“Catered by Design was an incredible vendor to work with and made wedding planning so much easier. Rachel was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to contact and work with. The food was great and we had so many options to choose from. The service was wonderful during the cocktail hour and dinner. They were extremely receptive to any request we had and during the wedding. Our head captain was so attentive to my husband and I making sure everything was going well and checking in to see if we needed anything. We had an amazing experience with everyone on the team and we have only heard great reviews from guests about the food! We loved working with Catered By Design and highly recommend their services!!“

“We are so thrilled that we chose to go with Food for Thought for our August wedding! We got married at the Chicago Cultural Center, and while the venue has a number of preferred caterers, FFT was the one on that list that stood out to us. From the first phone call to the final calls and emails, they were so easy to communicate and plan with. Many of our guests said that this was the best food they've had at a wedding, and we agree we them! The hors d'oeuvres, salads, entrees, and custom drinks were all so delicious; everything turned out perfectly.
I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to Kacilynn, who was the one responsible for planning, organizing, and executing everything for us. When we met her for the tasting, she happily answered all of our questions and was just so fun to talk and work with. I had countless questions and updates throughout the planning process, especially in the final weeks, and she was responsive to everything.
One special thing she helped with was the champagne flutes; I had thrifted, cleaned, and packed over 100 champagne flutes for guests to use and take home, and I had been nervous this would be a burden to them to deal with, but she assured me that it could be done. She took the time to help me decide on a display option for them, and her team cleaned them before and after the event and packed away any leftover flutes. Her attention to detail and her ability to pull everything together seamlessly is truly unmatched.
We are beyond grateful to Kacilynn, her team, and everyone else at Food for Thought for making the food and drinks a true highlight of our wedding!“

I got in the car, saw my wallet in the seat and decided not to go back in. “We had a great experience working with Biagio for our daughter’s quinceañera. Specially with Blanca she is dedicated, honest and always willing to go the extra mile for us. The appetizers, diner, deserts, gelato cart, hot dog cart, delicious! We had all great reviews from our guests. We were able to have an outside organizer decorate the hall for us and they worked very well together which made it possible for us to relax and enjoy the process. All of the vendors were able to communicate effectively with Blanca which helped to make the night very special for our daughter. I was having issues with the app/website and used the chat. Moe was so quick to respond and offered to call me when we were both able to walk through the order together. “Well this is a very late review.. Froggy's catered for my wedding in 2016 and it was top notch. I was Soo happy to see them in business when many has perished. It shows the quality of the food and the team. We still talk about the food and THE CAKE and how delicious everything was. I believe the owner/ the person who was leading at the time was Thierry (Might be the wrong spelling) but if you are reading this , I hope you are doing healthy and happy. Wife, myself and the kids will stop by for some food and cake one of these days.

First time we did not cook them properly and the texture was wrong! Flavor was incredible but they were too chewy. Make sure to follow all instructions for cooking and they make a great meal!“

“We used Inspired Catering for our wedding, and they did an INCREDIBLE job! The team was extremely kind, professional, and executed great service. When we were doing our tastings, Inspired had a great showing. What sold us on them though, was Tom K. We felt so at ease with him, trusted his experience, and really knew that he would do a great job. He was always very honest with us and has a great energy. When it came to the wedding, the Inspired team was efficient and professional. We spoke to a few members of the team as we were getting ready for the day to start, and they were all so sweet and so enthusiastic! Aside from the service, the food was delicious!! We had also used them for lunch catering earlier in the day, and that food was also great. We used them once more at our Sunday brunch at the hotel, and the food was again, great. I have had most of the kinds of pickles as well as the giardinera and must say the quality and love that goes into this food is next level. As i type this I am eating a piece of pizza with large amounts of the new “solar flare “ hot sauce and don’t think I can ever go back to the regular stuff. “I used Frank and his team to cater a graduation event in Chicago last week. I was arranging the event from out of town and Frank was very helpful and responsive as we planned the menu. On the day of our event, the team arrived to my daughter’s apartment (with a very small kitchen) and they got busy. The food was amazing and abundant. The presentation was just as great. From the point of discussing the space, to reviewing the contract, to discussing options, to answering ALL of our questions, to the tasting, to the day of, our event coordinator (not sure that's her specific title) Amanda was nothing short of stellar. She was patient, thorough, and accommodating ensuring that my daughter was comfortable in a very important time of her life. Our event captain (again not sure of her title) Kylie also was amazing -- handling each of our requests quickly and pleasantly. These two ladies are an asset to your company & should be commended for their fantastic work ethic. All the event staff from the bartenders, to servers, to bus boys were pleasant and efficient. The food was delicious as well. Our event was amazing & memorable largely due to the associates we interacted with.“
