Sandwich Shops near Merriam

“Had a great experience today. Didn’t catch the employee’s name but he’s a taller guy with dreads. He was very personable and polite, changed his gloves between meat and veggie sandwiches, and was overall very nice. It was very clean as well.“

“Awruff! Bay Boy Sandwiches at the Commons! Where even to start! Tail-Wagging fun from the moment I walked it! Sports games, arcade games, lawn games, and skeeball! This place has it all! 🏈 🎯 🕹️I got a mouth-watering sandwich, The Bandit! Roast beef, smokey cheddar, red onion, raspberry jam and horseradish all on a delicious Dutch crunch roll! 🐶💚🥪 The atmosphere was high-energy and just felt less like strangers, and more like your own pack. It took a minute for our food to be ready, but it was so hot and fresh, and the staff were so nice I didn't mind! 10/10 🦴 will definitely be back!“

“I love kitties hamburgers, and have highly reviewed them in the past. I was really looking forward to today to one this Friday afternoon and I have memorized their hours.
Behold, they’re closed until the end of February. Was a very small faded cardboard sign on the door.
If they really cared about their customers, they’d have a big one that you could see from the street without having to park and walk um readable one .
And they would at least update their website.
Guess I’ll have to go to Shake shack this afternoon.“

“Fast and friendly staff. Food was hot & fresh, delicious and the wait time was short. Best fries I've ever tasted. Great food!“

“I love picklemans. Its so yummy“

“Long time customer enjoy the knackwurst but the order today has a different texture. Instead of being dense and firm, it is loose and soft. May be a one off, as this is first time in 20 years for such a change. Hope the recipe was not changed to keep the price down as the knackwurst today does not reflect the legacy. Will try again and hope for the better.“

“Stellar speed, great food, great people! The owner of a the restaurant personally made sure that they turned out a huge order for our group of 15. The sandwiches came so quickly, and the food was awesome! Super fresh with toasty freshly made bread. And the Owner plus staff were all really great, super nice people. I will go back in a heartbeat when visiting KC again.“

“If you’re anywhere near 87th Street in Lenexa, near Westlake Hardware, you have to check out Lenny’s Sub Shop. The bread is made fresh daily, and you can really taste the difference—it’s soft, flavorful, and the perfect base for a seriously great sandwich. The ingredients are always fresh and packed with flavor, and they don’t skimp on portions either—you easily get three times more than what you’d find at the typical chain sub shops. Every bite is delicious and satisfying. Definitely a go-to spot if you’re craving a quality sub! I ordered the 7.5” American Club on white bread w cheddar. It came w chips and a drink for $11’ They also offer catering and they deliver!
😆 I’m glad I ate my sandwich in the restaurant! It was so huge I would have made a mess if I had eaten in the car!“

“I like Schlotzsky's; it a chain, so you likely know if you like it or not. So instead of the food--I like the Original, extra toasty--I want to review this particular establishment. I have been here many times. The restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food comes out quickly in the way that you ordered it. This is, quite simply, a well run franchise; if you like Schlotzsky's, you will like this store.“

“Had a coupon BOGO for the new store in Glenwood Plaza. Never ate at one. So tried it today. Had the Club Sub & Mikes Famous Philly. Wow...the Club Sub was huge! Very good, freshly sliced ham a& turkey, plenty of bacon. Dressed with lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickles & onions on wheat. Great sandwich! Huge! Great value for the $$$. Will eat that again! The Philly was decent. Ample shaved beef, grilled fresh, along with peppers and onions, and ample white american cheese for a good gooey to it. No added toppings. Had on the rosenary parm bread. Personally, I wish there would have been more peppers & onions on the sandwich. I should have asked for more, but didn't know if there would be an upcharge. Only downside IMO was red onions are better for sandwiches than white onions, and be nice to have a few more options on toppings, like maybe sliced bell peppers, and spinach as an alternative to the shredded lettuce. So, we will be back. Club Sub on my favorites list, but need to try the chicken philly & chicken bacon ranch philly. Got a couple coupons left in the postcard, $2 off order and 25% off order, so will use those. If anyone has an extra postcard mailer and don't like Jersey Mike's, IM me and I'll give you my address ..I'll take those coupons...lol... Overall, very pleased. And my 91 year old mother enjoyed both sammiches also, so that is very good! Try them out...I was very pleased...“

“Fantastic experience ordering boxed lunches for a large group at my work. Tasty sandwiches, easy process, and quick pickup!“

“Customer Appreciation Day today!“

“Joe took care of us today, he was awesome! Extremely patient, very kind, and had great suggestions on what to eat. He was totally right about the burnt end sandwich, btw. I highly recommend it WITH crispy onions. He even brought our food over and made sure we were settled. I love this place, and I definitely give them 5 stars.“

“I really enjoy this location and the quality of the food, operator, and service. I go almost every day. The customer loyalty program being down for so long is very ridiculous but that is not the locations fault. Highly recommended! Hook and Ladder with black olives. Trust me.“

“Anyone living in a rural area that has never been to a planet sub, you need to go, trust me on this one. It's like home cooking but styled in a nice sub shop. The vibe between the food and service is what I like in a restaurant. The guy that served me was super cool, and helped me with everything since it was my first time. Im definitely coming back and recommending to more people for sure. Thank you to this store for setting a good standard with all Planet Sub location. :)

P.s. I ordered a whole cookie and footlocker sub before posting this. It was so amazing I couldn't put it down.
P.S.S The guy that helped me is genuinely kind and upbeat. Great customer service with EVERYONE who has walked through the door.“

“Only the best subs you’ll ever eat 🙏🏾 no 🧢“

“The boss was so kind and helpful I had never been there before and oh my gosh the line was almost out the door and I nearly tuned around but I could see those workers working hard and getting that line down fast. So I stayed and I got the number 7 a classic apparently. So good!! And the workers are so kind I would recommend.. They are the best and I have been back at least twice this week and got a giant to take to work with me through out the week. Perfect meal prep.“

“Best food in waldo for delivery. You get what you order and it's always tasty.“

“Absolutely excellent. Friendly, capable service. Food is five star so far .... I'm eating my way through the menu!“

“I looked up sandwiches near me and this place popped up. It is inside the Morton Salt building in Corporate Woods! I ordered the Turkey Bacon Guacamole sandwich! It was delicious! I also tried chips and white queso! I was so pleasantly surprised at how fresh and good everything was for a work cafe! They are online so anyone can order! Yummy!“

“Came in at 7:55 (which as a former sandwich artist I hate goin places right at close). But the young fellow workin behind the counter still made my food with a smile an care. I also apologized for coming in right at close (cuz again I always hated that) an he said it was fine if they were frustrated with me they didn't make it seem like it so kudos to that young man who was workin on 8/16 at 7:55“

“Really great lunch spot! Love the delicious options and how hot and fresh everything was. The only reason I gave a 4 star is could be a little cleaner. It did take a little while to get our food even though we were one of the only orders they had in person it seemed but the food was hot and fresh so that made up for it. Definitely a splurge but worth it!

We had the steak and bleu cheese sandwich and the Cobb wrap both with sweet potato fries.“

“Geeze I don't know how long it's been since I happened to stop in at this establishment. A long time. I treat it as a nice treat cause of the price 20$ for a whole sandwich chips and a fountain drink. The quality is second to none though. The two young gentlemen were quick and friendly with there service. So if you're in the area leave them a tip when you drop in.“

“very friendly every time i go in there, always clean“

“The staff is very friendly here. I highly recommend 😉“

“Just finished the Alaskan salmon meal to go (delivery!) and it was fantastic! Check out their meal to go options 😊“

“Went into McAllister's today. Ordered a French Dip and I thought I ordered a large but it was, instead, a small. The manager was very accommodating and was willing to correct my order. I appreciate her freindliness when the error was on my end. Her kindness and graciousness makes me want to return to this establishment.“

“The best food in Westport by far . Absolutely beautiful atmosphere here customer service is always amazing keeps us coming back every time ❤️“

“Enjoyed my 1st visit to CBC. The food was very good in a pleasant atmosphere. Will definitely go back.“

“Used this location for party subs and they were wonderful! They put all the sides in separate containers so the bread wouldn't get wet. They also gave us a bunch of sauces to use! As a bonus, they gave my daughter some pickles on the way out. Thank you for great customer service!“

“Sandwich and salads look good and tasty“

“The best sub I’ve ever had! Everything was super fresh, and the food was absolutely awesome. The bread was perfectly baked, and the chicken was tender and flavorful with all the spices. The place had such a nice vibe and great ambience — clean, cozy, and welcoming. Definitely coming back again! Highly Recommended!“

“I love their salads. So far I’ve tried the mediterranean and the uptown!“

“Fresh subs!! Absolutely loved it. The service is really good as well. Great decor for the Holidays!“

“I just want to say thank you so much. They are the only ones who follow the instructions. I recently had to have all my teeth removed and eating is near impossible and they cut my sandwich up in smaller pieces for me so I could eat it easier. Such a small action literally has me in tears because it has been such a struggle and I can't express how much it means to me. A little kindness really goes a long way.“

“The individual at the cashier was very helpful and polite. My order was supposed to be ready at 12:10p. I arrived right on time; however, the order was not ready. He immediately apologized (with a good attitude). A couple minutes later, he gave me my order, apologized again for been busy, and told me to have a nice day. When I arrived at my office (about 5 minutes later) my food was still warm. Overall, a great experience.“

“Much-improved with new ownership!“

“I had the chicken Philly and it was great! Best fries! Not greasy!!!! Love!!!“

“I would like to say that I went into subway today, I was in a bad mood and I was waited on by Tony who was very friendly and just the best customer service and attitude, I left there in a better mood than I walked in , it was his attitude, his conversation , it was the best service I’ve had in awhile , I recommend subway on s 18th and go see Tony , he is the best , I’ve told all my family and friends, so hope your looking for some business.“

“Amazing staff. Fast, friendly service. Thanks 🙏🏻“

“First visit! 5 stars from the time we walked in to the time we left. Great service excellent food!“

“Had an amazing experience at this Subway outlet!
The store is super clean, the ingredients are fresh, and everything tastes just perfect. The staff is really friendly and quick with service, which makes the whole experience even better.

Loved how they customize every sandwich exactly the way you want it. Definitely one of the best Subway stores I’ve visited. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re nearby!“

“The sandwich artists in this particular store are very personable. There are 4 that I love talking to and catching up with. The store is always clean and I've never had an issue when I go in the store. I did order on door dash once and they sent the sandwich with no toppings that I asked for but other than that, I've had no issues.“

“I enjoy The Planet Sub sandwich with chips and a drink. I prefer eating in the restaurant as the sub is toasted and tastes best fresh from the kitchen.

However, I've gotta knock the service and overall score down a bit. The staff is always friendly, but if you modify your order at all, make sure you check before eating. Too many mistakes coming from the kitchen recently even though my receipt shows the correct order. It's frustrating having to send an order back.“

“I like the the food sandwiches are soo nice. I went for lunch food was Awesome and had a good sanitary standards. I want to mention this cause my sandwich maker saw her friends she shooks her hand with gloves after she changed before handling food .which I had to remind in most of other sandwich places . I really Appreciate the manager trained them I will give them ????.“

“Good... Happy place.“

“Recently ordered from Olathe Firehouse and it was amazing. Great service as well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Firehouse Subs.“

“Yum yum“
