McDonald's in Fort Wayne

“This is actually one of the nicest McDonald's I've been to ever.....
I have a 30-minute lunch break and I was able to drive there get my food come back and eat before my lunch break was over.
And it was mighty delicious ?

Parking: Parking is good. Drive thru is usually packed.“

“The food was good but I had to stand first in line for 13 minutes and I seen the staff going out for smoke breaks and bathroom breaks a lot in my 15 minutes of being there and a lady stood at the counter wanting to order for a while now one helped her and I showed her how to order off the touch screen to order from.“

“Utilized the drive thru, wait time was reasonable. Attendant who took money was very pleasant however the individual who was attending the second window was very rude. She opened the window, handed out drink, closed window then opened again shoving bag of food out the window then closed window - never uttered a word, did not make eye contact facial expression was that of someone not happy to be working. No napkins were provided.The food was very good, perfectly cooked biscuits and hash browns.“

“Walked to McDonald's with my kids on 1/29/25 they were so short staffed the lobby was closed. A few minutes later a young lady told us we could come inside and they let us use the play place. Tonia and the staff there try so hard when it comes to the customers“

“Normally I wouldn’t review a McDonald’s but this crew went so far out of their way to make up for how long we waited. It wasn’t horribly long (like 10-15ish minutes…lunch rush), but the crew in there upgraded our meal (by quite a bit) and were very concerned about us. And the food they gave us was definitely fresh. I know customers are terrible, especially at places like this, but I hope they keep on keeping on anyway!“

“The drive thru was a little busy but kept moving steadily, had the new Chicken Big Mac which I was excited to try & it was very tasty. This is my second time, everything is good with the new sandwich but the chicken patties can be a hit & miss with them being tender, juicy while dry & bland at other times.“

“Just pop through the drive-through real quick and got amazing service. My car basically didn’t stop rolling because they were re-with my order so fast. And the food was hot. Food is still McDonald’s so it’s not amazing but 10 out of 10 service.“

“This McDonald’s in the heart of the Midwest feels like a small-town gem, with a few regional touches that make it stand out. The first thing I noticed was how friendly the staff were. There’s something about Midwest hospitality that just feels genuine, and this place nails it. From the cashier greeting me with a smile to the manager checking in to make sure everything was good, it was a warm experience all around.

The décor had a local vibe, with pictures of nearby farmlands and nods to the area’s agricultural roots. It was clean and cozy, with plenty of seating, and even though it was busy, the space didn’t feel cramped at all.

The food was the reliable McDonald’s standard, but what really stood out was a special regional menu item: the Midwest BBQ Bacon Burger. It had a smoky flavor with locally-sourced cheese and a tangy sauce that gave it a unique kick. The fries were as crispy as ever, and I couldn’t pass up a Midwest Apple Turnover, which I haven’t seen at any other McDonald’s outside the region.

Drive-thru service was a bit slow, likely due to the lunchtime crowd, but the staff made up for it with their kindness. I even overheard a conversation about the local county fair coming up, which really brought out that small-town Midwest charm.

If you’re in the Midwest and craving McDonald’s, this location is definitely worth a visit. It has all the familiar comfort with a little extra local flair that makes it special.“

“When they get the order wrong.. but they still got the order right... I'm not mad... This was just an existential crisis for 5 minutes thank you so much I smiled.

“I told the window people it was the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE i had ever received from a McDonald's and thanked them for their very friendly, attentive customer care. They were very busy, yet the line moved quick, and our food was actually fresh, hot, correct.“

“Best McDonalds in town. They have a drink fountain still, staff is fast and speedy, they maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, orders are always correct and in great condition. Overall id drive the few extra miles over the one near you and come here if you're craving McDonalds.“

“Ive been to this location about 7 times in total. It's a solid McDonalds, nothing will blow your socks off. Depending on the time you come it'll either be great, or average. Waiting times can be long but that's a given when its lunch or dinner rush.“

“There is this really nice young kid, maybe 18. I was speaking with him maybe within the last three months. It was his first day and he was so nice and professional. He explained it was his first day and to bare with him. Now, everytime I go there, I pretty much get him. It is so refreshing to see young adults out there working and really killing it regardless of his title. He is going places if he puts the hard work in. He is so positive, patient, and really has a sense of urgency where most of the customer service/restaurant businesses are lacking. I don't know what your name is but, keep shining, keep caring because you are being noticed!

“This is my closest local McDonald's. The rating used to be much better but half the time the dining area is closed with no warning or signage. Everyone knows that McDonald's is only good when it's hot so we prefer to eat in real quick. There has even been times the drive thru has been closed over an hour early and has turned down our mobile orders.“

“I think the restaurant could find ways to run little smoother to handle the volume of customers it receives . Witch helps to create better atmosphere and can serve more customers at a quicker rate . Other then that food was good they was polite in drive threw . I enjoyed my visit .“
