“Taking the order was fairly quick but there appeared to be only 2 baristas. I had to ask about my croissant. Just seemed a little chaotic.

Vegetarian options: It’s vegetarian if you eat eggs and cheese.

Kid-friendliness: The place itself is small. So maybe difficult with toddlers.“

“One of my favorite coffee shops in town. Their coffee is rich and delicious. Their pastries are yummy. My dog loves the pup cup. My only criticism is that I wish the dining room was larger. Does have a drive through, but the entrance is in really weird spot behind the store.“

“Tldr; help a local business (Sugar and Rhyme in Elgin) thrive so I can always have amazing croissants I have discovered an absolute gem in Elgin. I have been missing out big time. If you haven't been to Sugar and Rhyme yet, and you love croissants, please go. Also I've only tried one latte, but I like it. So report back with your findings on that matter. I went to visit family in Europe back in like 2008. This place makes the best croissant I've had since then. Like, hands down. It's easily of equal quality. I can't get over it. And they make everything in house. Fresh. Daily. INCLUDING!!!!! all the coffee mixins. The only sad thing is that the store is really small, so you're probably not going to be able to find a seat. But you should still go. I want this place to absolutely thrive so I can have a steady supply of their croissants. Don't let me down, people. P.S. “Joe Donut is at the Gas Station.
They offer more than just donuts, including breakfast and lunch menu.
I tried the Veg-Head Sandwich (in a Biscuit) and it was Yummazing.
Service was excellent - both ladies were ready nice.
I highly recommend trying it out.“

“I love getting my morning coffee from Elder + Oat a few times a week. It is a little bit of a haul from my house but totally worth it. Have usually get their monthly seasonal cold brew I have never disliked it. Nicole is the sweetest barista! I highly recommend this cute coffee shop!“

“I love coffee but I don't love paying ridiculous prices for it- I even think Starbucks is overpriced. This place charged extra for everything including getting your coffee iced! I paid $20 for 2 coffees, which is practically highway robbery. Luckily for them, I was in such a hurry that I didn't pay attention to anything but grabbing my drinks and going. To their credit, both beverages (warm salted caramel spice latte & caramel vanilla iced latte) were delicious. Coffee is strong. Never going back though :(“

“This squirrel ?️ and his nutty ? friends always enjoy trivia night at worlds fair located at Bell works ?. On Thursday the happy hour is from 4-6 followed by trivia night. We are all looking forward to coming back for more week day fun.
The food is ok, the menu is small with very little to chose from. I won't recommend going for the food but the free foogball tables, hanging bar swings and relaxing outdoor patio has a great vibe. The happy hour drink prices are hard to beet.

“A must go-to for coffee/café connissures. The Seventh Heaven latte is the perfect balance of sweet flavors without going overboard on the sugar. I paired my latte with the Amarillo Chipotle sandwich. An absolutely delicious spicy twist on the classic bacon, egg, and cheese. Jesse helped me decide on the order and I'm so glad he did. The staff were kind, professional, and most importantly know what they are doing with their food and drinks. 10/10“

The cake was beautiful like a wedding cake, and it was very tasty, lots of strawberries in the layers. It definitely brought more joy to my daughter’s birthday party. “Outside seating! We visit multiple days a week for breakfast for the great service, including an amazingly fast kitchen. Their potatoes are the best around--tender inside and crispy outside. One of our favs is the Country Fried Steak. Try the biscuits and gravy too!!!

I don't like using the walk up self order, but they clued in and took my order in human mode, which I appreciate. The staff noticed I might be sitting in and did a double check of the dinner area, which was good and clean. I did chose to stay outside,it's a nice Sunny morning. I hope to visit Offen.“

“I pretty much come here daily because it's close, and i'm so grateful that i'm close to a good location! The staff is always friendly, the line always moves fast. It's a small Drive thru so sometimes you worry the line is long, but the staff moves it so quickly! I'd say about 90% of the time the staff is super friendly and calls me by name and is kind and personable. My order is almost never wrong, and one time it was, they fixed it immediately and even offered me the incorrectly made beverage for a friend.“
