“I love donuts! I wanted to start with that so you know this is REAL! The "UBE" purple oreo is a really good donut. It's different from anything I've ever had. It's hard to explain, but it's worth trying for sure. Their cinnamon rolls are also very good.“
“Little cafe on the corner, with unique character and charm! Bring your patience on busy days, the seating is pretty limited. Nice and simple menu, with very fair prices. Breakfast was cooked perfect, and overall taste was good. Something was missing for the “wow” factor. Milwaukee based coffee was a nice touch! Entry is ADA friendly but the overall sizing and spacing inside, makes for a huge challenge if you’re using a wheelchair or other item. Overall as nice locally owned place with friendly staff, and good food. Will come again!Parking: Side street parking. There’s no parking lot at the diner, but a large shared lot across the streetWheelchair accessibility: Very limited room to maneuver“
“Great customer service!! It's always busy as soon as they open. Best donuts and muffins in town! If you haven't tried, I definitely recommend you at least try one of their donuts. I have so many favorite from here to choose from to give a recommendation, lol.“
“Free coffee (or discount on others) and an oil change? It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm personally very finicky when it comes to any business that works on cars. They are very professional and they don't oversell their services; they only provide what you ask and certain things you need (should need). I already knew my cabin filter was bad, but that was the only thing they suggested extra after the look over. With the full service they check SEVERAL things. I got to meet the owner which he was very polite and very conversive. The quality of service is top notch. I was in and out in 15 min. Highly recommend. The coffee is pretty good too!Services: Transmission“
“I was highly recommended to this establishment by locals. Mocha was exquisite, never thought mocha could taste this good. Who ever made my mocha definitely mastered the art. Cashier tall dark hair with glasses, soft spoken, really made my experience enjoyable. Left speechless to say the least.“
“Good quality coffee, friendly staff, love that they have a kids area! Cinnamon rolls are delicious.Kid-friendliness: Play area with toys, crayons, and books! It is a little closed off so you dont have to worry about bothering others that may be working or having meetings!“
“Staff is always friendly when you go in and very helpful with any questions. They do provide high chairs, it is kid friendly, but just remember it is a coffee shop and not lots of space for them to move around and play. I have had many sandwiches and coffees and have never been disappointed! I love trying their new flavors of the week. Highly recommend to check them out!“
“Anna’s on the Lake is a great coffee shop and place to get work done or meet up with a friend! The design and layout of the building is very cool, with a lot of seating and views of downtown or the lake. Customer service was top-notch in recommending what I should try and all were super nice creating conversation. Food came out very quickly!“
“My husband and I moved from Seattle to Chicago almost 2 years ago now. We ended up staying at an Airbnb in Waukegan while we waited to close on our house. We were in walking distance to this coffee shop. As a coffee enthusiast and having lived in Seattle over a decade, I've been to MANY coffee shops. This is one of my favorites. The drinks are out of this world good! You cannot go wrong ordering and trying anything on the menu. I'm also obsessed with the Thomas Street coffee that they sell. We now live about 40 min away from Waukegan and I think about this coffee shop almost every Saturday when I wake up and I want specialty coffee. The owner and everyone that works there are also the nicest people all around. LOVE how it's styled, love the merch, the stickers, everything!“
“Delivered an Instacart order to Deshaun and he was generous enough to offer me a coffee. It was delicious. The establishment has a great vibe to it. If you’re ever in downtown Kenosha or just looking for a new spot to try out I highly recommend stopping in!“
“The staff is always super nice. The food is quite good too. They can get a little over run in the mornings, especially on the weekends, BUT they do pull over a few extra hands to help. It is a small operation so there can be a short wait when it is busy but it makes sense that the kitchen area is small given off breakfast volumes. The cafe is super cozy to relax in while enjoying your food and drink. Highly recommend the avocado toast and the pastries are always a treat with an afternoon coffee.Kid-friendliness: Hot chocolate is good and they will make plain toast for the simple kiddos who don’t like regular breakfast food.“
“A great place to have breakfast/lunch. I can’t get over how charming it is. The entire staff is fantastic. I wish I caught our servers name, but she was very sweet, and made us feel very welcomed. My husband got the Chilaquiles Rojo con Carnitas, I got the Meat Lovers Skillet, and our son gets his normal breakfast combo, and EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. Riverside Cafe has gained some new regulars, and I will highly recommend it to everyone.“
“The Barista Maddie made my day so much better. She was so kind and cheerful when taking my order. I went back up about 15 minutes after getting my tea order and asked for a water. She immediately got it for me, which I really appreciated because I was very thirsty. Thank you Maddie!!“
“Comfortable modern cafe and clothing store/gift shop right in downtown Zion next to hotel. Great coffee, snacks, ambiance and friendly service. And really interesting gift items from clothing to purses to home decor ideas! Highly recommend....“
“It's your typical Starbucks. I've always been happy with the service here but keep in mind this place can get busy. Utilize the app and mobile ordering to get your order faster or have it ready for pickup. There is a decent amount of seating if you want to dine in.“
“The store obviously has a struggle with coverage, probably due to the coronavirus and poor work conditions but they always do what they can to make the moment right. The drive thru always seems to be busy, so expect a wait of 5-10 minutes. The cafe, correspondingly, is busy early in the day and random times throughout the afternoon but is maintained and cleaned well. The store I can tell has a few new employees that are still learning and may mess up your drink or order occasionally. There was a barista, Max, I believe, who got me to smile one day in the drive thru and I saw him again inside the next day helping a customer fix an order that was made or ordered wrong and offered to refund the drink if he wasn’t satisfied. Overall, the store is in great condition and has friendly service but does occasionally experience staff and product shortages which usually means a longer wait.“
“We stopped by for drinks and muffins! We are from NS. Canada! Our son lives nearby and highly recommended this coffee shop! We were not disappointed! We were greeted by friendly and kind people! We even had the door opened for us! We felt so welcomed! The muffins were huge and scrumptious! The iced lavender latte was excellent! My son says it is the best in the Kenosha, Winthrop Harbour area! The Americana was also great! Everything taste so fresh! Will definitely make this one of our stops whenever we are in the area?????So thankful that God gives us places and times of refreshing????“
