“The wonderful lady at the register was kind and respectful. I really enjoyed the chicken and how it was cooked. The presentation of the tacos were nice and appealing. It was quite place but I was obviously there around lunch time so I good portion was men getting lunch while working. Good place to stop by for a good and decently affordable meal.“

“Went all in and got the Cheez-it crunch wrap.I had heard it's got a shorer life span than the tostada based one. In the app you can customize it so did easy sour cream and nacho cheese to help it (added some jalapenos) $7.65 with tax.It was good, a novelty really, I can see why it gets soggy, the cheezits pulverize under the slightest pressure, the crunch wrap gets put through a panni press to toast it. I gobbled it in the parking lot before running some errands and it was as I described. Get the jalapenos, get the extra lettuce. All and all a tasty treat.“

The birria tacos were around $18 and they were very good. My only complaint is that the meat itself could have had more flavor, I think it was not properly salted. But it was cheesy, meaty, and crunchy. They gave me a ton of consume, too much. That didn’t have as much flavor as I would have wanted either, and salt would have helped. But you could just add salt and everything would be 2x as good.
The rice and beans were pretty good.
Also, the salsas that they have are unfortunately not to my taste. They are very spicy, and I love a spicy salsa, but they lack balance and are very one note. They are spicy without any depth or acidity. You may like this kind of salsa.
But the family was very nice and the food was all very good depending on your tastes. Very high quality and I will be coming back again.“

“Oooooorale’! We found another hidden gem! (Well not really hidden, lol) este restaurante está riquísimo! For all of you non-Spanish speakers, this place is delicious! It looks small from the outside, but it’s enormous in flavor! It’s a very cute and nicely decorated place. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. But the food… it rocks! We ordered the Orden de Quesobirria and a Carne en su Jugo and a Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus water) and a Horchata (rice water). The Carne stew was delicious! So many levels of flavors. The birria was fantastic! Levels and levels of flavor. Will definitely be back for the Menudo this weekend. See you all here!“

“I stopped by with my toddler and was immediately greeted by staff. Ordered the breakfast burrito and a taco and rice for my daughter and the food was delicious. The rice was flavorful, the tortilla was fresh and the best part was the agua de Mango. Will definitely have to stop in again and try other items on the menu.“

“Terrace Cantina is hands-down our favorite Mexican restaurant, and it has been for years. It’s one of those truly underrated gems that makes you wonder how more people don’t know about it—especially when it’s so much better than any chain restaurant around.

The food is consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish feels like comfort food you crave and something special at the same time. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, perfect whether you’re out for a casual dinner or celebrating something.

What really sets Terrace Cantina apart, though, are the people. The owners are wonderful, the servers are attentive and kind, and you genuinely feel appreciated every time you walk in. Even our toddler loves it here and begs to go after daycare—which says a lot. They’re patient, friendly, and make dining with a little one feel easy and enjoyable.

“The ONLY bad thing about this taqueria is how long it took me to realize #1 how close it was to my house, and #2 how DELICIOUS all of their food is!!!

This last summer I couldn't wait to sneak out of the house for a quick taco and a good book and their cute little patio section, which I did every chance I got. The staff are all super sweet. They are a cash only establishment.

My three go-to tacos are:
#1- The Texano - Shrimp cooked with chorizo with cabbage.... the shrimp is always fresh and tasty, and never rubbery
#2 - The Arriero - Steak, black beans, peppers, cheese, and nopales, all a perfect combination with one another!
#3 - The Happy Taco - Pork with onions, jalapenos, and zucchini

My husband loves their burritos, but I almost ALWAYS get one, two, or all three of these options when I go. Two tacos generally fill me up because they do a great job of not skimping on ingredients. The inside sit down area is very small, and looks like it could maybe accommodate 3 people at the window area. Still a perfect to-go spot when it's cold. I know I saw another location not too far away, so I'm curious to check them out as well. I usually walk over, but parking finding street parking doesn't seem to be a huge problem either.“

“I tried out the carne asada taco dinner. It came with a scoop of rice, a bean puree, and three tacos. The were tacos very big and delicious and I felt full just eating two tacos and the sides. I was also given a complimentary soup that was in some savory broth, it tasted like fideo. For the quality of service and the price, I think this is a good spot and I would come back again.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I can’t stop raving about the experience! From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed by the vibrant atmosphere and welcoming staff. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh—seriously, even the water tasted super refreshing, which is a rarity!

I decided to try the marlin ceviche, and it was a game-changer. The marlin was perfectly marinated, bursting with flavor, and the presentation was beautiful. For my main dish, I ordered the huevos rancheros, and it did not disappoint! The eggs were cooked to perfection, complemented by a rich and savory sauce that tied everything together. Both dishes were so good that I found myself savoring every bite.

“We were looking for a place which would come to your home with their outdoor grill and cook for our guests.
Although there are many, all require a minimum of 50 guest and the cost is huge. My husband would always pick up tacos from Taqueria El Kacheton, he suggested we ask them if they cater for a small gathering. Luckily they said yes. The cook arrived early to started cooking, everyone LOVED the food. GREAT choice. The cook was professional and attended to what are guests wanted.“

I mentioned that it was my best friend's birthday but there was no birthday mention at all and no dessert offered to her. I'm used to nice restaurants providing this type of service without question. “I ordered a half-diablo, half-green chilaquiles, while my husband opted for the morita ones. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The diablo chilaquiles were definitely made in hell, hahaha! Our favorite part was the side potatoes. The food tasted like breakfast made by grandma! The portions were huge; we only managed to finish half of it. And the coffee had that homemade taste. We’d go back for sure!“
