“Crispy Korean style corn dog!! All of them are great especially with Korean ttokbboki, chill paste with chewy rice cake!! After the main dishes, finished with a bubble tea! Ttokbboki was best around this area!!

Vegetarian options: Good!! You can ask as well!

Parking: Huge parking lot!

“Everything I’ve tried so far has been amazing! Fresh ingredients, clean establishment, and friendly staff. The steak and chicken Philly and burgers are my go to but the gyros are amazing as well. The fries are addicting! Give em a try and I’m willing to bet you’ll be a regular.“

“As a Chicagoan, I know my hot dogs, and left bank is, in my opinion, the only acceptable choice for delicious and high quality hot dogs in the area. If you know lake forest, you know it’s a town that takes pride in its history and tradition, and no place exemplifies this history and tradition quite like left bank. This modest little hot dog place has been operating for over 60 years at the same location in market square! New owners in the past couple of years have also done an excellent job of honoring this rich history by returning to the original recipes served in the 60s! Left bank is one of those spots that all the lake forest locals have been coming to their entire lives. Whether you’re in town for college, are just passing through, or even if you’ve lived in the area your whole life, you absolutely have to give these incredible hot dogs a try—careful though, because you’re bound to end up hooked just like myself and everyone else who’s had the privilege of tasting the delicious options available at left bank.

“Clean place but busy! Very friendly. Courteous staff and fast. I ordered Chicago dogs for a group and they were quick to put together the order without mess. The tomato on the dog was the most red ripe I have seen on a sandwich and they didn't stint on the peppers. The menu is extensive and all looked yummy with the exception of the fries..to brown for me. I'll go back again!“

“I had Luke's italian beef with provo and peppers. My husband had a burger and my daughter had a turkey sub. We each had an order of fries (pictured) the portions were generous as you can see. The food is great we do recommend. The staff is friendly. Indoor seating or you can eat outdoors.“

“We moved here two years ago from NY and finally had Josh’s for dinner. Their menu is fantastic, with a lot of different options. We had the Ribs and Greek Chicken dinner. My husband said “these are amongst the best ribs I’ve ever had”. The Greek chicken was amazing. The food portions are more than generous. This will be our Friday night go to place for sure! “I grew up on Super dawg and had to visit on my Chicagoland visit. I was staying closer to the Wheeling location in the Northwest suburbs. They have a true Chicago dog, with neon green relish, sport peppers and poopy seed bun. It was a treat to also find a pickled green tomato.

On the downside, hot dogs seemed smaller and definitely less crinkle fries, in. A smaller box. Perhaps next time I will order just the hot dog and a side of fries as a better value and more fries. They have more food options available for those that aren't into hot dogs. A nostalgic place to visit.

Parking: Plenty of parking at Wheeling location. Limited at Chicago/original location.“

Every week they have different mochi donut flavors, try them all! For the Korean hotdogs, you choose your flavor, then if you want mozzarella/sausage, and a dipping sauce. Also, the actual location is cute and inviting with extra seating in the back. Highly recommend!“

“As a self-proclaimed boba connoisseur and lover of local businesses, I was hoping to add another to my growing list of affordable, quality, and quaint boba joints.

Instead, I opted to try their small selection of quality ice creams. Only 6 flavours are available, but it's extremely customisable and the staff is very accommodating.

I was absolutely blown away by the vanilla ice cream. The taste is subtle and not overpowering, but it's a fresh kind of vanilla I've never had and is sure to please all vanilla lovers. The texture of the ice cream was perfect - it didn't melt too fast, not too soft or frozen, and it was creamy but not overwhelmingly creamy. Simply put, you NEED to try it!

The individual who accommodated me was phenomenal! I unfortunately was unable to ask his name, but he took great care of my vanilla ice cream with oreos in a cake cone. Furthermore, I was able to learn more about the business and how involved they are in the community, which is always a plus.

Although I didn't try their boba, I have no doubt it's as quality as their ice cream. Overall, I love the business and am excited to come back with friends and family!

Parking: The parking is a bit small as the store itself is in downtown Deerfield and located along a busy main road (Rt43/Waukegan Rd). I can imagine during more busy hours, it'd be difficult to find good parking as, other than the small parking lot in the back, you may have to walk to the location.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly! The menu is extremely customisable, especially if you have any dietary allergies.“

I recently had my gallbladder removed, so I have been on a restricted diet for the past 4 months, and really struggle finding food I can eat at restaurants...until I discovered the chicken pita from Photos! It's an excellent low fat option, (2 for 1 on Sundays), and still tastes like you are eating a cheat meal!
