“Ate here last night and this restaurant is a "must try!" I had the 12 oz. KC Strip, mashed potatoes, garlic green beans, and... for dessert, apple caramel bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream was to die for! The atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste, but aside from that, it was delightful!“

“Came in on a superbowl Sunday and it was quiet ish, the bartender, Ryan was great though, engaging, great service, dealt with my indecisiveness quickly. I had a great time just chilling on a quiet night. Came back Tuesday and it was lively, plenty of friendly locals. Ryan remembered my name and what I was drinking. My hometown dive bars don't serve food, but I felt at home, which is rare.

“I started out eating at a Pegah's in Shawnee. I was thrilled when they opened the one in Lenexa and eat there on a regular basis. I had breakfast there last Sunday and had perfect food (Combo Breakfast) and service. Tonight, I went for dinner. They were pretty busy but I was immediately seated in a quiet corner in the back. My server, Ali, brought me water per my request and took my order. She was hustling from table to table, but always assured me my order would be ready soon. A wonderful young man named Zack noticed me sitting with water and rushed over to make sure I had been helped. Soon after, Ali brought my chicken fried chicken. She was always smiling and checked on me a handful of times. The food, as always, was DELICIOUS! Thank you for your delicious food and wonderful staff. I recommend Pegah's to everyone!“

“We were so hungry when we arrived at Holy Land Cafe. It was late afternoon noon on one of our BRISK winter days. We walked in the door and or welcomed with the aroma of wonderful food coming from the kitchen. We chose to sit in a booth not too far from the entrance. The staff attended to us almost immediately. My husband ordered the garlic chicken dinner and I ordered the falafel sandwich. We both had the lentil soup as the accompaniment to our meal. The soup was served quickly, it was hot and delicious. Just what we needed to warm ourselves up. The food was served very quickly, And it was also delicious. My husband's meal I believe cost $15, And it was a substantial portion of food. The chunks if chicken breast were covered in a garlic and cream sauce I believe with maybe saffron in it, Served with rice, veggies ,and Pita bread. My falafel sandwich was amazing as well. There are 3 things that I judge mediterranean restaurants on one is their hummus the other is their falafel and the third is their pita bread. I combined all 3 things in my sandwich, And I was not disappointed. We couldn't believe we had never been to this restaurant before and we certainly will make sure that we return again. As we were paying for our meal we decided to get the pistachio baklava. They have several varieties of baklava and the pistachio one was a hit. Looking forward to trying the other varieties on another visit.“

“Sit at the bar for a fun view of the busy kitchen and top notch service. They have Boulevard on tap, or a full bar. It was comfy to dine their as well, amd they have TVs from every angle. the staff is so friendly and never miss a beat when it comes to what you need.“

Got the smoky mountain flat iron steak, mac and cheese, goat cheese grits. I also added on a side of rosemary parmesan crispy potatoes.

The steak had good flavor.
The mac and cheese was delicious, just a little cold when served.
The goat cheese grits was on the weaker side of flavor.
The potatoes were tasty.

The service was friendly and well paced.
The atmosphere looks fantastic, and the tables were clean.

“Went there for dinner and was our first time there. The food is very delicious. We ordered 5 different dishes from the Cantonese menu(which is the more traditional Chinese menu).and gosh the portion sizes were huge and every dish was great. They all had their own distinct taste. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good sit down and order or even take out Chinese food.“

They have the best chips and salsa of any Mexican Restaurants when me and my friends go we end up getting like 6 plates of chips and at least 3 refills of salsa each. The food is also fire the pork carnitas are Lightning in a bottle an amazing explosion of Flavor the carnitas tend to explode all over my hands, but that’s a me issue. Their pricing is also very good. I would recommend this place to all who are looking for great Mexican food!“

“80th Street location We usually go to the one on 151st but saw a review in a group and this one was so cute decided to try it. We went on Monday, had such an amazing dinner that we went back tonight (Tuesday). Our servers both nights were beyond friendly and knowledgeable. I forgot Mondays server name but tonight was Marcos and he was the absolute best! I had the tortilla soup both nights and I just want a gallon of it, the best I have ever had. The toppings added to it overall, and the fresh avocado was so tasty. Really, get it, you won't be the same after. Is getting it 3 days in a row excessive? Hmmmm Taco Tuesday tacos $1 each, ground beef or chicken. The ground beef is well seasoned, and delicious. The avocado salsa is another must try. This is a must and my new favorite place.“

From the time I arrived I met the owner Mr. Steve Zarda & he greeted me and treated me like a life-long friend of his. That alone made my day as a Trucker bcuz sometimes we get treated like dirt out here. We talked outside as I was about to come in & he started walking with me as I told him I was from Big D Dallas and I was stopping by to check this place out. Not knowing i was walking & talking with the owner of Zarda the whole time. He allowed me to tell him how I was sitting n my big truck checking out the reviews of this place & the reviews were great. He kindly smiled and said, Hi, my name is Steve Zarda and I'm the owner. I was blown away folks bcuz he was outside washing the pad around the drive thru & the back door. Now I'm really, really impressed with him as a man & his work ethics as mine. Well we proceeded inside & it was very, very clean, nicely decorated, a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere to be in. Mr. Zarda introduced me to his entire staff which were some of the nicest, coolest, professional young people I've seen n a long time on a job folks. Nobody was texting & half ignoring me as a customer. They were all so nice, knowledgeable of the menu and anxious to help me. That made my day all the way. Mr. Zarda said since this is your first time here I'm going to take care of U. And lord knows he did just that folks. They made sure I was totally and completely happy, full & complete. Lol.. I couldn't eat all that food but I definitely took my to go bag like a champ. The food was to die for folks, the ribs were smoked perfectly & falling off the bone, all the 3 different beans i tried were unbelievable to the taste buds, the onion rings were fried to perfection with a light crunch & the beef & pork burnt ends were just right, they melted n yo mouth with a edge of crunchyness. All I can say is this folks, this is truly, truly my new found BBQ place in Lenexa, KS. Whenever I'm trucking thru here. Just to know I have a place to stop away from home & I'm treated like a dear friend Instead of a customer by the owner & all his staff from front to back, hell that alone is worth my time, money & support folks. “Topp'd Lenexa Public Market I have to give a huge shout out, what delicious pizza you all are making! The other night we ordered up a cheese and pepperoni (look at those delicious huge slabs) and a Margherita with basil chicken and fresh basil added. A side of their baked meatballs and 2 orders of cheese garlic bread. OMG, we were delighted! Crispy crust, bold flavors in the pizza sauce, absolutely delicious pizza and those meatballs were perfect texture and taste. Tasted homemade, I can't confirm, but try for yourself and you'll see. We hadn't had Topp'd since before the last 2 years of shutdowns, wish we had not waited so long. Thank you Topp'd, one of our new favorite pizzas in KC and conveniently located close to home at Lenexa Public Market“

“The food was fantastic. Which was the saving grace. It was a Saturday night, but, the restaurant really wasn't that busy. Despite that, we spent about 2 hours there. We repeatedly had to ask for the same things over and over and would even see our server chatting with people at the bar instead of bringing a drink, or the check etc. Then she would forget what we asked for. Rinse and repeat. I would recommend the place for sure if the servers were decent. And maybe we got the one bad one. But man, it was frustrating. Good food though!“
