“If you plan to visit the famed Cafe du Monde while in NOLA (which I recommend), I recommend this location. It is in city park and right next to the New Orleans art museum. I did not have to wait at all midday and they accepted card payment. The beignets come in sets of 3 and were amazing. The iced cafe au lait was quite good. Important note for those that this effects was that they told me they only have whole milk products for their coffees.“

“Until we arrived in New Orleans we didn’t know what ruby slipper was. And as soon as we arrived, we found out that this place is a brunch institution! The queueing system (if you do on Google) is slightly confusing, and more so for foreigners who don’t receive US texts. So I recommend going there early, queue to put your name down and stick around by the door and ask them periodically if your table is ready.. the atmosphere was buzzing and super cozy. It’s that kind of a place where you wanna go after a big day of drinking and still have a big hangover but want a good boozy brunch! The Bloody Mary is a must - has really good kick and the garnish of pickled green beans are yum!We went for the French toast with fried chicken and strawberries - yes it sounds strange, but gosh it worked so well! It’s sweet savoury and crunch all in one. Also the portion was massive. We also went for the biscuits Benedicts special with three different toppings. I love these options and they are fun to try though the biscuits felt a little soggy. There are lots of choices for everyone and I definitely recommend this place as a must try.“

“My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Morning Call Coffee Stand in New Orleans, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly made beignets and café au lait. The service was lightning-fast, and despite being a cash-only establishment, we were in and out in no time. The staff members were not only efficient but also had a great sense of humor, adding a playful touch to our morning routine. As for the food, it was simply divine. The beignets were light, fluffy, and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar, while the café au lait was rich and creamy, the perfect complement to the sweet treats.Overall, Morning Call Coffee Stand provided us with a memorable breakfast experience that perfectly encapsulated the charm and flavor of New Orleans. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit.“

“We booked the Airbnb in the same building but we arrived earlier than our check in time. A lady who works here invited us in with our luggage and all while we waited for our room to be ready. She was truly just the friendliest person ever! We were here for a volleyball tournament at the convention center and she too had had daughters who played volleyball in the past and she was just so genuinely happy for us to be here for this. We ate here almost everyday and this place is just the cutest, super clean, friendliest staff place ever!!! I seriously can't recommend this cafe enough!!! My husband couldn't even get over how nice all the staff are in here. The crepes are delicious!!! As well as all the danish treats!!! The almond croissant was one of our favorites as well as the chicken Alfredo mushroom crepe!!! 5/5 stars easily!!!“

“We went yesterday and the wait was 2 hours. Got there a little earlier today and we got in. I’ve eaten at the Uptown location and was so happy they opened up another one that’s closer. It was my daughter’s first time and she said the food is so good and understands why there is a wait.“

“Best breakfast I’ve ever had. Our family of four arrived on Sunday just before the rush. We ordered the Big Easy Breakfast, the Benedict/sub regular bacon instead of Canadian, and two orders of French Toast. All four plates were wiped clean which is an absolute first for us! Hash browns and Grits are to die for. We ordered a second order of Hash browns. Service was great.“

“We loved our meal here! The environment felt very nice and clean, and the service was great. I had the lemon buttermilk ricotta pancakes, and OMG! They were so fluffy and decadent without being too sweet. My dining companion had the BBQ shrimp and grits and said they were the best he'd ever had. He looked so happy! Would eat here again all day, any day!“

“This shop is an iconic shop of NOLA. It sells bakery items and beverages, nonetheless Beignets and Chicory Coffee are its main attractions. I had these food items inside the shop and in a conference at New Orleans as well. The shop was very crowded and I had to stand in a queue. The Beignets and Chicory Coffee of Cafe Du Monde are so popular that I had to stand in a queue while in conference center to have the food. Price is affordable.“

“Great little cafe tucked in the quarter featuring a wide variety of games from arcade machines to uno. Love the vibe and the food here but the coffee is a bit pricey.Got a large mocha (more like medium sized) for around $8-9. Just a bit more compared to other cafes like PJs.“

I love the smoothie options, including substitutes and add-ons.My personal favorite has been the Almond Butter Cup… I recommend trying this if you have a sweet tooth like me :)I also appreciate the number of vegetarian/vegan options. We will be visiting again and recommending Daily Beet to friends and family!“

“Excellent ice cream and plenty of flavors from which to choose. My favorite ice cream is rum raisin. Not many places serve this flavor these days, and it is almost impossible to find in grocery stores. Angelo Brocato has an excellent Rum Raisin.“

“I was a bit disappointed that the juices weren't freshly made on the spot. But the Root and Fruit was very tasty. I like to juice at home so I can get the pulp, no pulp with their juices. The younh woman at the register was very kind and knowledgeable. I see some people complain about the prices. To them I say, have you been in the grocery stores these days and seeing the price of veg and fruit?“

“I loved the vibe here! I'm not a coffee drinker, but I had their earl grey tea and added some milk and honey, and then had their butterfly peaflower green iced tea with honey and sugar. Both were tasty! The environment here is to die for. Even if the drinks had been garbage I would have stayed just to relax on their lovely back patio.“

“It is part of the contemporary art museum and, as such, has a super eclectic and very welcoming atmosphere. The music is pleasant, the wifi is excellent and the service is very good. It's a shame that when I went they had almost no pastry options or a broader menu. Nice “

“Our experience was very limited. That's the reason why I got all five stars because we went in there like 30 minutes before it was closing. There was nobody in there and we just basically bought the donuts that were left. And they all were yummy. Even the gluteinless one. We had a raspberry cheesecake, Too gluteinless, cookie butter, banana pudding donuts.“

“The food is soooooo good. The best brunch menu in Nola. Tried most things and it always slaps. Service is great.-1 for no reservations and long waits. I have no idea why they don’t give both the overworked hosts and customers a break by having a more streamlined res/waitlist system. Attempting Bearcat on the weekend is a competitive sport. Is it a reverse psychology thing? Like knowing you probably won’t get in so you want it even more? Having waited in the sun for an hour so the mimosas are extra refreshing? Lmk!“

“Went here once with my dad, have been asking him to take us again. Very nice atmosphere and our drinks arrived fairly quickly. I ordered a hot chocolate and it was honestly one of the best I've ever had, it was very authentic tasting and rich in flavor. Would def reccomend.Kid-friendliness: I can tell you it is pretty kid friendly, they let me have a nice big sticker of their logo for free.“

“Um. Wow. This place is phenomenal, and the ladies running it are so kind and lovely. My sister and I both got the soft serve flavor of the week, cookies and cream, in affogato form. It had their vegan whipped cream, crushed Oreos, and an Oreo on top. Extremely pleased and it was absolutely delicious, especially with their house blend espresso that they even grinded right in front of us!! 1,000% recommended on every level.“

“My first time here. I got an iced pistachio latte with oatmilk and my husband got a frozen mocha latte with oatmilk. We live on the northshore and had to go to the southshore for something and instead of stopping at Starbucks, we wanted to try something new! Definitely recommend. Customer service was great and our coffee order was delicious!“

“Good coffee. Very tasty and the place has a nice, homey ambience. They didn't have almond milk so I got coconut in my decaf iced latte. Had a lot of good flavor for a decaf... didn't have the usual nasty decaf aftertaste which I appreciate. Pretty large for a small too!“

“Loved this place, so much so that we went back a couple of times over our trip.Very friendly staff, fantastic drinks, and good pastries. The Dirty Zombie is the best frozen coffee drink I've ever had, a mix of blended chocolate malt and espresso, seriously indulgent. My wife, a confessed coffee snob, absolutely loved each visit. The pastries were very good, large portions for the money. The spot is quirky and has a nice view of the cemetery located behind it. Welcome to an eccentric and eclectic coffee bar.“

“Quite possibly the best breakfast I have ever had...Boudin Benedict with a sweet tomato relish on top. The muffin was perfectly toasted and although the boudin could have been spicier (personal preference) it was amazing. My eggs were perfectly poached as well. Yum! ⚜️ Josh had Creole grits and beignets which he loved.“

“Stopped at the Mid City Ruby Slipper while visiting New Orleans for the week. I had the strawberry & almond pancakes and they were quite tasty. My friends all had the southern breakfast which they all enjoyed. We had the lemon blueberry beignets as a breakfast appetizer, they were tasty but tiny. Prices were OK, considering the location, and the service was very good, server was friendly. Don’t get to NO often but would stop again. Enjoyable experience.“

“Best Breakfast Quiche If you're lucky enough to catch them open this casual spot has amazing hand made pastries and quiche. The owner is there daily doing the baking. I've been a regular at this spot for the last 5 years. They're consistent at what they do. Even the vegetable quiche is outstanding. It's a cost friendly alternative to the crowded breakfast spots downtown. If you're there at 1:30-2:00 they give away the day's unsold pastries to customers...“

“This is such a cute and calming space. We came in for a couple of evening coffees as most places were closed, and it was so lovely we decided to sit down a little longer and chat with our lovey hostess/barista. I had the Lavender Oatmilk latte, while my friend had the Rose Almond Milk latte. If it wasn't our last day, we probably would have stopped by again to try their mocktails. A sobriety-focused and calming place was such a breath of fresh air from the chaos of the French Quarter.“

“The place is on canal, it's a cute little place. The only wheel chair accessible part is in the back. That was blocked by workers cars, and stopped working when we were leaving! The service from the hostess was great, but the waitress forgot about us in the back where they put us because of having a wheelchair. So that was disheartening. Had to chase her down a few times to either pay, ask for coffee refill, to place our order! So I'd say customer experience isn't a priority! But the food was good, it came out quick and hot! It was a very good meal!“

“This place doesn't stand out from the street, but when you go inside, it completely transforms you to a drink oasis! Between the cute decor and eclectic drink menu, you are bound to be transformed by your drink selection and outstanding customer service! As I had been drinking rum today, I wanted to stay with this theme, so I tried the Shiso fly, which is made with Japanese rum, and this drink was awesome! It was refreshing yet strong at the same time. Also, the bar tenders are knowledgeable about the alcohol and ingredients going into your drink, so if you're unsure about a drink, they will definitely help you find one that will satisfy your palette! I will definitely return for a stellar drink and light hearted conversation.“

“Loved this amazing place. It’s not in the French Quarter… but just steps away in the CBD. I went there 2 separate evenings, and tonight was my favorite. The gumbo was seasoned just right and delicious, and the blackened redfish was perfect. Yes there are fun places down the street, but, don’t pass this place up just because it’s not on the other side of canal. A very delicious meal“

“This is such a special place! Best coffee and absolute best from-scratch pastries in the Garden District. Plus, the staff are amazing, and there is no better place for people watching, as it is a hub for both locals and out of towners. Really lovely place. “Love, love love this coffee bar. It's super small and local that's a one man team run by the owner. “This shop is delightful! The pies are stellar, from sweet to savory. We visited from KC and stayed across the street, were able to visit a few times.
