“Just discovered this gem of a restaurant today. Food is upscale, creative and delicious. Service was outstanding. I had Besan Chella Omelette with Sweet Potato Hash, a Lavendar Lemondade and Coconut Panna Cotta! All outstanding. I will be back and work my way through everything on the menu!“

“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

“In town for the week and looking for something with heart, this place popped up as a local favorite and now I understand why. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine kindness and warm energy that you could feel in the room.
It was a little busy, which is always a good sign, but we scored a sidewalk table and that is totally my vibe. The Baba falafel on pita was absolutely soul satisfying. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and made with love.
Inside, the decor is beyond charming. Whoever designed the space clearly knows how to mix color and texture with personality. Honestly, I want them to come decorate my house next.
Grateful for this gem. It made our visit that much sweeter.“

“Aside from parking, this place is really great. I love their pho and their fried rice. I have been here twice, and the second time I brought my friend from out of state, and he enjoyed the curry and the Vietnamese iced coffee.
I also doordash from here a lot, they never get my order wrong :)“

“Our filets were delicious from the first bite, but after that my "medium well" turned into medium rare. Wonderful sides (the pear walnut salad was wonderful!) made me wonder if perhaps the waiter just misunderstood the order. The wines, the desserts... everything impressed, and all in a beautiful, comforting setting. I may have to go back for that filet again.“

The owners are so kind and genuine quick to strike up a conversation. And their house made chai tea is absolutely to die for, I will definitely be back time and time again for that alone. “Glad to find a place in KC with a full vegan menu—hard to come by so far… Staff were accommodating with custom requests, like keeping sauces on the side and mixing vegan and non-vegan options for our group. The pretzel appy was freshly-made. The burger wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but the beet patty was unique, generously loaded with toppings, and overall pretty tasty.“

“Food was great, seasoned well, and we loved the aesthetic. However for the price you would think you’d get more food. I ordered the egusi soup and that little pot they serve for $28 was not enough and I always get to-go containers for my meals. But this was more of a child’s portion in my opinion.“

You know what it is.
I do have to say that this is closer to 4 and a half stars.
We’ve noticed Taco Bell quality has been improving overall, but this store is the BEST in the area for quality and service.
Great staff and always a nice place to have a quick snack or meal!“
