“I would rate Bugambilias at 4.5 stars. The restaurant was small, neat, and clean. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was was not salty or greasy and had excellent flavor, which reminded me of good Mexican restaurants in southern California. The salsa was mild but flavorful and not salty. I didn't ask about medium or hot salsa because mild was good for us. My Shrimp Fajita was the best I've had with perfectly seared shrimp and tender but not overcooked or burned vegetables. My companions also loved their Mole Poblano and Beef Mexiote. The fried ice cream and churros were very good for dessert. I recommend it, and we will definitely be back soon.“

“1st time trying Mota Tacos today! It was the best taco place I've been to so far locally. The quality and portions of the food and even the prices of the food was AMAZING. They offer so much on there menu, has great descriptions of the items they have! The customer service was awesome as well, they made sure everything looked and tasted great. The wait time for food was faster than a fast food restaurant as there was also other customers in there as well! If you love Mexican food, you will love this place! 😀“

Their food is quick, their service is excellent, and the overall atmosphere is just a pleasant experience. I’m thankful for places like this that have a true servant heart at the center of all they do they deserve all of our business as they continue to expand and grow. “Party of two, on a Saturday night for dinner. It was karaoke night but the music was not too loud and you could still have a conversation. The only issue was transparency when it came time to pay.
THE GOOD - Nice decor, a better food selection compared to other Mexican food restaurants. The staff was pleasant.
THE BAD - They automatically added a 20% top to our check.
THE UGLY - They were not up-front about the tip. The server came up with a tablet, gave our total, and did not offer to let us review the bill. The total seemed high, and I asked if there was any type of fee. The server said there was an automatic tip. I asked what the percentage was and the server initially stated they did not know but eventually said it was 20%. I paid and was then asked for an additional tip. (This time, voluntary.)
Given that it was karaoke night and we stayed a bit past dinner, I would've given more, but was turned off by the lack of candor.“

“I have enjoyed Puerto Vallarta for over 20 years! It is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant. The service is always friendly and prompt, the food is delicious, and the restaurant is always clean. But the best part is there is no cilantro in the salsa! This might seem like a minor thing to most people, but I have that weird gene that makes cilantro taste like soap so I have to avoid salsa everywhere I go. But not here! Here I can enjoy all the free chips and salsa I want. *happy dance*“
