“We sat for a late light lunch at the bar. The restaurant is small, but intimate. I loved it actually. The bar is very spacious and large. Great drinks, we had great food. The Hummus was made fresh and the vegetable choices were farm fresh! Love that. The pita’s that come with it are fantastic as well. My husband had a sandwich, which he thoroughly enjoyed. I can’t wait to go back and have dinner or brunch!“

“My husband and I took three of our kids to this location yesterday for lunch. We’d never been to a First Watch before, but we knew to expect excellent quality food with a healthy, comforting twist; right up my alley! WOW! We were SO impressed! From our initial greeting coming into the restaurant all the way to the end of our visit, we were treated with happy smiles, incredible customer service, prompt wait times, and delicious meals. Our kids enjoyed chocolate chip pancakes with sausage and bacon. Their protein selections were unmatched with appropriately larger portions than most, enough to satisfy two growing boys! They couldn’t say enough about the flavor and quality. My husband and I tried dishes including hash potatoes, fresh market veggies, beautifully cooked eggs, and their whole grain toast - that was a treat! As someone who isn’t a fan of toast, in general, making a meal out of this whole grain toast, house-made butter and preserves would be easy to do. Lovely atmosphere, obvious camaraderie among the staff, fun culture, exceptional product! We left happy and eager to experience First Watch again very soon. “We skipped the food as we stopped in during the taco festival, but holy awesome service Batman! Victoria (maybe Veronica?) and Brie were awesome bartenders. Very fun and personable. Kept us in margaritas 🍹 and were an absolute joy! Looking forward to going back.

“Amazing food and atmosphere! Service pretty good. When the waitress was taking our orders, she asked us if we wanted a salad w our meal like it came with it, and they were $12 a piece. Little deceiving. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise definitely recommend.“

“Everything about Culver's is outstanding except their gluten-free hamburger buns. Since the gluten-free hamburger is the only main dish food item they have, I'm kind of stuck with it when my family wants to eat at Culver's for family dinner night. Everything about the burger is great except the bun. It's reminiscent of the gluten-free buns of 20 years ago. It's grainy, doesn't hold together, and doesn't taste that good. Just the act of picking up my burger tonight had it cracking in 4 places, with a big chunk falling off the burger and crumbling onto my tray. There are a lot of great gluten-free buns out there now. Culver's needs to find one of them and switch.

Last night, while I was at Culver’s, a woman fell in the parking lot and her spouse was struggling to help her up. One of the staff members quickly rushed over to assist them, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful and kind. I also went over to make sure she was okay, but it really stood out to me that the staff didn’t hesitate to step in and help. Moments like that speak volumes about the people who work here. Great food and even better character from the team—I’ll definitely be back.“

“So it is Monday July 14 and we just left Joe’s BBQ and my wife told me that my BBQ is better the Joe’s any-day. Sunday night we went to Q39 and wow what a difference. My wife and I both had the 3 meat and sides of beans,and vegetables. Every single thing we had was great. Chicken(white meat) had good flavor but chicken is chicken. Sausage was full of flavor with the peppers. Ribs were fall off the bone and didn’t need sauce. The pulled pork was really soft and melted in the mouth good. So at this point I have to say if you are in Kansas City for BBQ go to Q39 last because nothing compares the it at least in Kansas City anyway.“
