“The wonderful lady at the register was kind and respectful. I really enjoyed the chicken and how it was cooked. The presentation of the tacos were nice and appealing. It was quite place but I was obviously there around lunch time so I good portion was men getting lunch while working. Good place to stop by for a good and decently affordable meal.“

“Went all in and got the Cheez-it crunch wrap.I had heard it's got a shorer life span than the tostada based one. In the app you can customize it so did easy sour cream and nacho cheese to help it (added some jalapenos) $7.65 with tax.It was good, a novelty really, I can see why it gets soggy, the cheezits pulverize under the slightest pressure, the crunch wrap gets put through a panni press to toast it. I gobbled it in the parking lot before running some errands and it was as I described. Get the jalapenos, get the extra lettuce. All and all a tasty treat.“

This is a family owned business (and owner and family are always there working their butts off and checking to see everyone is happy) and it is obvious that they take pride in what they serve and they really appreciate their customers. I have ordered many different dishes from the menu and everything is always delicious and hot and cooked exactly as I ordered. The margaritas are top notch. My absolute favorite is the cucumber magarita. Make sure to try their tableside guac...so good!!! Carne Asada is excellent. “An absolute neighborhood gem! The food was fresh and delicious. From the minute my husband and I walked in we felt super welcomed. The owner, Dr. Lulu is so kind, funny, and welcoming. We live in the neighborhood and decided to give it a try. Great pozole, great nachos, fantastic lengua, asada cut for tacos is perfecta and tasty, and the fish tacos are actual fish—sooo good! We enjoyed the hospitality and we will definitely be returning! Try the café de casa! Delicious! It was also very nice to see how many regulars she has. You could tell everyone enjoyed Dr. Lulu’s bright personality .“

We ordered the Orden de Quesobirria and a Carne en su Jugo and a Agua de Jamaica (hibiscus water) and a Horchata (rice water). The Carne stew was delicious! So many levels of flavors. “Everything was delicious! We went to Hoja Santa and loved every bite. The butternut squash was surprisingly amazing so flavorful. The ribeye was cooked perfectly, juicy and full of taste. The bone marrow was incredible. You can really tell how much care goes into each dish. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent Katherine is super friendly and attentive. “DELICIOUS! The best chilaquiles in Chicago without a doubt. I'm from CDMX and they are the only ones who know Mexico. The sauce is spicy, the cream is liquid, the jerky melts in your mouth, all very greasy just like in the city haha.
If you miss Mexico or have never been and want to know what good chilaquiles taste like, this is the right place.
