“Been eating here for years and recommending them for years if you want the best burger in Chesteron/Porter area. Some other favorites are the bacon wrapped poppers, steak or chicken flatbread, soups, and the only place I know that still has homemade pub chips. Just had my first ever minor issue with a cook on burgers and the owner addressed it and made it right. I am looking forward to their new bi-weekly specials to try some new items. Gastro 49 customers for life.”

“I came in on the Fourth of July I kinda figured the staff to be upset they had to work quite the opposite the staff here was more then extremely friendly and helpful they are awesome I’ll be returning just for the customer service and i haven’t even got my food I’m extremely impressed.”

They do not have a large selection on the menu but it's all you need everything is made fresh very healthy. Prepared very well.
We went there twice. And each time was the same everything was very good and very well made
They have a huge selection of teas to choose from. They do have fresh baked goods.
They also have a sister restaurant for Mediterranean food

“We are on vacation at Indiana Dunes and stopped in at Dog Days today after lunch for a treat. Great place, and AMAZING staff! Our kids, ages 5 and 2, changed their minds on what they wanted a couple of times and the two young ladies working were so patient with us as they took our orders. Very clean and a great atmosphere - My kids loved watching the little train overhead. And of course, the ice cream was delicious! Also, they have a family restroom with a changing table, which may not be high on most people’s list but that can be so hard to find in these little specialty shops and as a family with two littles, having those facilities easily available is just a very nice bonus. Highly recommend :)”

“Came here at the recommendation of a good friend was definitely not disappointed. Its a smaller establishment so that was tough to deal with as far as anxiety goes, but we didnt have to wair long to be seated! Dexter aka Spicy White Tuna Roll was our server and he was efficient, friendly, and hilarious! I tried the Dragon Egg (what a masterpiece!) as well as the Autumn Lemon Roll (I LOVE lemon and was quite pleased). You get what you pay for here but it was an awesome sushi time!”

“We ordered a small pizza and two side salads. The pizza came out hot and fresh and the salads were pretty good too. We ate in their outdoor seating area, pretty quiet as it wasn't a very busy night. Definitely a very good first time visiting here, thank you!”

“My staff asked me the other day if we could all order smoothies from Smoothie King. Not being a particular fan of smoothies in the past, I only reluctantly said okay. I’m glad I did. Not only was the service fast and friendly, but the smoothies were amazing! “Went for lunch. There were a couple other customers in the Restaurant. I ordered a steak rice bowl. I added cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, and the tahini sauce. I got the side of the Mediterranean carrot salad and the cabbage salad. The carrot salad was really good. The cabbage salad, however was not what I expected it to be. That is no fault to lemon tree. I just wasn’t personally a fan. The steak bowl itself was really good. The bowl Comes with a pita as well. I personally would have ordered an extra pita.
The food was good. The service was good. There were several tables dirty in the restaurant. The drink station was pretty sticky.
Overall, it was a really good visit and the food was good. Next time I go back, I will try in the hummus instead of the cabbage.”

“Woke up this morning starving ! Well maybe not literally 🤪 woke my husband up and we came I. For breakfast. Was having a rough morning already so when our waitress came up to our table (AMY!) she was so incredibly kind! Smiling ! Helpful! She was “tag teaming” with another waitress (i dont remember her name) but one brought coffee one brought waters and BOTH brought smiles!! When our meals were brought to the table my husband and I (as we always do whether we are at home OR out!) held hands and prayed …. Later Amy came by and said something along the lines of “it was so nice to see you two holding hands and praying in public “… she had already made a comment t how nice it was to see us holding hands …. She really made my morning! Her kindness changed my rough morning to something that turned out to be a great day….AND the FOOD was ABSOLUTELY fantastic as always!!! As a matter of fact it a now 844 pm and I just ate some of my leftovers (ill finish them in the morning!) Thank you to whomever hired Amy! THank you to the chefs in the back for cooking such amazing food! Amy! Thank YOU for making my day much better than it had started!!”

“Enjoyed the 1st floor better last year with the restaurant. Now, overpriced cold cuts and $4 for a couple spoonful's of potato salad. We had never been up to the 3rd floor in previous years since we have children but, now it is open to anyone. Fantastic view, nice selection of vacation style drinks, great tasting tacos and of course, the beach! Worth the 2 hour trip several times a summer. Will be returning for sure............but not on the 4th of July weekend!”

“I gotta send a shout out and a lot of praise to Nick and the crew here. My main issue with Subways in the past, is how hit or miss it can be. However that’s not the case here. Me and my manager order lunch from her about once a week and both the food as well as the service are consistently excellent. My go to is the BMT and I like a lot of toppings, as well as I am one to get some sauces. That can lead to a messy and sometimes straight unmanageable sandwich. Here though, they thoughtfully assemble ingredients in reasonable proportions and adequate amount of sauce. That along with firm yet full bread which is never overly toasted, avoiding that scattering of crumbs with every bite. This all makes for a sandwich I can enjoy as opposed to just trying to keep it from fall apart.
The service is also always pleasant and the team accommodating. I prefer giardiniera on my sandwich but the app doesn’t have that as an option and often I forget to ask for a side in the special instruction. But the crew is alway quick to oblige me, even when they’re hard at work on multiple sandwiches.
All in all, as one who really looks forward to my lunches, it is a relief and a comfort to know that the food is gonna always be satisfactory and often the solace on a particular rough day. Too often these forums are used to berate or complain, so I wanted to take the time to acknowledge and show appreciation for people who seeming put a lot of caring into what they do . Thank yall and keep up the great work!! ☺️🙏🏼”

“Great group of people work in Arby’s, I’m there for my mom at least once a week and they are always polite, professional and respectful.
Bathrooms are clean , dinning hall is clean and warm.
