“Absolutely delicious! The hot and sour soup brought the heat, but didn't over power the flavor. We also had a variety of the dim sum, the best was the pot stickers. Fun atmosphere, great service“

“The stinky tofu is really stinky, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside (compared to the one next door). The meatballs and glutinous rice sausages are also good. They are extremely difficult to eat in the United States. Very attentive. Thank you. A must-visit place if you want to eat Taiwanese food.“

“A food court filled with restaurants serving authentic Chinese cuisine. The food here is amazing. I would gladly trade the Americanized strip mall version that passes for Chinese food in the US for the delectable cuisine in this food court!“

“Have been here for breakfast during weekend a couple times. Love the cold dishes, very flavorful and authentic Chinese taste. Also always order the beef noodle soup and the fried dough stick with soy milk. The downside is that sometimes the food quality seems varies. Sometime food tasted like it’s been there for a while. But it’s still a good Chinese breakfast place in Chicago area.“

“Love the food here! Our favorites are the Chicken Fried rice (kids love it!), Chicken with Vegetables, Chow Fun, and BBQ Pork. Prices just went up a little bit, not sure if the online menu reflects this but I tried to upload pics of the new menu and prices.“
“Large parking lot that is usually empty or plenty of spaces. It’s next door to Park to Shop. There are technically 4 restaurants, you may see 5 but 2 of them are connected. The Serbian restaurant is almost always dead, not a lot of customers. It’s a shame because Serbian food is pretty tasty. On the weekends, they have Taiwanese breakfast at Chinese Cafe. Usually a long line. Good mix of Chinese and Taiwanese food. I would like to see them add more of the popular Taiwanese dishes. Prices are usually cheap to moderate. Good size portions.“

“The quality of food has greatly improved since new ownership. For the money this place is worth every penny.
Vegetarian options: I never ordered the vegetarian dinners, but their chop Suey is to die for. And everything is very well priced.
Wheelchair accessibility: I currently stay at BRIA REHAB center next-door. I’m on a REHAB assignment and the amenities
Couldn’t be better. The owners and staff treat you with ultimate respect.“

“This restaurant is tucked in a massive, mostly empty building near an Asian grocery store. It gives the vibes of Beijing post 2008 Paralympics when all of a sudden no one made things look good for westerners. It’s cash only.
Despite appearances, this is the most authentic Chinese food I’ve had since I was in China in college! My husband and I went back multiple times while we were in town. It was great each time. They have an extensive menu so given that it’s not a bustling place, I’m not sure if the more eclectic dishes are super fresh. But again, you’re getting authentic cuisine and that’s sometimes part of it!
The jiao zi are amazing! The portion sizes are great for the price. You can’t get them in this amount or for the cost anywhere else in the Hinsdale or Oakbrook Terrace areas. Definitely recommend!
Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian option for potstickers, dumplings, 2 tofu dishes, and sautéed mixed veggies. They may be able to make other vegetation dishes upon request.
Parking: Parking in front of the restaurant is full up front but the lot itself is quite large. We did not struggle to find a place to park
Kid-friendliness: The building is a wide open floor plan with tables to accommodate families & groups. If a toddler needed to run, there’s lots of space to do that away from others eating. The bathroom, however, would pose a challenge for diaper changes. This building is so massive though that a nursing mom or a diaper changing dad could tuck away in one of the corners and have more privacy than a changing table in a multi stall bathroom. It’s dimly lit on the outer room edges away from the restaurants.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all one floor. There are double doors to go through that may not have an operational hands-free opener. The floor layout has multiple tables with chairs and a free wider, open sections to get to the restaurant counter to order“

“The dumplings are soooooo good. Staff was friendly and answered my questions about some of the dumplings
If it weren't so far away from where I live, I'd be here all the time. I had to take a special trip 40 minutes just to eat here, but it was worth it! I can't wait to come back.“
