“Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

We did go at a weird time, so there was barely anyone there, which is funny for 6:30 pm on a Saturday. Overall, I can't wait to come back“

“Honestly we were waiting in line to eat somewhere else and we got tired of waiting and walked down the street to this place. Didn't have very high expectations if I'm being honest. The decore is a little 12 years ago, but it's to be expected. What I didnt expect was how good the food was going to be. First of all they have a pretty good beer selection and a lot of interesting cocktails. We got the chips and queso as a starter (which came out with our food, oh well). Unbelievably delicious. Restaurant made chips, perfectly salty and crisp. Very tasty queso. My wife and I then had the mix and match tacos. I had 2 chicken and 2 mahi mahi and my wife had the cheeseburger and the cane asada. They were all delicious, except the chicken was a little bland.

Our server, I can't remember his name now sorry, was excellent. Very attentive, professional, amiable. Top tier service.

The drinks were a little spendy but that is to be expected I guess. Actually turned out to be the most expensive meal we had on our trip. Big bonus was that there was no wait and the food came out quick. All in all it was a great experience.“

First, the entire meal was late, they had to substitute knots for garlic bread, waited forever and the calzone had literally one piece of meat about 1"x1.5" and what looked like a mozzarella stick for cheese. “I remember hearing about this place years ago but never went. It popped up on my FYP on TikTok so I decided to give it a try. My family and I drove down on a Saturday around 12:30. Not sure where it was exactly, we ended up driving by it and having to turn around. There is only street parking available so we parked 1/2 a block up and walked down. We weren’t the only ones who did. The steady flow of people coming in and out was a lot. Good for business. They only accept cash, which is good to know beforehand. We ordered the famous pork tenderloin, a cheeseburger and fries. Everything is alacarte. Which is also good to know beforehand.
The tenderloin had good flavor but was fried very hard. My husband enjoyed his but said it was too spicy, he had the hot sauce. Overall, it was good. Glad we finally tried it.“

“I know this is a bold statement to make, but this restaurant’s the best Lao restaurant I’ve visited thus far in the U.S., and I’ve been to quite my fair share of them in the U.S. in these past seven years. The workers and owner here at Khop jai der noodles are very friendly and the larb nam tok siin, thum khao poon, nam khao, khua mii, Lao beef jerky, Lao sausage, Lao milk tea, red summer drink, and green summer drink are the bomb! I love that all the dishes I ordered are as authentic as how my Lao friends/family and I’d make it, have reasonable prices, and have reasonable portion sizes. A lot of Asian restaurants in the U.S. are all over the place with their spice levels, but this restaurant doesn’t play, and their “hot”/second most spiciest level, was pretty spicy for someone who can tolerate a lot of spice. It’s nice that I was made clear of this as I was ordering. Their wait times are also reasonable. I ordered a lot, not to mention that they were also taking other in-person and over-the-phone orders, but I got all my dishes in less than 30 minutes. I had a fun time talking with Auntie Mimi, the owner, and Uncle Guy, the co-owner, after my meal. Uncle Guy even offered to help me box my food and take my food to my car, but I didn’t take up his offer since I didn’t want to get in the way of other orders/customers. Lastly, I wanted to note that Auntie Mimi was very courteous on the phone when I called two days before my visit to confirm their hours. Restaurants like this one, one that offers authentic Lao dishes and isn’t afraid to label itself and its menu as Lao, are the ones I wish to succeed the most and wish there were more of in places outside of Laos. I was smiling from ear to ear seeing all kinds of customers coming in, ordering the Lao-style of dishes, and seemingly pleased with their orders. This restaurant’s only been open 16 months at the time of my visit, and I hope that it gets all the love and attention it deserves very soon! I certainly can’t wait to check it out again the next time I’m in the area and wouldn’t even mind driving from my home, three and a half hours away, just to eat here!“

“Me and my mom stopped by while in town for a concert and everything literally was PERFECT. we have been raving in the car since leaving and Tiffany was the most perfect server that we were blessed with. I recommend the beef burnt ends but imagine the pork are great as well. We also had the crown prime which is amazing. It is a $16 up charge, but worth every penny. It is so tender and flavorful.
