“I had looked at the menu before I came here so I knew I wanted The Cuban Sandwich when I arrived. It was fast and fresh. The meat was mouth watering! Was the best Cuban I ever had. I was not expecting this. Hoping for goodness.. but the best!! ???. The service was fast and friendly.

“Jimoto is a great experience and excellent food. The apps and sushi are done very well. As a return customer, they are very consistent and it’s also a great dining environment.
My only comment would be about training the servers on the menu. Wasn’t sure if we had a new one last time, so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, but he wasn’t familiar with the different tuna types on the menu (hamachi, otoro, etc). Still top notch, would highly recommend.“

“THIS IS PROVBABLY THE 10TH COUPLE THAT WE HAVE OINTRODUCED TO GUANAJATO AND IT NEVER HAS DISAPPOINTED! THE SPECIALTY MARGARITA S (DE ORO AND THE BLACK ROSEMARY) ARE THE BEST AND THE EL MOCAHETE AND STEAK FAJITASARE FAVORITES. THE SERVICHE AND CASA FUNDIDO ARE GREAT APPETIZERS. “I won't rate the food because it's only snacks. They do have menus from nearby restaurants though, which is really cool.
This is a wonderful cocktail bar. The bartenders are really good at what they do. I think Luke is usually working when I go there? He is really good at what he does and super fun to watch. Very precise and intentional with the way he makes drinks.
I always feel very welcome and relaxed here. It is sort of strange that it is in the base of an apartment complex. I think if I lived here I would be a bit weirded out by all of these strangers in the lobby of my building.
It's nice to get drinks and then go wherever in the lobby, at the bar, or out in the back patio area of the building.
Trivia on Wednesdays is always fun as well.“

“Made a delivery and the owners had been notified by my employer that it was my birthday. They put together a margarita to go for me and I can honestly say I’ve never had a better one. And the owners were extremely kind even though I was running late.“

“The penultimate neighborhood bar with plenty of characters, shenanigans, and fun! It's our "Just One More" place. Bikers, Rock Stars, and Divas will feel right at home. Live music most weekends, outdoors in the summer in a large parking lot. Everybody who knows, goes there. John & Sparklyn are good people!“

“A family friend took me here with my brother and I am so happy she did! This piano bar has awesome atmosphere and the musicians are so talented, it seems like they can play most songs on the spot. People can write a song request on a piece of paper and hand it to the musicians playing piano with a tip and they will play it! I highly recommend, this place has awesome energy!“

“One of the best places I've eaten from in a good while. The servers were very attentive. Management came out to check on us, which always nice to see. It was our first time here and it seemed very family friendly. There is outside seating! The food was pretty good. I was there on a double date and everyone enjoyed themselves. We will definitely be back.

“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit here and our friends will be back sooner. Great food!!!!“

“We’ve been going to K’s Dugout for quite some time and we really love it! They open at 7am! ( long story) but If you’re looking for a fun no-nonsense neighborhood place to enjoy yourself and the fun connections you can make with neighbors, bar tenders, and the owner Diane, then this place should be at the top of your list! “Wonderful, quirky, local bar. I happened in for happy hour, since I was in the area. Watched some TV with the regulars and traded stories with the bartender. My kind of afternoon! Bring cash. They don't take cards, and maybe stop by for Friday night turtle races!“

“This is my neighborhood dive bar with the big Old Style sign. It might not be your neighborhood dive bar with the big Old Style sign, but it's a damn good one and we're plenty okay with that. There's a payphone, artificial grass patio, cold beer only in cans, but you know taps are always suspicious at dive bars it's nice to just cut that step out. Diverse clientele and regulars, but not the point where it's an old man's club or anything.“

“Went here because I am a Cubs fan and an Anthony Bourdain fan, such a great bar north of Wrigley, very friendly staff, and regulars. If you don't want to stay for a Cubs game I highly suggest the Andersonville neighborhood and you have to go to this bar.“

“I just took my 12 year old nephew here as a surprise adventure. The place is amazing! It’s well laid out. There is plenty to do for every one. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond. And the prices are reasonable for both games and the bar. We will definitely be back.“

“All I know is that the food is so good that I have been here 3 times since it opened (Which has been less then 6 months). I know I should branch out and try the other offerings but I just really love the Tori Paitan and will be back more when the cooler weather is fully settled in.
I also sincerely appreciate that there are good non-alcoholic mixed drinks, because sometimes someone just wants a fun mixed drink but none of the alcohol and there's quite a few options here- expanded even from the menu pictured on Google. There's a really good Yuzu based drink that I also keep getting that is my favorite.
The atmosphere is higher end but not pretentious, and cozy while still being open.
I look forward to bringing more of my friends here.
Parking: Fair amount of parking but it's in a strip mall with other restaurants so you're not always able to find a spot immediately. There's usually more parking in the back“

“Great neighborhood dive bar; good prices, great pub food, pool table, juke box, decent craft beer selection, outdoor seating area, nice mix of clientele. Highly recommend the grilled chicken sandwich, burgers, fried mushrooms and pierogi's with sour cream.
Parking: Free Street parking, never had an issue. You can park across the street in the bank parking lot when it's closed, don't park there when the bank is open!“

“Great, warm interior. Semi-circular tufted seat banquets and wall tables. Ask for server Ned B. Wine and ales very good. An order of Burrata came w toasted rolls, roasted tomato and pesto. “Sovereign is the best type of Chicago dive. Cheap beer, good people, best jukebox you'll find. Much love to them for letting my band do a fundraiser for my buddy's medical bills. The crowd, the staff, and the regulars dug deep and we've covered medication costs for the next couple month“
“The people that go/work here are just nice people, Kyle was my bartender. Food gets five star because anything is welcome. The vibe is chill and just talk with your neighbor type of place.

“A great dive bar that is full of characters. Some good pool players come in and the house rule is straight in, no slop (sorry APA players!). Got a nice seating and smoking area out back and they frequently put out food for sports games and holidays like St Patrick's Day. Oh, Who am I kidding... on MANY frequent nights we visit District House, one of our favorite watering holes. The reason we love this place is because the place is nice and modern with a nice comfy decor, they have an EXCELLENT whiskey and bourbon selection amongst all other spirits, but mostly because of the SERVICE!
The staff, from the owner to each of the bartenders, they treat you like a long time friend. The drinks pack a punch and the ambiance is always upbeat. They strive to provide different events weekly and even nightly and for every mood.
They also have a back patio for private parties or you can host your event inside.
This place is just great, but Uber since parking is street parking and common sense dictates you should.

“My sister and I both ordered the grilled salmon. She asked for her to be cooked through; I asked for mine to be prepred per chef's recommendation. Both of our dishes were prepared to our specifications. Mine was seared on the outside and tender moist on the inside. To add to that perfection, the sunchoke purée had an amazing mélange of flavors. I finished my meal with the Scorza Dolce--also packed with flavor.I have now had three meals that were so exquisitely flavorful that they will stick in my mind forever (previous two are from 1981 and 2005). My salmon at Mino's is now my #1 all-time favorite meals!“
