their different menu items, Ive also had the pleasure to get to know one of their managers, Taylor. A very lovely woman, comfortable aura and I always have pleasant conversations with her. Moving on to their food and drinks, the first thing Ive ever tried was a regular chicken panini and my lord that first bite was immaculate. The way they stacked all the ingredients and panini pressed the sandwich bread makes eating it so much fun. ALSO they add apples...APPLESSS and guess what? its so fricking good, something about the sweet crisp taste of apple and the savory/salty meats and spice goes so well together. ugh 10/10. The next thing I got to try was their arroz caldo soup. It transported me back to 8 years old and it was one of those very unforgiving cold days, just coming back from school, opening the front door to the smell of your grandparent's or parent's caldo de res (latinos know) proceeding to have 2 and half bowls then knocking out. Yeah 9/10 good soup. Next was smoothies and Im not going into detail on the smoothies, they were very delicious and filled me up quite right, they were good size for the price and all are very different. The ones Ive tried were the power monkey (my favorite ughhh so good) the twenty 5 thirty 2 (very filling) and the super mario (somehow feels like im drinking some type of dessert and i love that). lovee 9.5/10. The last items Ive tried were the detox shots and oh boy.. Ive tried the good cocktail and the ginger shot. I didn't know that my bowels had the power to go into overdrive like that but they did. These shots for sure do what they claim to do and I love that I get exactly what I pay for. 9/10 but making sure to plan the day accordingly. The cafe is very chill and decorated nicely, clean and order to pickup time is quick (unless busy but dont be a douchebag and rush a masterpiece) I always go with my usual and its always so consistently delicious. Like I said earlier managers/employees are very welcoming and polite, even the boss will come and have a conversation with you and he is very nice and has jokes (funny guy over here). They also have another location in Wicker Park and it is also very nice, slightly bigger so there is more seating and has the same quality of food and drinks. And they do have more menu items so take a look. overall 9.5/10“

“Our 1st time at L. Woods. It was a cute place. Loved all the room signs & pictures throughout the restaurant. I had the French onion soup to start it was sooo good! For our main meal I have the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, my momma had the 1/2 slab of ribs with mashed potatoes. The food had such a good flavor & soo good. For dessert we split the turtle sundae. We definitely will be back soon!“

“The food was really delicious and it is a big plus being able to get healthy, vegan choices that taste good. Everything we had was amazing!! I so recommend it if you want to eat healthy or just introduce yourself to healthy choices. Our server also was so nice!“
