The steak frite was just ok, and a bit more on the well done side when we had requested medium rare. Desserts were fantastic also. One thing was that I mentioned while making the reservation was that we were celebrating two special occasions here and they weren't acknowledged! “I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“Mariscos San Pedro has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. The tuna tostada is amazing, definitely do the otoro upgrade. You can’t go wrong with any of the whole fish options, each are so flavorful and tender. The cocktails are really great and they have half priced bottles of wine on Mondays. I was hesitant but one of the chefs was explaining the Sonoran hot dog, and I️ couldn’t resist, it was amazing. They recently launched their brunch menu too and they have a lot of great selections and the pastries are incredible“

“GO TO SUDA’S!!! This was the best falafel and baklava I’ve ever had. Miriam, our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and so accommodating — multiple things were sent to us on the house and after we tried the Arak “milk of lions” and didn’t like it due to its strong liquors taste she was quick to taking it off of our bill and was very receptive of the feedback. You have to try the labneh spreads and beetroot mutabbal too! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who is Suda‘s daughter and came to find out that every recipe on the menu is her mom‘s very own. You can taste the love in every bite. The only constructive feedback I have is I wish I came here sooner. 11/10 RECOMMEND SUDA’S!“

“I went in there last week to buy jumbo shrimp $24.95 per LB. Is there new owners in this place. When I got home there was small shrimp with a couple of Jumbo...I should of took a picture. They use to put the fried shrimp in a wax lined brown bag...now they have a with paper container when I got home all was cold. Not wasting my time..“

“Tried the Oak Park location on a Wednesday night. It was FANTASTIC! I got a pound of Alaskan King crab legs, and while they didn’t come with crab crackers, we only had a little trouble breaking the meat out. Phenomenal crab legs. They came with perfectly seasoned red potatoes and corn on the cob. My partner ordered (fried) shrimp tacos and could not stop raving about them. The shrimp was very fresh. We also ordered fresh cut fries and they were outstanding, though they could use a bit more seasoning. But extra seasoning was brought upon request. The owner, Shawn, brought out the food, was attentive to our needs, and even struck up a friendly conversation as we left. Fantastic decor/theme, friendly staff and exceptional service! 10/10, and we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great dinner! Two dinners, since I had leftovers!“

“Possibly the best fried shrimp I've ever had. You can taste the difference that these are wild Gulf shrimp; they are tender and juicy. Literally no one in Chicago is better and I've been to A LOT. And, I don't think anyone is cheaper!

Also this place is clean! Doesn't smell like oil, doesn't smell like seafood; you can trust what you're getting is clean.“

“This is a cute spot. I like the decor. The waitress was nice. We were celebrating a birthday and she was very accommodating with playing happy birthday and bringing out the slice of cake that I purchased. I didn't like the dish that I ordered (shrimp, lobster and crab pasta)! The pasta was extremely salty and the sauce was thick! I sent it back the first time and that provided another one that turned out to be just as bad. It was still super thick but just bland this time. Needless to say I didn't eat it. I just requested a to go tray and gave to a person on my way home who asked me to buy them some food. I said “I'm so glad you asked, here you !” It was my first time visiting this establishment and I won't be returning. However, I wish them nothing but the best.“
