“Amazing per usual. Food is always so fresh and delicious and the staff is bright and helpful. It’s a great spot for a date or to bring a big group of friends. The patio is cozy and I love to sit next to the Koi pond. I had a summer special mint beef salad that I continue to crave. The deserts are also incredible. “Food is really good, I've ordered many times from them but my last order included an $8.25 fee for carry out supplies. They charge a percent of the entire bill. No where in the check out process do they tell you this. This seems excessive for 6 utensil packs and 5 takeout containers. Many other BBQ places with similar price points do not charge this fee. If you are going to charge extra fees be up front about it.“

“In town for the week and looking for something with heart, this place popped up as a local favorite and now I understand why. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine kindness and warm energy that you could feel in the room.
It was a little busy, which is always a good sign, but we scored a sidewalk table and that is totally my vibe. The Baba falafel on pita was absolutely soul satisfying. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and made with love.
Inside, the decor is beyond charming. Whoever designed the space clearly knows how to mix color and texture with personality. Honestly, I want them to come decorate my house next.
Grateful for this gem. It made our visit that much sweeter.“

“Aside from parking, this place is really great. I love their pho and their fried rice. I have been here twice, and the second time I brought my friend from out of state, and he enjoyed the curry and the Vietnamese iced coffee.

“Glad to find a place in KC with a full vegan menu—hard to come by so far… Staff were accommodating with custom requests, like keeping sauces on the side and mixing vegan and non-vegan options for our group. The pretzel appy was freshly-made. The burger wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but the beet patty was unique, generously loaded with toppings, and overall pretty tasty.“

The place is painted beautifully but all the tables are dirty and broken.
The online prices are wrong. The good is very expensive.“

I ordered the egusi soup and that little pot they serve for $28 was not enough and I always get to-go containers for my meals. But this was more of a child’s portion in my opinion.“
